This Note forum is way better than most. There are a few that visit here that forget manners but this place has lots of helpful developers, patient and careful members, and ridiculous humor ( including sarcasm ).
But you know things could be better when lots of posts start off "don't flame me for asking but . . . "

So many awesome Roms....I don't know which one to keep. I wish there's something like the Windows bootloader (romloader?) so that I can pick whichever Rom/Kernel whenever I want.

Like everyone else says. READ THE STICKIES then read them again!! After you understand whats going on then read the CM9 nightlys in the General Forum. There is a lot of good info in here. Just search for it!!! I did it and most other people did it too. Also you tube worked great for me!! Make sure you READ THE STICKIES and understand them before you do anything!!!!! SEARCH, SEARCH SEARCH the forums!!!!!

Rather than delete this, i want to post here as an example... People, if you want an issue handled fast, please use the report post link. This goes for the OP, as well as other readers.
Additionally, even if you think something has already been reported, report it anyway! Red and I would rather have 5 reports waiting, than to have missed something important because everyone assumed it was already reported..

After about 45 minutes of nervousness, I finally got this bad boy rooted. But now, I want it to shine. I want the latest & greatest of all root ideas from you all.
Mostly though, I installed a custom rom called JMZStock VM Shooter Odex. I'm not sure if it's all that, but if there's a better one out there, I'd sure like to have it.
So, give me your thoughs & ideas on this.

Try the [Discussion] Evo 3D ROM Information Thread in the General Forum.
You started this thread in the Themes and Apps Forum which has nothing to do with you getting root. Your best bet in the future is to post in the Q&A Forum unless your are sure the thread belongs somewhere else.
