It's mean that process will flashing full fastboot rom without leave anything (include user data will remove) except bootloader don't change (if you already unlocking bootloader with official way) for bootloader already unlocking with unofficial way..i think it will replace your bootloader with lock state again..but i'm not sure..coz never try it.
Save User Data :
It's mean will flashing fastboot rom and leave user data unchanged
Clean All and Lock :
This mean like the first one..but this one including bring back bootloader to locked state again.

for camera dosn't work, please check your camera sensor type. if you have newest sensor, then it will need some patch to make it work.

If so, you may need to flash an official rom by EDL mode to restore stock firmware after using CM firmware.
Stable SU v2.79 works fine on xiaomi.eu rom.
SU 2.79-SR1 is know to fail on some marshmallow devices, have reported the same in su thread.

How old is your device? Maybe you have a faulty device instead of blaming roms/supersu!
Google Maps, MIUI Compass app working on my device.
The light sensor I don't know how to test.
I don't think that is working on my device due to custom rom.

Simply flash persist image partion in fastboot. Yesterday i spent 3 h to search for working solutions. After this my all sensors alive !.

In fastboot mode the persist image is not flashed by MiFLash, so is not repaired. But it possibly does in EDL mode!

You have enabled GPS?
Since your last working status is when you had CM14 and it's firmware, that firmware is probably still causing conflicts with your device.
Recommend solution is to start with a clean slate and flash an official fastboot rom in EDL mode.
Note EDL mode and not fastboot!

Is your bootloader unlocked? If yes then install a custom recovery from fastboot, then wipe internal and just flash another rom. Miui is outdated now.

I have been using NitrogenOS for months without running into any problems. Try NOS rom maybe?

If you are goodix user, replace ur fp with fpc... LOS 14.1 works great for fpc.. Believe me buddy, even bluetooth also fixed nd now all bt speakers are getting paired without ny issues... Been 4 months nd i must say i forgt miui nd never go back... Even it has better battery backup... Always 6hrs SOT with stock kernel nd usage above 24 to 25hrs...
