Thanks.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on the mibox. It just crashes on launch and I get kicked back to the homescreen.
I can't understand why they still haven't made an official Android TV app.

Error on install
Thanks. The cravetv_atv forwarder installed fine but the modded crave tv apk fails to install with "there was a problem parsing the package". I'm installing from a USB drive onto my shield tv (2015?) from es file Explorer. Any suggestions? Thanks! So close!!

I've dumped the most recent version of Bell's Crave TV apk from my Fire Stick 4K and modified it to remove the Amazon appstore dependencies. I thought I would share the wealth.
Download:
https://mega.nz/#!VSBghCyY!gaM_Rjj8vpd2lPRE-3Fx6dT5hcoz_d88LX2D-dLL00I
Instructions:
- Download the rar file and extract it with for favorite archive extractor (winrar, 7zip etc...)
- Transfer the 2 apk files to a usb stick
- Using your favorite file manager (AnExplorer etc...), install Crave_1.91.0-Mod.apk and the CraveTV_ATV-Forwarder.apk
Tested and confirmed working with the following:
- 2015 16GB Shield
- 2017 16GB Shield
- Mibox
Enjoy!

Crash on shield 2017
I'm having trouble on my shield tv 2017. App crashes every time I run it. I had an aptoide version running before, it ran, but, horrible interface. I uninstalled it before installing your app, but, neglected to clear cache and data. Cleared cache and data on your app, then uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted, didn't help. Any suggestions? Thanks for the effort, btw. Crazy that their isn't more set top support for crave...

I think HGTV might be fire-tv only. Can you take a look at that when you have a chance?

Do you have Amazon app store sideloaded on your device. I did (though I didn't use it). Thus caused crave to crash on start. I uninstalled the Amazon app store which I had sideloaded and ceVe then worked perfectly.
@JJ-KwiK would you be able to pull the Tetris app from your Fire TV? I have a Shield and am unable to find the apk anywhere. Bit of a random request but worth the ask.

I need some urgent help .. I bought Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100( with gingerbread) 5 days ago in china .. as i live in china .. unfortunately , i found that there is no Android market icon , and therefore i cannot access market.android.com .. i googled and found there is no way that you can get it installed unless you go to the manufacturer , which i did , only to be disappointed... ( forget help, the customer care people , dont even understand the problem .. ) ... so i downloaded the android market .apk file 3.0.26 from a different source to my computer and then to the device and installed it .. since i am new user , i am not permitter to post outside link but the source is adroid devices dot com (with no spaces)
but now when i open the application it asks the device needs to be registered and would you want to register it .. i click yes and thats when it "exits" the application .. i am not able to do anything with this app ..
I am wondering if anyone can help me here ..

Yes.. It is.. First some reason Google renamed the Android Market, but Google play.. But everything is saved from when it was Android market. All you need is your Google email and password.

Market has been Updated
The android market has been Updated to google play store. There should now be an icon called Play store on your device.
And if you use "Go Launcher Ex (deutsch)" there is a new update, that will fix the missing (new) icon of the market.
I had some trouble too, but now everything is fine.
BUT now i got this annoying freeze problem again in the market
Here is what i found out about installing Android Market (or Google Play, Changed name but it is the same thing) on my Galaxy S2 i9100G.
I've been searching all around the web to try to fix it.
It is still not working for me, but i got a little bit farther though.
I actually found the hint on a Kindle thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351283
So what i did and what you can try is:
1) Install GoogleServicesFramework.apk
This seems to be the issue, as when you install it you can see the permissions Google requires, and pretty much says the can access ALL the data in your phone. (It would explain the censorship)
2) Install Android Market with any .apk you can find (google play apk also works)
3) Launch Android Market (or google play, anyway you get the update first time after you loggin)
Logging with only my wifi connection in some how didn't work, i had to turn on the APN to get sign in.
I HOW NOW ACCESS TO ANDROID MARKET !!! ON A CHINESE ROM !!!
But not so fast. I have access to the market, but i get an error when downloading an app (error 101). So it is still not working, but getting closer. I sent an e-mail to google to see if they can fix this (seems my account and my device are still not linked). Waiting for the reply...
Cheers

IM having the same problem someone please help:crying:
Hi guys,
I rooted my device today and installed some things like AdFree and ES File Explorer (with root file explorer option).
Then I wanted to test how good our Nexus 10 works with Adobe Flash.
Here is your path to get full flash support with your Nexus 10:
You have to unlock your bootloader and root your device afterwards like described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987594 and here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1996900 or install a prerooted ROM from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1997699 (keep in mind, that the newest version of CWM Recovery is 6.0.1.6)
You have to download the AOSP browser for Nexus 7 JB from here and follow the renaming steps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1780746&highlight=browser+apk
You have to install the Flash Player given in this post, or similar sources.
Enjoy your beautifully fast and sharp flash experience on your Nexus 10
I am not responsible for any bricked devices if you fail at some stage! My Nexus 10 runs perfect with flash now

It even plays Youtube Videos in 1080p. No 4K resolution supported sadly...
So Tube8 will work? Great! :fingers-crossed:
Yes it works perfect, I didn`t know that website..., but yes it works.

On my nexus 10 I have tried to put the apk into the system app folder using root explorer but it is not working. I renamed all the files that were already in the apps folder and when I reboot the browser.apk I put in there dissapears and is nowhere to be found. Its like the system app folder resets on reboot. Also, I found that root explorer would also sometimes not mouth the folder as r/w after pasting it in there. I have restored and flashed to stock, re rooted and tryed again with no success. Am I missing something?
Did you set the permissions of browser.apk to rw- r-- r--? I can't reconstruct your problem here. I restarted several times after the modification and the aosp browser is still there and runs perfect.

I have Flash working on Dolphin and Skyfire by just installing the Flash Player but I would also like Flash working on Opera Mobile if anyone has found a way of doing that on the N10.
Yes, it seems that on reboot everything in the system app folder is restored to how it was before. I have restore stock image and rerooted again and only installed root explorer and still. It is the same. Any one any ideas?
For other noobs like me, you'll need to search XDA for the FLASH.APK to install as well...it's not on the PLAY store any longer.
You can also try this method after you've rooted...
FLASHEX 2.05: (Root Required)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1569816
I've used this method on every tablet I've owned (Prime, Infinity, Note10.1, Galaxy tab10.1) and will be applying this method on my N10 so I can watch my Hulu through the browser.
This method works on all browsers from my experience with it. You will need to be rooted though.

If anyone is having a problem where the browser crashes when you try to full screen flash video, you can stop this from happening by going into the address bar, typing "about:debug" then going into settings>debug and selecting UAString and then selecting iPad. No idea why it works, but it does.
I'm having no luck with flash unrooted guess I'll have to give this a go one day . sucks that we don't have flash

Thanks for the reply, I opted to not install ES File Explorer when installing the ROM. Is there anything else you think could be the problem?
Had posted in a dead thread on Google help groups about this issue several weeks ago. Just got this gem of an answer in my email this morning.
Many thanks!
BTW, I had installed ES File Explorer just to check it out, didn't like it near as much as Total Commander. Best file manipulator for both windows and Android in my opinion.

Disabling ES's Downloader worked fine on my HTC Inspire. (ES: Settings/Download Manager/Disable ES Downloader)

Interesting, so even if the data was injected it would still crash
Also, can confirm that Fire Emblem Heroes playable on Lollipop, rooted or unrooted. Guess Nintendo hate Marshmallow
the game works but you won't see it in playstore rooted or on custom rom. you can download the apk. there is another problem, not sure if it's root related. after some time you get a communication error and won't be able to start the game until you reinstall it or delete this file "data/data/com.nintendo.zaba/shared_prefs/deviceAccount:.xml .. this will delete your save aswell but if you link it do nintendo id, it will download your savefile once again and you can continue. I play this way since release and need to delete the file almost every day.
edit: I'm on lineage14.1

Yeah, there's that too, but meh, as long as I can play it on the go while keeping my root, I'll take it
Remove supersu, flash magisk and enable magisk hide.
I previously had SuperSU and RR CM14 (or maybe CM14.1) and I couldn't download it directly from the store, so I had to find an APK. And after installing and playing the game, my browser would "lock" up, where I couldn't scroll up or down, but still open new tabs, etc. I'd also get random reboots. So I probably grabbed a bad APK.
Yesterday I switched to Lineage 14.1, I was able to download the game directly from the Play Store, and run the game without any issues.
Totally normal with SuperSU/MagiskSU rooted, LineageOS 14.1. I can't download it directly from Play Store due to unsupported location, so I downloaded an APK from external source (Qooapp) (same hash with Play Store file) and everything works fine.
The only bug is 803-3001 error could be solve with deleting deviceaccount:.xml file in game data (root required)
