I get into bootloader mode... should i just try to reflash or did i kill it?

You need to flash an Official Rom now. The WMXL package requires you device to be booted into the OS.
After that you can flash the WMXL Rom.
ok, so i just download one from the o2 webpage and try my luck....

hi everyone,
i have a huge problem. my rom flash for my i-mate (qtek 2020, mdaII, XDAII) hung during flashing (from 1.66 to 1.72 official i-mate rom) during the ce upgrade step 2. now my i-mate just hangs at the blue i-mate screen and i cant connect to it through pc anymore, get error 101. is there any way to get a good rom on it again (can i connect to the ppc by another way, other software or sd-card0 so it will work again, or does it have to be epaired at at a rapaircenter?

If all that happened was it hung during upgrade you can put the device into bootloader, power+d-pad+softreset button, and attempt upgrade again, but if OS you were upgrading to is corrupt causing the hang a new rom might be the way to go, www.buzzdev.net has everything i needed, or clubimate.com
I have same problem. My q-tec100 is reseting so I can' connect it to pc for flashing again. Please tel me what is bootloader and what is d-pad button so thad i can stop it from reset and connecting for flash

Have you tried the command "boot" in mtty?
If you had unbricked your phone and are trying to change the Rom, don't forget to use USPL. Tell us if it works (or not ^^')

MTTY have reboot your device? then its crashs or go back to bootloader? what roms have you try? what SPL version you see in bootloader?

i cant explane ... no rom in my OEM folder can flash your device without Hardspl or uspl is installed!!! you need MTTY and use command "boot" to start your os! then you flash again! if your OS partition is deleted with useing Task 32 ... you have a problem!!! your device has a FR CID ... only a original FR rom can flash your device and i havent see a original FR rom in the moment! this is why i collect them! this is in a lot errors the best way to fix!

Quick recap, I tried to install WM6 on a lower than 2.1 IPL/SPl so phone got stuck in boot screen, then i went to download an official WM5 rom from Tmobile, then I went into bootloader and successfully flash the official ROm. After flashing the official rom and multiple hard reset, phone is stuck on the bootscreen with the following info:
IPL 3.08
SPL 3.08.0000
GSM 02.69.21
OS 3.8.2.21
Am confused by the OS version isnt it meant to be 5.XXX because its a WM6.
Please.

Thanks for the reply I have downloaded the rescue kit and i have read the instruction, but the phone is not been connected in the bootloader mode even though i have the Xp usb driver connection. When I connect the usb cable after going into bootloader mode, the pc makes the usb connection sound but when when i run the Romupdate utility i get this error 260 connection error. What can I try again.

I have been able to successfully flash the phone again using the recovery kit but after flashing i took out the battery and powered up the phone, its still stuck at the boot screen with the same message.

has it gone beyond the point of no return.?

Hello! I purchased a HTC HD2 from ebay. it was working when i received it. Then i started to play wth it. Flashe with HSPL 2.08 and tried to install MIRI Rom and it Frozen durin update process. THen i tried to flash with other customs rom and the some poblem. it freezes on 5%...10%...55%..87%...every time different % it freezes. I tried then to flash with all other HSPL possible, also tried to flash using microSD and the same problem...then i tried to flash using Stock rom, and the same problem. Now i can start it just in boot mode. Anyone have a solution for me?

Have you unlokced the HSPL ? you have to flash the HSPL to the newest version. HSPL 2.08 HSPL.. unlocked status..otherwise, you will have some problem even it will become a dead phone.---brick one.

Here is what I did, I flashed using Goldcardtool with Y-cable, OMEGIMG.nbh. I think flash did not finished properly, it went too fast, phone rebooted to SPL , plugged in to PC used DFT_HSPL_WP7SG1_INSTALL, install finished OK , but when I boot up to HSPL mode it does NOT connect to PC.
(Using ROMUpdateUtility getting connection error (260))

Problem fixed. After HSPL install needed second time boot to USB Host mode and this time radio installed correctly. All good now, time for custom ROM
