I've been trying to get it to work for about a week now.
It's much cooler then the original camera from Prophet no need for a stylus to control the settings anymore.
it's working with my padviet 4.0.0.0.4 and am not shure if it works on other roms so feel free to try it out and see how it works
but be aware it installs like 5.9 mb on your phone and I just got it working so there are prob some bugs and might drain battary like the 4.03 version did.

This camera is fully compatable with the new PDAMOBIZ rom Fantastic Mobiz v2.0b4
The Fantastic Mobiz v2.0b4 rom uese more battary then padviet but when instaling the camera it does not increas battary drain because it is sharing most of the dll's with the other tousch apps.

Several have asked for change in oriantation I don't know if it is possable but will still try to find a solution. if seems logical why the oriantation is as it is. the version 4.03 witch is around here somwhere also for left handed control because its made for never devices with a sliding keybords that automatic change oriantation to left hand display when sliding out the keyboard. and the camera bottom of the ELF (HTC Touch) is also placed on the othere side.
after several tests with PDAMobiz touch rom I have come to the concluction that the camera is working as it should and no need for more developing.
I will uppload a version that is made specialy for the PDAMobiz touch rom. without dll's that are already inside the rom. but you can still use the beta2 one, as it only over writes the dll's and that will not affect the other apps that share the dll's.
I'll allso upload a version that has all the dll's that should work with all WM6 roms.

I will not nake any never version as of now. I'm insted working on a Prophet Touch rom with all of the HTC Touch stuff.
I will maybe make an update version of the Camera later on when I'm finished with the new rom ...... or maybe you will all just use my new rom

Nice Application.
But it slows down my Prophet hard.
I think not everything from the Touch ist good for the Prophet.
Most of the aplications kost a lot of preformance.
I like the new htc camera soft, but the drain battery issue is a big problem
Anyway, I will try the cab to experiment if it solves the problem

Nice camera software, thanks for sharing and your hard work, but I think in my opinion the original one is still better than cool camera or this one, but the problem is there is a limit on recording video on the 2G sd card, this one don't have. Also this one don't save as bmp, the original camera software can set to 1m(BMP) which gives a better picture quality than 2M jpeg.
How to I install the original camera software again? do I just uninstall this one.

Thank you for that ! On the v2 I think the backlight is the reason of battery drain, with low backlight in windows I lost 1% in 2 hours but 1% in 5min of camera (the older or this beta, consumption is the same). So Very good application here and, of course, no ROM slow down.

I've just noticed another problem... I set it to save files to my Storage Card, but it's putting them in a different folder: "/Storage Card/DCIM/100MEDIA" - My Digital Camera does this too.
But it should be saving pictures to "/Storage Card/My Documents/My Photos"

I've noticed that too but within the regestry I've set it to store in "My Photos and My Videos" my guess is that I've have to take a look inside the exe file and see whats there

I was thinking the same thing when I saw those Icons...

That's most likely temporary, will jump on the first WM 6.5 Rom that comes in WWE.

First Impressions so far (6 hours usage):
- Battery seems fixed, one day of normal work yet to come ... but only 5% lost during 2 hours while going out an showing around.

- boots f***ing fast
- (old) Google Maps integrated. Don't get it, new version available for at least a month, Latitude available for 2-3 days
- Manila behaves really good. Never use it, but before customization i usually scroll a bit around and this time i really considered keeping it.
Besides: The ugly WAP-Symbol for Internet disappeared at last.
- Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G working as usual. V14 had an error where "Add new device" in BT sometimes was second in the list (ok, no real bug)
- colored icons are nice, i think the connection-strength-symbols for 3G, GPRS and EDGE are a bit out of place.
Bugs so far:
- Opera Browser spoofs User Agent now, so you cannot download new google maps. Tried to disable "spoof user agent" in opera:config, but no success so far
- In Opera: If you press Sym on the keyboard once the screen "flickers" somehow and the text-selector disappears. Pressed twice the menu shows up, but you have nothing selected so it gets inserted nowhere...
I will try to reinstall opera by cab
- SIP: sometimes even if you have disabled automatic word suggestions it comes up nevertheless
Nothing else so far, tested mails, AS, some games, installed Resco, MortPlayer, ... beautiful ROM so far, even though i'd like a more cleaner rom (no PSShutdown, Google Maps, Icons, ...).

Open some window, for example, messaging and slide out keyboard. Does it hide this window?
Hmz this version keeps crashing if i cald some 1,or they call me.
If i hang up the conversation tf3d hangs.
And yes i did a hard reset before and after flashing

install switch off GPRS (disable this function), your PPC 'll be fine.

Was intrigued by the minimalist approach so downloaded your ROM last night in addition to a mediumist (Surface) and a maximalist load (eNRGy). Ran them all and they were ok and pretty. But oh so slow. Installed yours last and it was fast and stable. I do add for my own tastes, mostly SPB Mobile Shell (3.0.1) and Skin Changer (4.1.3), but thats about all in the nice-to-have category. Your build is in the same vein as Da_G and Monx (whose ROMs I have been using for years and whom I think the world of; but who seems to be easing out of the ROM Chef business probably because of all the crap that folks demand of chefs.) They are fast and stable people and not so much into adding the kitchen sink. Well done and thanks.

Green theme by the talented Mobile Matt, still in production though! Should be right for you though!
Where's the screenshots?! I wanna see it. Sounds exactly how I build my ROMs except I install Volume Control, HTC X-Button, Notification Manager, and the latest Google Maps (always handy).
The Notification Manager isn't a big deal if you use the CHome homescreen, but it is very handy for Dismissing all the notifications at once (like Missed Calls and Voicemails). I like it personally because it prevents the ugly popups when you accidentally tap a taskbar icon.
Volume control is a must but has it's issues with the default dialer. I'll either hard-code the reg key for the in-call volume so it is turned all the way up or I will just install the HTC PhoneCanvas dialer. Lately I have been using the Tachi dialer but it has lots of issues. Personally the official 5.11 Slide-To-Answer dialer works great. Or you could update the Default dialer skin which helps alot. I've tried several methods and all work pretty well.

I love this - I just love it. SO fast compared to the so called 'fast' roms out there. Of course it's fast, there's little on it. But that's the little I need
Now, that being said, are there alternatives similar in concept out there? I'd love to try out a few minimal roms.
Really like the ROM.. But I've got one question: Can't run Worms World Party.. Any idea what might be a solution...?? On other ROM's it works perfectly.. Really want it to work with this ROM..

Hi, any new update in future?. Your ROM is the best just don't forget MSN Weather+Stocks and HTC Audio player/manager next Time.
Ok I've been using this for a month now, so I thought I'd post a review:
1) it's fast. It's very very fast. It's faster than anything I've ever tried on my HTC. Boot times, application load time, etc. Very fast.
2) it's bare. Very bare. In fact it's empty. Yet, for the purist like me, it can never be too empty. I'll be the judge of what gets installed or not, thank you very much.
3) load opera, gmaps and skyfire and you got yourself a very decent pseudo-MID. I don't use it for anything else, but I use these three very heavily, and this rom handled it very well indeed. Shame that the GPS on the HTC touch pro is not working as intented -but that's not this ROM's fault.
Now... how about an update? Latest drivers perhaps? An update is what we need.

I forgott to add my XML to this CAB so this bug is totally removed in the upcoming 2.0 (will have the AutoRun feature as well)! The next ROM will come by tomorrow, so don't play any longer with the actual release but any Bug reports would be nice!

Well, it's hard to make a decision for my Prophet. I like the theme from the Titanium rom, but i also like some of your stuff, which is cooked in your rom. And of course, a German rom isn't such a bad thing for a German!
1. But, will it be possible to change the theme? Without icons and so on, the standard windows style looks a bit borring.
2. Is there any way, to use a bigger keypad like that from the HTC Touch Diamand (or roms from the Elf/in)? I'm searching some days for these. A finger friendly one would be amazing!
3. Is there a way to choose applications like TomTom 6 or Solitaire on WM6.5 home screen?
4. What can you say about the performence from M2D on Windows Mobile 6.5? By know, it looks way easier to work with, but there are although things I like on Microsofts new system.

Yes, it's possible! But be sure that you're activating a true WM6.5 theme, the themes from WM6.1 and below aren't changing the whole interface with the new Look'n'Feel of WM6.5! If you're using such an old theme, you will see the old style everywhere!

Haven't tried M2D on it but the perfomance is way better than I ever thought! It's much faster in most ways then my Diamond with it's double-sized RAM and 528 Mhz CPU!

Problem with Bluetooth Connection

I've just flash my Neo with your Clean Green ROM. So far I love It .
I've only one Problem I can't Fix by now.
I start Bluetooth with the CommManger, go to "Einstellungen" "Neues Gerät hinzufügen"
then the Error Message "Bluetooth Hardwarefehler" shows up.
Any hint how to fix that ?

Yes I used the 1.5 keyboard because the new 2.1 I or someone else need to get working forgot to mention it in first post I have also uploaded roms for Polaris and kaiser at the same time so somethings get lost in info

Great work mate. I tried your rom and found problem:
1. Touchscreen when using stylus is slow (some times work after tap several time)
2. Automatic 3G setting doesn't working. I tried several rom before, all of them will automatically set 3G on first use. Any solution for this one. I can't use my NIKI for internet
Keep up the good work. And by the way, I really love the new mega keyboard. Please implement it on next release.

2 little problems:
1. it doesnt flash the first boot screen (would be great if you could could provide a seperate ruu for the bootscreans)
2, everytime i install the wm7 titanium cab it hard resets the device...
Solved my hardreset problem. had nothing to do with your rom. Sorry for that. But i found some other things you might work on...
As i saw you tried to make xdaShutdown the default longpresspowerkey app. that didnt work. it executes the standard "Power Off - Do you want to turn off your device? Yes / No" thing.
It would be really great if you could tidy up the /windows directory. it seems to be full of lnk's to programs that are not installed (for example _IAgenda, iASetting, etc.). I know it's not a mayor issue but it would raise the comfort for users...
M2DC is not installed. Why? As far as i can see it works with the new manila.
The mentioned problem with using the stylus... it happens for example when your in the fileexplorer and there are more items than fit on one page. I have to hold the stylus down for quite a while to select an item. makes double clicking (for example in Total Comander) impossible.
It's stopping
my phone is having some strage freezes.
after some minutes it stops and frezes. The only way to get him back is to remove he batery. But then he hasks for the calibration and everything i configured and instlled is gone. The only thing that stays the same is the date.
Right now and for the last 10 minutes hi's in the 1st screen with the radio version.

if the device is already in silent or vibrate profile the application won't change the profile to prevent unexpected results .
did you test other gsensor apps? did your tried other roms?

Flip2Mute works on Flip the face down only. It can't switch back to normal mode if the phone was face up from down!

no, it can change back the profile to normal. just hold the phone faced up for a few seconds and you'll feel 2 very short vibration feedbacks (25 ms) that shows it changed the profile.
would it be possible to combine the Flip2Mute with proximity/light sensor, so the vibration is activated every time the phone is put into pocket?

Thanks for the excellent application... I have been missing this feature for so long now after my touch pro I used srcgprofile for face down mute but it was not compatible with tp2 and caused manila music player songs to break for few seconds while playback. I have to test this application while playing songs via manila music player if it breaks the sound and will report back.
Again thanks for making such a usefull utility for which I have been flamed in different threads for requesting to include this function in most recent thread i got flamed is screenchange.

have you performed a soft reset after installation?
Confirmed... working flawlessly on my tp2 and does what it says!... my rom rom details in my sig.
just noticed one thing after installation, when I turn my phn on in after putting it in pouch for awhile the camera was turned on.

It happened two times out of three when i put my phn in pouch and I didn't install anything else before or after installing f2m but let me just test it out some more as this doesn't turn on the screen or any extra battery drain so its harmless... and really does not matter much to me.
BTW could this be due to gsensor sdk? as camera also use same sdk.

yes, I think you're right. I'm not sure but you may want to update your rom to see if this problem fixes.
