mtty is made for HTC devices. Atom is made by Quanta. I've been looking for the same tool myself. have you tried putty? If I'm not mistaken, you are trying to reformat the DOC? or upgrade the device thru mtty?
I have looked into the things we can upgrade from SDCARD flashing, and DOC.IMG is one of the option. I think this will change the format of DOC. One way to get a copy of this DOC.IMG is to dump the ROM thru SDCard using buzz romdumper64.
Please let me know of your developments.
Phone in bootloader, i am try dump rom. if plug phone with USB mtty doesn't see phone. if use command 'r' phone write message Format DOC.OK
Sorry for my English.

Have you tried buzz grab_it ROM dumper? it worked perfectly well with the Atom. It dumped everything to SD Card. You just have to break it apart and identify the sections.
For the Atom:
diskimg.nb0
eboot.nb0
dm.nb0
flash.img
agent.mot
mot.mot
cpld.img
assetinf.img
extended.img
MDOC.img
what particularly interest me is MDOC.img because I believe we can change DOC format with this.
our device have 192 mb rom, i or Alex_beda try this dumper today
This dumper not working.

Your ROM chip size is 192MB. BUT I think, your ROM system size is only 64mb. Same as ATOM. The rest is only persistent storage, extended partition, and checksum partition.
to verify, you can pdocread the memory layout of your device. don't forget to install the RAPI before pdocread; otherwise, it will not work.
my ELF's mac address may be lost
every times, when my elf restart,
a document named HTCExcpthLog_mmdd_hhmmss.txt will be build in SDcard at \storage card\HtcLog\
mmdd_hhmmss is the restart time.

In attached file is the programm JFlashmm,
in the same directory BOOTLOADER from АТОМ ЕХЕС (ebo_a.nb0) from First Firmware,
and driver the giveio needed for working cable.
If you have O2 Atom (not ЕХЕС), it must be in the folder jflash_mm Deleted file ebo_a.nb0,
copyng the file boot.nb0 from O2 Atom firmware in the jflash_mm folder and renaming this file in ebo_a.nb0.
Before connecting LPT connector , you want to press and hold
micro button near to the sim connector.
http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc23/alex_beda/knopka.jpg
For example: sticker on the button.
Ground from LPT connector, connecting on ground the device
(using the crocodile connector)
http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc23/alex_beda/ground.jpg
Connect cable to LPT port of PC.
Connect charge to the device
Orange LED is blinking.
If LED not blinking,
Check pressed the micro button.
check fixation the button.
Installing the driver giveio from attached file.
Now you can restore BootLoader.
BootLoader needs to be restored in two places.
Need boot flashing to adress 0 and address 3f400.

Inside this file:
jflashmm pxa27x32 ebo_a.nb0 P 0 PAR
jflashmm pxa27x32 ebo_a.nb0 P 3F40000 PAR
So file ebo_a.nb0 (boot from атом exec) will be flashing in two places,
To adress 0 and adress 3f40000, data send to parallel port.
Execute start.bat, if all right , you correct making cable,
it must detect processor.
If message screen on "file *.DAT not find", press Soft Reset.

hey brother, i was in the same shoes as yours a few days ago.
had a dead bootloader since i upgraded using SD card...
there is a slight chance you can revive your atom this way (which i revived mine)
unplug the battery for a few days - then when you plug the battery in, observe the power light and the hangup button, see if it has a very quick red flash. if it does, you might be in luck.
now, hold the action button (circle button in the middle) and keep plugging and unplugging the battery in the atom. do the same on the power button and the camera button. mine worked with the action button, and it booted into the bootloader menu again!
now im flashing the original rom in the unit =)
How much can be explained?
My method is available for dead bootloader.
Absolutely dead bootloader.
(full erased, flashing the not correct file etc)

You message - offtop and flud.
Read forums.

You bootloader IS NOT DEAD!
If bootloader is dead, this programm is not correct (or no programm) in the ROM.

But your method apply for only not absolutely dead bootloader.
if bootloader is absolutely dead -
Not enter in bootloader.

It does not boot at all.Al that I get when I put it to wall charger is a ORANGE LED which even remains when I remove the Batt..
Soe time again it diapperars. In either cases the area near the USB tends to get very very HOT.
Sometimes I feel it will just bust because of this heat!!
Pls do reply
Seeing as that even the weakest PDA (like mine) runs a 200Mhz processor and the RAM isnt half bad. Would it be possible to run a stripped down version of XP or '98 on a PDA. I got the idea when I came across a compact usb version of XP. that runs straight out the flashdrive. Handy for recovery, etc. How big a leap would it be to port it to a PDA?
Edit: It works via emulation (slowly),work under way on an embedded version, but to keep us occupied in the meanwhile there a '95 and a '98 roms you can run from the storage card. Check post 21 (or thereabout)for instructions and files.
Coming across some interesting devices out there, if anybody has any detailed info please let me know. Link is HERE
I'm afraid it would be very big leap, as PDA processor is not x86 compatible, someone has to port it or create an emulator for it. And then new driver will be needed for the touch screen.
your 200 mhz cpu is able to emulate 386 sx 16(well, almost..) , and thats all about that...
no win lol.
Have you tried a little program called eXPerience? it'll be on google under 'Digital eXPerience' gives an XP look to your ppc, taskbar icons wallpaper etc ;-)

That's kind of cool actually. You could run windows 3.1(1) on it.
Supposedly you can run Windows 95/98 on a pocket pc. I never really had a good reason to try it.

Could this be something??

I think that the photos are only themes for windows mobile and you are able to put some shortcuts in pocketpc's "desktop" with wisbar advance desktop....
The start menu has been done with wisbar advance...
Nothing else...
Well - you might be right - or not. According to this: http://intimate.handhelds.org/screens.html you see and IPAQ running BOCHS - and it claims to be possible to run x86 OS...
I dont know if its true but I will try to digg deeper.
Lets seek the limits
Look at the picture....
It has been done with Wisbar Advance + Wisbar Advance Desktop......
Very Nice.....
Well, qemu is currently being ported to arm, and it's much faster than bochs, which is a bit outdated. It might not be very fast, but, who knows ?
Wait and see...
[ ignore this ,i deleted thing.. ]

Detalji OS-a:
- Modifikovan Shell
- Modifikovan Kernel32.dll

Double post dude, check your other post.
I had the same problem with a takeMS card 512 MB, after buying a san disk card with 1 GB i had no problems with flashing.
Got the same problem with my Sandisk 2GB.
After borrowing my friend's Sandisk 1GB, the flasing process runs smoothly, even though there's other files inside of it.
Just make sure there's enough space to make room for the temporary files ...
Problem solved !!! ))
I try'd a another microSD 1GB from a friend.
exactly like mine the same brand and in work't.
I don't know the reason why mine didn't work and frankly I don't even care any more since the other 1 work't. Maybe was faulty I suppose.
Hello,
I saw on a website someone has installed the Windows 11 on a Smartphone.
Think you is it possible to do it on the Surface RT ? It's the same architecture ARM.
So far there is no ARM32 builds of Win11, so no. Not yet, anyways. The smartphone had to have been ARM64/Aarch64, the Surfaces are ARM32.

No problem! Maybe it will be possible one day, only the future will be able to tell us.
I'm feelling ready to brick an RT Surface (1st Gen), to test Windows11. I don't know what is going to happen. But, who knows...?
And in my hands, have a Surface Pro 1st Gen wich, i think is an I5 Processor, 64-bit. At this equipment, i'm trying to restore/fix boot record. I've allready entered in recovery mode. But forgot to fix this problem, and now i need again to enter in recovery mode. But it allways enter in bios setup!

The RT just won't boot to Windows, only issue it'll have as there is for sure no 32bit or ARM32/Aarch32 builds, only WinPE is 32bit (you could recover it). As for your Pro 1st gen, it'll be fine. Just be sure to bypass the TPM 2.0 thing.

Yup. Linux/FOSS for life
No, because windows RT used ARM 32, but windows 11 only support ARM64

Wait, do you think I asked what CPU the keys work on? My bad if so, was asking if you installed Windows on an ARM64 or ARM32 CPU
