"Remember to add your Carrier CAB after loading!! (well if you have data service anyways)
Link to dcd1182 Carriers cab's.. Thanks dcd..
DCD Carriers CABs"
I try with Verizon and sprint cab, but only happens the same, i check my epsc configuration with another phone and my dates are ok, any suggestion??
Who do you pay for your service?
I Can Pay with cards , the company name is Movilnet
Anyone can help me? or any idea? i really need use the EVDO service again, ther are other bugs in this ROMS i can't send files by bluethoot and Beam Neither.
Well, unfortunately, I do not have a good answer for you. DCD has never (as far as I can read through the forums) gotten his hands on a ROM from Movilnet. Since he hasn't gotten a ROM from them, he has not had a way of making a carrier cab for them. The only chance you have now is to hope and pray someone here has a Movilnet carrier cab. If they do not, you might have to return to the place you bought the phone and have them flash it back to the prebuilt carrier ROM. Then you will be able to extract the needed information for the carrier before overwriting it with a custom ROM.
Good luck!
hey guys, please i need some answers, will any ROM built for mogul work on the Cricket wireless network with addition of carrier cab and necessary setting? thanks.
Hey xda'ers.
So I made the mistake of flashing Modoco's custom ROM to my Hero, without first writing down the APN settings in the Telus ROM. Now, I have no HSPA connection and no APN in my phone.
Would someone be so kind as to post all the APN settings from their Telus HTC Hero?
Much appreciated.
EDIT: Alright, I called Telus. Apparently it's some real easy APN settings. All you need to fill in in your APN is the actual "APN" field as:
sp.telus.com
Name it whatever you want. Done. Got my data back. Hopefully this helps people in the future.

So I upgraded from the Titan to the Titan 2. Both are unlocked on Telus for use here in Toronto.
On the Titan 2 trying to run the HTC Connection app fails. On my original Titan it configures fine. On my Titan 2 MMS fails and group texting. On my original Titan it works fine.
I feel that essentially they are the same phone so it should work on both unless there are hardware changes be. I took out my sim card to test these functions and it just doesn't make sense. And why would the Titan 2 not recognise my carrier while the original Titan would?
APP "connection setup" does not work on Titan II
APP "connection setup" can run well on a Titan to fix MMS problem, but it does not work on Titan II. It shows Carrier does not exist in database. Do anyone know how to fix it? Or we can only wait for HTC update this APP?
BTW, I unlocked my phone using code to use a non ATT sim.

Glad to know it's not just my phone only having this issue. I'm wondering if we should call HTC on this one?
Is there any way to manually configure the APN setting? I will be getting a Titan 2 for use in UK and would love to know how to get around this.
Yes you can manually configure the APN but those settings are very limited in comparison to Android phones. There is no seperate settings for data and MMS.
Btw, I called HTC support. They are unaware of the issue. They found it strange and were unable to help me. I asked for the protocol to escalate the issue to ensure HTC is made aware of it and he asked me to send an email through support so I have. I guess we'll see what happens.

WP7 sets your settings APN DATA/MMS on the first start (after a factory reset). If you have a known common carrier then the settings are loaded automatically, but if you had AT&T and then unlocked and simply swapped sims (obviously everybody does) the titan or for that matter any wp7 phone does not change the MMS settings.
"Automatic Data Configuration" is run on the first-run then disabled until the next factory reset.
After reading up on the Titan2 and experiencing the difficulty to get MMS working on a non at&t sim-card, I have come to the conclusion that it cannot be done, Is there a way to flash a stock unbranded ROM for the Titan2 to enable the connection set-up to work? Does a stock ROM even exist? Or could a Titan ROM work on the Titan2? I don't need 4G or LTE, Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance.
Received a reply from HTC UK today, Not good news, Looks like I will be getting rid of the Titan2, Damn shame as I preferred it to the Titan
Dear Andy,
Thank you for your email regarding your HTC Titan II.
My name is David and I am a Technical Support Agent for the HTC Written Team.
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing some difficulties setting up your MMS settings for the O2 network on your phone.
I understand that this phone was originally branded to the been branded to the At&T network. I believe the reason you are unable to change the MMS settings on your phone is because your phone was originally branded to the At&T network. Phones that are branded (locked) to specific networks usually have their operating system (Windows) slightly customised to that particular network. This would include the MMS settings as well. Because the phone is unlocked, you will be able to use any other other SIM card to make calls and send SMS messages. However, unlocking the phone does not neccessarily override the pre-installed MMS settings.
In that case Andy, it may not be possible to change the MMS settings on this phone.
Please contact HTC US for further support on this issue as HTC UK does not support this phone.
I do apologise for the inconvenience this may be causing you.
