Does this rw6828 still haf some chance?

Hi,
I'm a hp rw6828 user and is very much enthusiast to try out those wm6 roms made by those experts. However, i did a mistake while trying to flash.
I tried flashing with a rom from wantat but i forgotten to delete the EBOOT.nb0 before i clicked "upgrade". Then the program stopped at 6% for a long time and didnt move. I disconnect the cables and tried to turn the device on.
THe device can go into the wm6 and the start button can be use but the screen is "moved" to the right side and other function is not working.
After that, i did a hard reset and the the os seem to work like normal. However, when i tried to go into bootloader mode by pressing both "_" and soft reset. That didnt work. I tried another way by taking out the batt, leave it for a 10mins, press both "_" and soft reset, put in batt, release soft reset then "_" keys. That didn't work either.
But, just lately, i've tried taking out batt, holding the camera key and softreset, place back batt, release soft reset n camera button. This method works and i get what it seems to be an atom bootloader?
i get a black background with "MN1 Bootloader Mar 29 2006 13;52;14 copyright..... 1) debug module through UART 2) jump to DM Enter your selection.
Can someone help me? I'm not sure what i'm facing and what to do? All you help is much appreciated. THank you.

Can't flash custom rom

Hi all.
Really need some help here. I'm trying to flash ROM with Medkit wm 6.1 but I'm falling over at the first hurdle - I am not able to enter bootloader mode.
I've tried these key combos:
camera+reset - release reset and keep camera button held
camera+vrecord+reset - released reset and kept other buttons held
power+reset - this flashes the rom but with standard factory ROM
and pretty much every other possible key combo
As I understand it it's cameria+reset that is supposed to be the correct way of getting into bootloader mode.
BTW, I'm using a FAT formatted 256MB SD card and have copied the AL1.dio and boot directory int the root dir of the card (as per medkit's instructions)
Oh, and my Atom is an MWG Life.
Where am I going wrong?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

actually the right way for your atom life is Record (hold) + reset -> realease reset, it'll enter bootloader mode

Did that as well, still cant seem to enter bootloader. It will just perform a normal reset. Does this mean my bootloader is corrupted?
got it already. I actually need to keep holding the record button while releasing the reset button. else it will just does a normal reset

Cant get to bootloader mode by camera+reset?

I cant get to bootloader mode by camera+reset.
all my o2 atom life does is soft reboot then start wm again.
i've alrdy tried hard reboot and reflashing to the original rom from o2.
help?
Nevermind, i found out that its supposed to be the voicerecord button, not camera button, and the usb has to be plugged in b4 reset.

PLEASE HELP, can't unlock Niki to flash

Hi All,
I need some help please. I am trying to help a friend who set a password on his Niki and then lost the password (or it seems that it just does not take the password that he thinks he set). When I switch on the phone, it brings up a number pad to enter the password but I don't know the password and the one he gave me does not work.
I tried a hard reset but it does not clear the password.
I tried to flash a new ROM but it fails because I need to flash uSPL or hard SPL first. The problem is, to flash uSPL I need to copy SSPL onto the phone and run it which I can't do without the password.
How can I solve this problem and flash the phone to get rid of the password? Is there a uSPL for the Niki which does not require the SSPL to have been run on the phone?
Thanks for the help!
Shut down the phone, press and hold green (call) and red (hangup) buttons, then press power while holding them, you'll be prompted to hard reset the device (this will erase all his data from the phone), press green key again and it should delete it all, including the password.
Thanx a lot!
He told me the manual said to press the green and red buttons and then use the stylus to press the reset button next to the USB which I tried to no avail but your instructions worked.
