Request: Skydrive 25GB Free Cloud Storage App

Hi all, not sure if this is the right forum for such a topic, please let me know if this should go elsewhere.
Microsoft's SkyDrive offers 25GB of free cloud storage and has recently combined it with their Live! services (MSN, etc). Would it be possible to get a WinMo App that allows for uploading/downloading of files via SkyDrive? The official Microsoft Windows Live! client doesn't do this, it's basically an MSN client.
The app I had in mind would be along the likes of DroppedBoxx which works on DropBox, or EverNote. The benefit would be that SkyDrive is 25GB storage, FREE, without restrictions. I believe this is much more than DropBox (2GB free) and EverNote (500MB upload monthly free) offer.
If anyone has any program or any link that could guide me in the direction of a Sky Drive app, that would be great.
Thanks!
That is a fantastic idea since it integrates well into the Windows Live ecosystem.
I just wanted to add that Microsoft's up and coming Live Sync (also free) is much more similar to DropBox than SkyDrive.
EDIT: Live Sync was formerly known as Live Mesh
bump in case anyone has any leads.
I agree, good idea!

[sarcasim] Any coment you like, just put it here. [/sarcasim]
bump.
I totally support that idea, it's a great service and having an app for this would be great, I wonder why microsoft haven't included this in Windows Live Mobile
Fantastic i'm new here and was looking for WinMo App that allows for uploading -downloading of files via SkyDrive
bump for visibility, anyone??
You can upload the files to MyPhone, then transfer them to your linked Skydrive account (then delete them from MyPhone to preserve the limited space).

I know this is gonna sound silly but....

Do you all share drop box w each other to share apk's and other files? I have shared mine w someone on android central to get some apk's.
I wouldn't share my dropbox account info with anyone. If I need to share files I use the public folder. If I need to get files from someone then they share them with me the same way.
I would definitely make sure you don't have any personal information in any documents that may be in your dropbox account.

If you're talking about sharing paid apps or other warez or copyrighted content, that is strictly prohibited by forum rules. Otherwise, I believe sharing is pretty free around here.
Dropbox has a "public" directory that you can point people to as well as private shared directories that only those you designate via their email addresses can access.

[Q] Share file via ftp with direct link/qrcode

Anyone know a ftp server or any other protocol, that you can share a direct link to the file? Awesome if they already generate the qrcode. If not it's ok too.
I know that can be made manually: I start the server, browse in my own files through ftp, grab the link, make a qrcode to this link and them show to the other android. A very long history.
The perfect history is: 'share to' > that-app-Im-searching (they start the ftp server and generate the qrcode) > show the code to the other Android. After the transfer I can manually stop the ftp server or they auto disable when the connection is closed.
My idea is use WiFi (tether or direct) to *push/beam* files to the other phone, like Bluetooth, but faster, without NFC enabled phones or proprietary WiFi share app from Samsung, that not work/have in mostly other phones.

[Q] Servers Ultimate APP questions

Some of you may already know about this app which lets you turn your Android device into one of many different types of servers. I am very interested in this, but am not sure of which type of server I should be using.
Could someone knowledgeable give a brief description of what each type of server would be used for?
I am personally wanting to run this on my HTC EVO 4G at home so that I can access things at any time from any computer. I am not sure which server that would be though.
It runs:
DLNA
DNS
Dynamic DNS updater
Email Server
FTP server
IRC Server
Proxy Server
SMS Gateway
Socks Server
SSH Server
Telnet Server
Test Server
Time Server
Web Server
WebDAV Server
Thanks for the info.

[Q] Looking for a torrent client with RSS capabilities

I've searched the web quite a few times but I could never find an Android torrent app which is able to subscribe to RSS feeds and automatically download once a new item is pushed in the feed. Does anyone know of such a torrent application?
Try ttorrent Pro.
