Sprint Music for DCD 2.x.x ROMS - Mogul, XV6800 ROM Development

I was wondering if someone has extracted and/or if there might be a new ROM that has the Sprint Music by Groove Mobile. I think it will also need the "e" java application launcher as well. Any Help? Thanks!

You can find the Java app Here
You can find the music store here

Cabs for Sprint Moguls?

Hey all. I've got a coworker that's extremely jealous of all the fine toys that you can load onto the ATT 8525, and the poor bastard has a Sprint Mogul.
I've been digging through the forums here (yes, I also checked the Wiki!), and it doesn't seem like there's much out there for the Titan, and especially Sprint phones.
My question is - will the 8525 cabs like HTC Home work on the Mogul? iContact? And is there a base Sprint ROM out there?
yes they will i am running them on my mogul. You can get the newest sprint rom from htc website.
I suggest you rom either dcd dcd's titan ROM 3.3.4 rom or The Round 4 Reloaded rom which is the one i am running right now is i am very happy with it
* please make sure you follow the wiki on how to flash your phone when flashing your roms if you haven't done it before
I suggest doing searches on some of the following programs:
Skyfire Web Browser
Sprint Picture Mail
HTC Audio Manager Today Plugin
TCPMP (for youtube and expanding media format capabilities)
S2U2 (iphone style lock/unlock)
PocketCM contacts list (for finger frendly scrolling)
QuickMenu (for start menu replacement)
C-apisro (serius and xm radio player)
I-nigma barcode reader (make barcodes to access websites you program to them.)
Mito Team Paint (drawing board)
mToday (to add a second today screen)
MyCalculator
MyMobiler (see your phone's today screen and control it from your desktop.)
NFL Mobile Live
Oxios memory (frees up program memory)
pm clean (performs a quick clean of temp info)
Pocket Uno
SetVolume (finger frendly volume adjustments)
fpsece (playstation emulator)
PhatFinger WeatherPanel (cool weather app)
Skunkworks FlashVideoBundle (needed for flash video playback)
LogMeIn remote access (control your home computer from your phone)
HTC Streaming media (for mobile youtube videos)
Settings+ (expand your phone settings options)
Yahoo Go
SprintTV
Bluehoo (see people info over bluetooth from phone-to-phone)
Slingbox (stream your cable tv connection over the internet to your phone.)
Hope that will give you some ideas.

I think that you're not alone in this search... it sounds like the holy graal quest in windows mobile... as I've read this asking thing in many french forums.
as far as I know, it doesn't exist this software for windows mobile. And as it's not possible to use iphone or androïd's applications on winmo...
But you can try with "Voice Twister" of "Screaming Bee"...
Voice Twister is the first professional application that gives you the power to morph your voice on a Windows Mobile device.
Voice Twister is the first professional software that gives you the power to morph your voice on a Windows Mobile device.
The easy to use voice selection will have your friends and family laughing as your voice is converted to a Space Squirrel, or your kids are talking like a Giant at story time. Choose from the many preset voices, or you can use Tweak and Speak to change the pitch and add an effect, creating a unique voice of your own.
In addition to live voice changing, Voice Twister can play an existing audio file in the morphed voice, and save it to a new file. You can also record and save your live voice for play back later.
NOTE: Voice Twister is not designed to use during a phone call and cannot morph your voice within a phone call.
Here are some key features of "Voice Twister":
· Live morphing using Push-To-Talk (like a walkie-talkie) or if you have a headset, real-time morphing as you speak.
· Record your morphed voice to a wave file for later use.
· Morph and play an uncompressed wave file and optionally save it to a new file.

thanks
thanks for ur kindly information dude..
really this is problem when it comes to games and application on windows mobile....
the developers like gameloft etc. not make games for wm...
take android or iphone for such app.
I mean howmany good gui supported games for windows mobile?
even we cannot have such good games for our motion sensor supported...
What are you talking about? Gameloft makes a ton of games for Pocket PC. As does EA Mobile. The Java versions for feature phones will also work via a MIDP compliant Java VM like phoneME. They are mostly sold via your carrier's WAP store, though. I guess that is what you meant. And yeah, they are difficult to get if your carrier doesn't sell them and there are no trials available to see if they are worth purchasing. Though, I guess things can also be found via Google. I haven't really tried.

Stock HTC (Sense) apps on AOSP builds?

So while I don't like the Sense launcher and the over abundance of... stuff. I have come to rather like the Sense Email app as it actually forwards email attachments where the AOSP Email does not.
I did a simple copy of an early Gingerbread HTC email apk and that didn't play nice at all could not install it with Root Explorer or adb (what few tricks I know).
Anyone have any tips?
Edit: Further learning (adb -d install blahblah), says that I'm missing a library, how can I find out what library I am missing?
Edit 2: Increased googlefu has found threads on other forums of XDA that says the Sense programs require the Sense frame work, so I basically need a De-Sensed Sense ROM as I prefer ADW by far for my launcher...
But I still hope someone has a solution for putting a Sense email client on AOSP ROMs.

not possible. sorry.
Yeah..not possible. It's sad...I really like the Sense dialer (type numbers and contacts Names and numbers are searched). And yes, I know 3rd party apps exist that do this...but they're unattractive and buggy

App that needs modifying

i have a few apps that i would like on my transformer prime that are on my samsung galaxy s2
is it possible to have these modified to work on the prime as they are set to use the samsung framework
if i have posted this in the wrong section, please move to the correct one
need more details. Like what apps are you talking about?
task manager - i know there tons on the market, the one on the galaxy is one of the best i've seen
video maker
voice command
voice talk
Not if these apps are part of Touchwiz. Those are specific to the Samsung Android MOD installed on Samsung devices. Doubt those will come over unless you can find a hacked Touchwiz mod for the Prime.
If you are talking about apps in the market (not seen any specific to Samsung though) then you could contact the developer.
However, a list of apps would be helpful.

Yep those are all Touchwiz. Those are baked into Samsung's version of Android and you will not get them onto the Prime without hacking Touchwiz mod onto the Prime. Not worth it if you ask me.
For your task manager (which Android doesn't need), you can use OS Monitor. They have a nice tablet version that works great on Prime. Does more than just tasks with a log and network watcher. Great to know which apps makes connections and to where.
Voice Talk is basically Vlingo, so you could just use that. The UI might be different but its the same product. Voice Talk is just Samsung branded.
Voice Command should be built in. Once again the UI would be different but Android has voice commands built it.
Video Maker you are on your own as I have never done video editing on the phone.
Good luck!
Nop, not gonna work for task manager and video maker, those are linked to samsung's framework.
You can get voicetalk on the market, it's called Vlingo
for task manager - i downloaded OS Monitor
for video maker - the movie studio app installed on the prime by default will do the trick
for voice command and voice talk - i downloaded vlingo
thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions
now if only i can get my desktop sorted - see my other post

Help Extracting Built-in app in Launcher

Hi everyone,
I hope someone who's knowledgable in modifying APK can help me. I bought an android headunit and I would like to use a different launcher than the stock one. Unfortunately if I use a different launcher the app icon for AV IN is not available on the 3rd party launcher. Only bluetooth menu and other apps are available. When I open about app info for AV In and bluetooth and launcher, they have the same apk file name. Is it possible to extract the AV IN app part of the apk and make an indepedent apk for that.
Any help is much appreciated, regards.
