I went with 2.10 for Rev A, GPS and stability. I know there are newer ROMs but I've heard they have issues. Which browser is the fastest and most stable of the ones out now? The stock 2.10 PIE? PIE 2.2+? Opera 4 Beta 2 with Jbed? I'm thinking Opera, but waiting for more knowledgeable answers. Thanks.
The new Netfront 3.5 beta or Opera 8.5.
Opera 8.5 is a PC based browser. Opera mini 4 is the latest mobile version. I will say Opera Mini 4 is the fastest and smoothest but you cant watch vids or anything of the sort.

I believe he meant to say Opera Mobile 8.65. That is a pocket PC browser. Opera mini is a java program. Opera Mobile is a full pocket pc program and is what I use.

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone else had tried the new YouTube Mobile web site, as it seems to be a huge improvement and seems pretty neat
However, it doesn't seem to be working in my current browser. I'm on Opera 9.7 & NRGZ28 July 3 ROM
This is the new site: Video 1 Video 2
Instead I get the old mobile site, which my Desktop browser also displays when you type http://m.youtube.com
Any thoughts/ideas why this might be?
Both of the links say that it is for android and iphone.
reason is html5
hi, you cannot see the latest youtube mobile site in full because it is designed for browsers that support HTML5 protocol. Only android browser and safari support html5 for now.
Opera (both mobile and desktop) support HTML 5 to some extent but not fully, yet. Development is in progress though
Internet explorer also does not support HTML5 yet
Current browsers mostly rely on Flash to display videos
I am using the Nexus One user agent and the website still doesn't work before anyone tries that route. It is seriously busted on 9.7
Nintendo wii uses opera browser if we use opera browser can we get net flix if so I'll subscribe

Doesn't matter which browser you use, Netflix doesn't work on Vibrant. You'll have to wait for the official app to be released.
Netflix is silverlight not flash and we dont have silverlight support.
At least thats start someone told me
i was wondering why FIREFOX does not support for ACE [even with Gingerbread]??
IS there any PORTED-FIREFOX version for ACE,i really love to use firefox on my mob?
There were a few betas available I think, but the firefox developers didn't go further developering for Armv6.
dolphin HD i cool , you should use it
Firefox is even on better devices quite slow, so i would recommend using an other browser like Dolphin or Opera instead.
opera mobile is the best
I searched and didn't see anyone mention it but I just tried m.opera.com/next and to my suprise opera mini 7.1 works fully. I'm on energy maxsense rom using the jbed java thats in that rom.
so looks like downloading files don't work. other than that it's fast and good.
Never tried as much prefer the full Opera 10 ninjaduck version as fully functional & I need download PDF files etc.
I just figured it's much newer than opera 10 so more compatible for some sites. mini 5.1 is equel to opera 10 so mini 7.1 = newer
it uses its own keyboard and I didn't like it, otherwise feels like using Opera Mini
you can turn off mini built in keyboard in advanced settings
