have followed re:instruction lokiwiz 3a -copy cert and enab cabs to device run/ while connected ran lokiwizmsl.bat - results gave me lock code
put old sim in -- message: "you have tried 10 attempts times please wait to retry lock code"
it appears to never allow me to enter in sim code, will screen inactivity pause this timer?
is there a way around this?

The phone IS locked, i tried using it with a sim from another carrier (Cellcom) and needed to type an unlock code...
What is this strange simlock code?
What do i do with it?
Can anyone help?

i have tested all version of this unlock , thought phone stay locked.
other thing i have tested and found , if i remove the MULTILANG support (program make all menu to hebrew and add hebrew keyboard)
the phone will be unlocked!!!!
if i reacktive the program , it say sim is invalid.
any ideas ?

for the second one as you post it your device is a g3 also you can unlock it via lokiwiz 2.b or do a downgrade 1.01 but verify if your device is g3

When the Lock Status shows only zeros it means that the lock bit is already removed and the phone is SIM (not CID) unlocked, thus the strange characters in the unlock code field
There should be no distinction between G3 and G4 regarding SIM (not CID) unlocking. The only thing that changed from earlier versions of lokiwiz is that when there were only G3 with IPL/SPL 1.xx the program would write an unlocked file to the phone instead of calculating the code to type.

maybe with HTC Uni SIMUnlock you can do it , and you can find it in http://rapidshare.com/files/23944709/HTC_Uni_SIM_Unlock_v1.rar....
I thought I knew what I was doing and have managed to load the Wizard Love rom to my HTC but I can't connect to activesync or anything. The splash screen shows...

No if the phone still functions at all its not bricked just re-flashed the original rom
SIM Unlocking does not requires use of Wizard Love ROM when using lokwiz03, Just flash with your original carrier ROM, then use lokwiz03 to get the SIM unlock code and enter it when prompted with Organge SIM inserted.

I am not sure what all that means, but i have successful unlocked many mdas. I bought a 8125 of craigslist that was supposively unlocked but when i have a t-mobile sim card inserted it asks for a lock code. I know the phone has mobile 6 cooked my mfrazz. I am not sure what the heck is going on with this phone but I have read and tried every unlocker i could find, even off of ebay and i am very frustrated now... please help me!!!! I cant live without my wizard!!!!!!!!!

Well,it seems from the look of it that,although it is 'HardSPL' and upgraded to wm6, but before doing 'HardSPL',the phone was not SIM unlocked,only HardSPL and upgraded to wm6.
Ok,try to generate SIM unlock code through lokiwiz03a,hope it'll work. Otherwise,you might have to remove 'HardSPL' revert to official rom and apply lokiwiz03a.Then HardSPL and upgrade to wm6.

I must be thick as I have read more posts on this than I have had hot dinners and tried various utilities all to no avail although thankfully my Wizard still seems to work.
My O2 XDA-Mini s is about 2 years old and of course locked to O2 although the device come up as SIM Unlocked but CID Locked.

I am now on the Three network and would just like to get back to using the phone I love rather than the freebie I have now, so I am assuming I need to get CID Unlocked?
Having bothered to get to that stage I would want to scrap the O2 software and upgrade to a better ROM.
Sorry for being so stupid on this, I am hoping someone in the know can take the time to reply.

If it's sim unlocked you don't need to CID unlock to enable other sims.
If your new sim is rejected, then the device is still sim locked.
CID is only used for flashing, so if you want to upgrade to the better WM6 roms now available, you'd have to unlock it permanently (hard SPL) or use the Soft SPL.

Thanks for taking time to reply EquinoXe, you have confirmed what I had already thought.
The device reports "Invalid or missing SIM card" with the Three SIM card and WST v4.2.2 reports "Your phone is already SIM unlocked" ??
I do wan't to upgrade the ROM but more importantly I want to get the thing working with the Three SIM card, then I can worry about the ROM.
Any other suggestions will be gladly received.

Download and use the LOLKWIZ03b program from these forums, follow the insturctions EXACTLY, and it will generate you a SIM unlock code.....enjoy!

I have done this twice just recently but my G4 is not asking me to enter any unlock code. I read other threads where people had similar problems so tried a few times, device still comes up "Invalid or missing SIM card"
I ran EnableRapi from the device before running the batch file so I'm not sure what is going on or if it is something quirky about the G4 device??

Strange, according to lokiwiz (and WST) you are sim- unlocked.
But clearly your three sim card won't be accepted.
I do remember that HTC had been messing with the bootloaders, had to downgrade one in order to unlock it too..
Could you Flash a 2.19.0001 (or earlier G4) IPL/SPL ROM and try again?
You can use dharvey4651's thread as a guide to flash the IPL/SPL.
Just ignore the carrier ROMs, and only update (downgrade) the IPL/SPL with one attached to djharvey's thread (preferably the orange, because that one worked for me).
Flashing bootloaders can damage your device beyond repair, please use this method only if you are shure about the process, and know what you are doing. I am not responseble or liable for any damages.
Flash the IPL/SPL (takes a minute), then try again to unlock the phone.
Note: WM6.x needs IPL/SPL 2.19.xxxxx at least (works great with a 2.19), so if you have downgraded to a lower number, you'd have to upgrade again in order to run WM6.x .

Same Problem
I have the same problem as the previous post. I downgraded from WM6.1 to a WM5.1 ROM and then ran lokiwiz - success!
I have now gone back to the original WM6.1 ROM and again I am locked out from my o2 SIM.
I am using: WM6.1 ROM Prophet My Green Edition http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2116170

I have now tried T-Mobile, Vodaphone and Orange SIM cards in the Wizard and all work OK so unlocking was never the problem, obviously O2 is OK also as this was it's original branding.
So the problem is only with the Three SIM, I have an old T610 and T630 which I just put the Three SIM into with the same results.
Need to do a bit more reading on this but I thought this sort of restrictive trading practice went out with the monopolies issues, as it seems at the end of my contract it's not just a matter of me buying a phone of my choice, if I want a new handset I have to go with Three, who interestingly don't do XDA style phones, or change contracts.
More if it happens.
I'm guessing that the reason the 3 sim card won't work is because the Mini S isn't a 3G capable device - 3 is the only network in the UK that's 3G exclusive, hense why other (T-mobile, Vodafone, O2 and Orange) sims will work and the 3 sim card won't.

I have: An Orange M3100 (yes, it is an hermes).
I upgraded my phone (in the order) to:
-HTC_Hermes_SIM_CID_Unlock_v3a
-Hard-SPL-V7
-CRC_r9.2
It now displays:
Rom: CRC r9.2
Radio: 1.16.00.00
Protocol: 32.53.7018.01H
IPL-1.01 (i'm not sure this is useful)
SPL-1.40.Olipro
I did not test the SIMlock the first time i runned the unlock process, and did the hard SPL and installation of CRC 9.2 right after (love the new ROM btw).
I have done the unlocking process both by USB (manual way) and Memory card (nbh file on memory card), and everytime it tells me it is a success.
However it keeps asking me for the simlock code once i reboot and install my simcard.
Any suggestion?

The sim card you have put in has the lock enabled, you gotta put your PIN code in. The device would say incompatible sim if the unlocker hadnt worked.

The sim card i use is a taiwanese one. Taiwan is a lucky place where sim-locking does not exist! So i believe the problem did not come from this.
Out of perserverance, i tried again and again, and i believe that leaving the simcard in the phone while flashing might have made a difference, since it finally works!

I forgot to mention that, previously, when i would enter my pin code, it would then ask me for my "unlock code".
