from what i understand then it cant zoom when the max reso is used
also digital zoom is pointless since it only does for you what any image editor can do later on

Can you tell me about your experience?
With the wm 6.5 roms my cameras don´t work in video call.
In camera mode the main camera works but I can´t switch to the front camera (the button to do so isn´t there).
note: I´ve allready upgraded the radio to 1.65.29.22

Hi all so i updated my phone to 2.3.4 through here KH3 firmware, and now if i use the camera it looks more like a vga camera than an 8megapixel (yes i have checked the settings its on 8) very grainy and unclear and worst of all when a photo is taken it lags then there is a black shutter and when u look at the pic after its very dark even in daylight or with flash whats going on. can someone please help me. Has this happened to anyone else?

today I found a problem with my new sk17i regarding the camera and the photo that I take.
The problem is: there is a pink-red stain in the middle of the photo when ther is a bit of light.
This problem appears only in daily light and cloudly light mode (and automatic mode obviously).
If I put on the fluorescent mode, the stain disappears.
I cannot attach a photo because im a new user >.<
Any advice?

SK17i is really buggy, and have sucking hardware
do you think it is a software or hardware problem?
no, really I think it's soft-bug because in fluorescent mode photo look good.
but this phone have too many problem
I hope SE would solve this bug with an update ._.

You could use a third party app to fix this problem or use adobe photoshop express and edit the photo from there.
This problem exist on all CM Roms like CM7, CM9, CM10.1... Why is that so? afaik only JB libs are missing but not ICS and GB
Try to put the scene mode on flourescent, the pics w/ Flash will back to normal, wo/ violet color, srry for my bad english
