Internal photos of Atom Life - iPAQ rw6828, XDA Atom ROM Development

Does anybody have or can take pictures of his Atom Life's mainboard?
There are no photos on google and I don't want to diassamble my device yet, because it's my only device (at least for now).
If anybody can take those photos I would be very gratefull (in macro mode and high resoultion). I need those for future improvements...

S4 Camera

One of the big selling points for me with this phone was the camera. I am finding the pictures to be a little underwhelming. I find that half the pictures I take are out of focus, and when i try to manually focus on a target, it zooms in and out trying to figure out the image, but ultimately ends with a red square and an out of focus image. I was really hoping for a smarter camera with better results. I dont remember ever having issues like this with my last phone (HTC Rezound). I use my camera a LOT (mostly taking pictures of my kids). Should I try downloading another camera from the app store? Anyone else experiencing these issues?
I should note that outdoor, long range pictures seem to come out much better than indoor relatively close (5-10 feet) shots.
Any tips/tricks as far as settings go?
Also, when I hook up the phone to my pc and view the pictures, they are all rotated to the left 90 degrees.

[Q] Superior Auto vs manual mode

I'm trying to figure out how to take the best possible photos with this phone, given the limitations of the camera and I can't seem to tell which mode is giving me the better photos. Anyone want to weigh in?
Superior Auto takes an 8mp image and crams it down into a 5, correct? Much like the Lumia 1020 does with the 41mp images (to 5) and the Z1 does with the 21mp images (to 8).
I noticed the file size is smaller. In manual mode, we obviously get more options, but we also get the full 8 mp shots. I have taken samples in both modes and they look pretty similar to me.
Which is better, in your opinion and which do you generally use?

In the older firmware superauto sucked bad and manual was the way to go, not played with auto since then. I also use 'a better camera' and fv-5

Not entirely correct. It takes a 16:9 aspect ratio at 5mp... (loss of top and bottom aspect) To get 8mp you'll need to have 4:3.
But blue is totally right. FV-5 is my choice of campera app. its slightly better than Sony's choice... and i'll always take anything better..

[Q] Picture and Video Quality

Hi all,
I'm concerned as pictures and video taken in a moderately lit room (but adequately lit) appear extremely grainy. I mean it is very poor. Pictures taken in broad daylight are kind of acceptable but still below par. Not that I bought this tablet for that reason but as my Samsung is acting up I have been using the tablet more, and to be frank the camera is very poor, I mean its like taking a picture and then but salt and pepper all over it ( at night but with lights on)
My question is how is everyone else experience with the picture and video quality night and day?

Yes, the camera quality is not so great.
But you could easily have known that BEFORE you bought the tablet (there are many reviews and user reports on this thing called "internet"...), and if you want a device with a really good camera, you could have bought another device. So don't complain now.
And it's known that it's absolutely typical for tablets to have worse cameras than smartphones. Get over it.
Picture quality is piss poor, no idea why they even bothered putting that one in at all. It doesn't even have a flash, so why did they think we need that camera? Exchanging the back with the front camera and scrapping the back one would've been much better, in my opinion, at least you can use the front camera for video chatting.
I don't know why on earth people would even want to take pictures with a big clumsy tablet

Photos?

I'd like to see some untouched photos taken with this phone with (if available) 100% JPEG quality, maximum resolution and both sunny and shady outdoor environments.
Photo quality is an important factor for my purchases.
Thanks in advance.
I only have some sunny enviroment photos, keep in mind these phozos were taken in the best conditions, but camera is not that great especially when it gets darker.
hopefully it will become better with the next update!
This is a link to the album with those pictures. http://imgur.com/a/C75zZ
Hope it helps!

Those photos actually show a lot to me.
Mainly that imgur.com is touching images: a 13 Mpx (3120x4160) as bright as yours can hardly weigh less than 1 MB.
If you have any opportunity to shoot in a darker environment (like indoor), please check the flash is off and the JPEG quality at the maximum.

Problem found in camera miui auto

After investigating a bit, I've seen that, when using the miui camera's auto, the phone does not take photos at slower speeds than 1 / 13s, and instead of shooting at 1 / 10s or more exposure, opts to pull ISO, reaching up to 102400, which makes grains like big fists.
All this generates horrible photos at night when the phone could take much better pictures.
In theory, the reason why it does not exceed 1 / 13s is because otherwise the photos would be blurry, but the optical stabilizer that has works well enough to be able to shoot photos up to 1s of exposure without the photo being trepidated or blurry (if you have a good pulse). This allows to lower the ISO to 800,1600 or 3200, which are much more normal figures.
If anyone knows how to develop apps and that, you could easily make a camera app much better than the one that currently exists. I do not know if in 4pda or in the forums of miui there will have been talk about this. The more people who know it, the greater the likelihood of solving this.
Nobody?
Did you try Google Camera?

Yes, I try it, and the same happens. If you take a picture in the darkness, the limit is 1/13s and 102400 ISO
