I have a strange problem!
I have changed a lot of custom ROMS.
Now I am pressing Record + Reset and I cannot entet Bootloader mode to upgrade!
Anyone have the same problem;

Hi guys,
my HD2 has a damaged volume down button, flashing with windows was no problem, but yesterday i tried a new Rom and now it doesnt boot up to WM. It is stuck in the white HTC screen. The problem could be easily solved if i managed to get into bootloader mode. But due to the broken Vol. button it´s impossible. My question: Is there any way to get into bootloader by software, like using MTTY? And how does that work?

Has anyone else had a problem with the power button on the device. I clicked on mine to get the screen on and now it seems to be not doing it as fast and if it does work, it will then switch off the whole phone and I will have to reboot it.
Wondering if anyone else had this problem.
can you enter bootloader ? flash it to a stock rom
if it dosent work, return your phone to the SAV
Hello! I don't know where i should post this since the UMI X3 device isn't on this site, so i just post it here...
I installed a custom rom, now it's bootlooping.
If i turn it on it will show the little boot splash screen, then the screen will go black and usually it would show the boot loading screen but it doesn't, it reboots again to the boot splash screen.
I tried searching on google, but none of the forum posts actually helped me.
I try to holds down the power button and the volume up button at the same time, but it will just do the same bootloop thing.
The home button is a touch button, and i actually already tried holding down on that but it didn't work.
I also tried holding power button and volume down, and i tried holding all the buttons down at once (power + volume up and down)... also no succes.
Now it used to work, i got into some chinese bootloader before i installed this rom.
So, basicly it won't get into any recovery. I did install clockworkmod recovery actually and it did work, yet i needed to launch it via mobile uncle tools to get into it. I think im totally ****ed now...
Pleace, is there ANY way to solve this problem?
Problem in a nutshell:
Boot looping splash screen, can't get into recovery mode. (PS: i also tried to connect it via USB but it won't find my phone...)

I'm now able to get into recovery mode!
However i can't mount usb.

I have the same problem after installing the cynogenmod, does your phone work now. How did you get in the recovery mode??

Hi,
After struggling with this issue all day i found a quite simple solution.
The cause of the bootloop in my case was the simcard. So this is what i did:
1. remove simcard tray
2. Turn the phone off and on
3. If everything is ok the bootloop stopped, if not try to reboot again
4. Download mobileuncle in the playstore
5. Open the app click on; into recovery mode
6. Recovery will open and then hopefully you made a backup.Restore it and voila!
If you did not make a back try to flash the official umi ROM.
I hope this solved your problem to.

After a successfull install my phone restarted. Now it's stuck at the Samsung Logo. I wanted to try to go into Download Mode, but my Volume Up Key doesn't work (To Confirm it) .
Now i ask you how to solve this problem. Is it possible to "press" keys in ADB? Or something like this??

EDIT: Solved by pressing the Volume Up Button really fu**ing hardcore (a few times). The button works now fine

Hello! I think you've got the wrong combination for download mode . To enter in download mode you need to press" vol - " "home" and "power"
My friend accidentally set his Redmi 3 Pro (MIUI 7.3) to easy mode and now it's locked in that settings. He's a noob about this so he asked my help. The only thing that I can access is camera. When I open the lockscreen there's nothing to show at home. Zero. Nada. He said it's okay to factory reset the device but frankly, I did not undertsand chinese in download mode and I literally find thread regarding it. Now, I've tried to flash it with fastboot rom or the global stable rom with MiFlash but it still not working. So, all I can ask is, how in the world can I fix this?
Also, the device is probably on locked bootloader. So yeah, it only worsen the situation.
I've been using this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzNTxRVF0pI and it got stuck on MiPhone when trying to flash the device. Apparently, his internal storage has only around 1GB (it is 32GB model and somehow he manage to fill it up smh) left due to massive game collection on his phone. Now, new problem arise. I need to factory reset the phone, without entering recovery mode due to it crashing for almost full memory. I can enter Fastboot mode (power + vol down) and Download mode (Power + Vol up + vol down)
Can anyone help me?
