I have flashed my cingular 3125 to a WM 6.1 ROM that has the sliding panels by Erofich (thank you for the wonderfull roms I have 2 Cingular 3125's) for some reason i cant install much of anything to it. i tried to install a neo theme "freddy shadow neo theme but it wont show up. it does work on the ROM with neo i installed on the other phone. I also tried WM 6.1 menu customation app and the WM 6.1 slide photo dialer...neither work. Is there something I need to do to get things to work? Thanks for any advice!

Till now there is no Wm 6.1 ROM for Charmer because there are problems. And in the wiki is written that the new Prophet ROMs doesn't work.
Because of this I asked.
Now I know: no it don't work.
I was able to install the ROM but it hangs at the HTC Logo.
I was wondering if I can flash my cingular 3125 with a shadow rom? I really like this JogDialConcept theme and I'm guessing it will only work for a shadow rom. I did try installing the theme on my phone but no changes were made to my appearance. This might also get the photo dialer to work for me. Will I brick my Cingular 3125 if I flash it to Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard for T-Mobile Shadow by EROFICH?
No.
No, you can't flash a ROM that isn't meant for your specific device. At best, nothing will work, and at worst you'll have a brick.

nope. The 2 stock Sprint TP ROMS are both WM 6.1
And the only device with Manila 2.5 stock is the HTC HD2, forget about that ever coming to sprint *sigh*

Nope, no cab for manila 2.5, must be cooked in.

I think he is asking for what I am looking for also, a rom with 6.5 and sense with the stock sprint aplications and files cooked into it, Im using vetvittos but some stuff is not working on sprint, but I love the interface.
theres already a thread about all of this HERE in that thread i posted a link to where you can download and install manila 2.1, its almost as good as manila 2.5/.6 and u still keep the sprint 2.01 rom which is what im on since i get a brick within 24 hours of flashing any of these cooked ROMS

I am looking for the least modified 6.5 rom for prophet, i tried a few but they were all heavily modified or there were too much programs preinstalled, or the worst either the camera or the wifi did not work, so i am trying to get as close as possible to the original stable rom.

Original ROM for Prophet is WM5 !!! no updates from htc.
Buy a new phone with WM6.5 if you want original WM6.5.
how do you cook ROMs in 6.5 then?? :S
I am in need of a WM 6.1 ROM for my Mega.
I have tested Blackberry connect in the Mega with WM 6.5 and there is no way it works so WM 6.1 is a must.

It is a must, anyway, I have spent my life with the stylus for the last 12 years and I hate to use my thumb otherwise I would have chosen a Iphone.

I experimentally backported the wm6.5 nk.exe for Whitestone which shipped with 6.5 to 21054. Use the oemxipkernel from 6.5 and the .ROM and .VM for 6.5 and the sys from wm6.1 DaG gave me those pointers. Many 6.5 oem pkgs may not work also so swap them for wm6.1 ones and use a wm6.1 htc scroll. I cannot get the gps detected/working (think call to ril for gps isn't coded to work on 6.1) but other than that its pretty speedy and all in all works much better than I thought.

I'd be intersted too, we use a program on our work pdas ( htc touch cruise)
its called infoanywhere nomadic client, which works fine on 6.1 but keeps slow polling on 6.5 roms ( HD2, Mega and diamond with a 6.5 rom)
Any news or does anyone know of a work round on nomadic client ?
