Yes correct... i also noticed the same thing. but instead of selecting "save as" option you can click top left "save" icon present on the screen while editing. this will save your changes in the same file you opened.

Are u editting file using polaris office by browse it through My files app? U must not do that as it will cause u not able to rewrite it later. Dont ask me why..cause i also dont know why..
So what i did is, i open the file direct using polaris ofice and browse the file from there. By doing so, then u can rewrite ur file.

Try Kingsoft office
I just use Google Drive
I usually do my word on my PC at home, save it and have it on the go on my phone.
Pretty handy
Documents to Go works really well and is very reliable. Plays nice with dropbox too if you are using files from there which is very important to me
Can I use anything else besides Visual Studio 2008 to develop applications for Windows Mobile 6.5?
I currently have VIsual Studio 2010, but I found out when I tried to install Windows Mobile 6.5 SDK that I can not use Visual Studio 2010 with WM6 development. This means I will have to get Visual Studio 2008 just to be able to do anything with WM.
However, can I use anything else becaise Visual Studio 2008? Possibly Eclipse or anything else that is free?
Yes, you need VS2008 for develop a WM6.x app...
VS2010 only build WindowsPhone7 apps...

VBA language is protected by a licence from Microsoft so do not expect any macros on an Android device.

I don't think so.
VBA has some licensing things with Microsoft.
You can run normal Excel file (includes .xls and .xlsx).
But running file with VBA Macro is not possible.
Thanks both of you for your answers

Hi, I'm looking for an Android txt editor.
I need when I try to open a txt file on a Solid Explorer (its built-in text editor is very buggy, mostly with big files), it ask me to open with this editor; I tried many apps, but most of them doesn't appear on this menu, or it have a history feature (I hate it, because I think it's against privacy).
I'd like if it has a material GUI, and fast-scrolling.
Can someone suggest me?
X-plore is a nice tool/app

But it's a file manager, I'm looking for a standalone app, also because, as I already said in my previous post, I use Solid Explorer and I think it's useless to have a redundant app…
X-plore has text editor as well.
It's a good tool.
Type in play store text editor and test few for yourself

I tried many apps, I ask here for some apps little knowed, maybe that there isn't in the Play Store.
For example, I searched on F-Droid and I found TEdit, but it has an ugly UX and no fast-scrolling, but it's closest on what I search.

Thanks for reply, but now I use Moon Writer, that for me has only two lacks:
text search is case-sensitive only
and can't switch off auto-saving.
For the rest it has all I need:
I can choose it when I open a file in my file manager app (Solid Explorer);
When I open a file from another app, it doesn't appear in Recents list;
It has a text search feature;
It can make, edit and read txt files;
It's free;
It's available on Play Store , so I can update it without any annoyance;
It has a nice UI.
