[suggestion] Microsoft Voice command - P3400 ROM Development

did anybody using Microsoft Voice command 1.6 on gene ?
actuality i m thinking to remove cyberon Voice Dial and use Microsoft Voice command instead of it, on my upcoming rom
i didn't use Microsoft Voice command and cyberon Voice Dial, so need feedback from you ppl so i use integrate on my next rom
and don't forget to vote in poll

Microsoft Voice Command is definitely better than Cyberon. But i never found any OEM for Microsoft Voice Command, and i don't know if its free. Cyberon comes with Original P3400i ROM so i think its not illegal to use that. But if MS Voice Commands is not free, it will be illegal to use it in ROM. As far as my usage is concerned, i don't use it much but as you know my roms have cyberon so i use that, whenever i use. But i would definitely like to see MS Voice Commands if its possible.

Microsoft Voice Command

Now that's nice stuff.
The latest WM software from Microsoft even has our devices on th package XDA/MDA/SX56.
I wonder if anyone has it and how it works. The price is pretty high and we'll see how it matches Fonix Voice Central.

Please post if you have hands-on tests results.

PPS: !!! EMAIL READING MISSING !!! :x
Dead url link.
I have the program and it is truely amazing, I have tried voice rec. programs before and they always seem to be more hassel with recognition of your voice.
I not a person who would like to say microsoft was a good company for making great software, in fact the opposite but I must say clearly today, WELL DONE MICROSOFT, Voice Command is brilliant.
Does voice command do Text-to-speech?
Curious, does it read your emails aloud?
He go here, it tells you the lot. Hope it helps.

Voice Command in ROM?

Hi, I have just upgraded my Motorola MPX220 to a Cingular 3125 (StarTrek). One of my favourite features in the MPX220 is the voice recogntion for voice dialling and other commands, which I thought was a built-in feature of WM Smartphones, but I can't see whether/how this is enabled in the StarTrek.
My phone currently has Pampooh's Neo ROM, at what looks like the latest version.
Is "voice command" enabled in this ROM or any of the others downloadable from this site? If not, I guess I'll have to separately purchase and install MS Voice Command, but I had hoped this would be a built in feature.
Thanks
Andrew
? like the MPx220 u have to record first the command/voice of yourself and assign it to a action/event
if voice command works for a smartphone - i dunno - never tried... when i have time i will test it.

question:software like call my name for wm

hi dear frindes
a software for android name"call my name" exist that when you use earphone say the name of caller(if exist in your contact ,if not read the nomber of caller) in headphone
i need a software like that for wm6.5 !
please help me to find it if exist
"Voice Command" does this for me,
I simply click on the Icon and say "Call Sarah Mobile"
and the app responds with "Call Sarah Mobile?"
and I say "Yes" and it dials.
There is probably a link to it in your start menu,
but if not use file explorer to find it in the Windows folder
and create a shortcut in Windows/Start Menu/Programs
and you should be able to use it from there.
You can use it for other things like "Open Media Player" too
Enjoy your phone.
dear rickth
ya i know and use voice command 1.6 but voice command use your voice for doing your command mean when you say something it search and find that (if exist) command but the thing that i need is:
when your listen to music with headphone and someone dail do not need to check the number by bringing out the phone from bag ,turning on the phone and then answer
the software read the number or name of caller in your head phone
I know what he means.
He means that when someone rings him he wants the phone to announce who is calling over the headphones. That way he knows who is calling him without getting the phone out of his pocket.
For future reference btw rickthecabbie. Not all HD2's come pre-installed with Microsoft Voice Command. Only the American handsets do. The european etc handsets do not. There are CAB's knocking around for it though.

WP8 TellMe or Voice commands?

i went to the AT&T store to play around with some of the phones including the lumia 920. naturally i played around with Siri, S-Voice, and Windows voice commands.
S voice or google voice was the best one, and windows phone 8 barely had a voice commands. you cant ask it questions or do much of anything besides very basic commands like "call" "text" or "open" anything else would simply go straight into a BING search.
My question is what happened to TellMe or windows phone 8's response to Svoice and siri?
i loved everything about the Lumia 920 but this lack of voice command is bothering me.
are they still developing something that will come in an update or have they abandoned all development in it?
What WP is doing is to let devs extend it by using voice commands in their apps.
They showed this off with Audible, where you could launch the app with voice and then continue using the app with voice commands ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufJNiOpLqvE ).
Or you could realize how crazy you look using the voice commands.
I came from years of using an Android device and the only time I needed it was in the car...and I shouldn't have been texting anyway.
Voice Commands
I agree with the "looking crazy" comment, but even more critical, most bluetooth headsets have to have a physical on-off switch and be left off in order to avoid inadvertant voice dialing or voice commands when the call button is accidentially pressed. Is there any way to disable voice command in Windoes 8?
In iOS, you can turn off voice dialing but you cannot turn off or disable the iPod, so in meetings or movie theatres music would spontaneously begin blasting, even if the phone wason silent. the only solution was to have no music on the phone.
It seems awfully arrogant for the manufacturers to not allow this feature to be disabled.

This feature is so easy to implement, I expect a lot of apps to add that when they release their WP8 updates. Hey DJ and Urbanspoon already did.
It won't take long for voice commands on WP8 to surpass anything the other platforms offer.
