I am new to Android. My most recent phones have been a e815 and v9m.
I have tried all the free dialers on my DX2 and cannot find a one that comes close to the Hozom
www appbrain com/app/hozom-phonebook/com.towalds.hz
It does a 1st char sort of the fields.
Does anyone know of a paid dialer (or contact app) that does a 1st char ONLY sort?
Thanks Skwoo
I'm hoping this is the right place to post this.
I've just got a new Galaxy S3 and am loving it so far, but there's just one thing I'm wondering if any dev's could help with. I came from an older HTC Desire I'd rooted and was running Sandvold's ICS Beta ROM on and one of the things I really liked was being able to apply a modded MMS.apk that stopped the stock messaging app from converting a text message into an mms after 3 text messages worth of characters. I'm just wondering if there's anyone on here that's willing to create a modded version of the S3's stock messaging apk (I believe it's called SecMms.apk?) that is able to be installed on a stock S3? I'd rather hold off on rooting my new phone for a while, that's all, and it gets a little annoying when I try typing a long text message and it converts to an mms.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
Hi,
I've developed an application that send and receives encrypted SMS that is called "Private Messaging".
I'm having some trouble with this application as I got some bad reviews saying that it doesn't work. Obviously, this application works perfectly for me and the people that tested it.
I think some of the problems are linked by the way the local provider are handling SMS. As I'm french, I can only test my app with my mobile operators and it works well.
I only managed to find one cause that can break my app. It's that long SMS are splitted by the mobile operator (160 standard chars max) making it undecryptable.
I mainly got reviews from brasilian users so I'm searching for brasilian people with a Windows Phone to help me fix my issues. As these issues probably concerns other people, I'm obvisously interested by as many feedbacks as I can get to fix my issues.
Thanks in advance
So I'm having a problem that seems pretty unique. I can find nothing anywhere on the internet about this.
So I can send and receive Emojis just fine, except to select iPhone users. I can receive from them, I just can send them Emojis. When I do, they show up as asterisks(***) to them. I don't know if they're iOs has anything to do with it, I know one of them 7.1.2. If anybody has anyany information on this I would greatly appreciate the input. If there's any fix to this on my end or theirs, please let me know! By the way, I have a T-Mobile LG G2 running Kit Kat 4.4.2. So I'm using the basic LG/Google keyboard with their Emojis.
Hello!
I just got a Samsung Galaxy S21 a few days ago, and I am trying to figure out a way to use either Live Messages or Handwriting (the feature in the Samsung Messages app that let's you draw gifs to send as texts).
It seems to have been removed because while there are videos of people using this feature when the phone first came out, those options don't show up on my phone. After speaking with Samsung several times, they finally told me that those features are for phones with S-Pen support. This doesn't seem right, as I know people with Galaxy S8's and S9's who can at least create GIFs to text via Handwriting in Samsung Messages.
Is there a workaround or APK download to fix this? I've tried several, and while I finally found a version of Live Messages in APK Mirror that would install, I can't find a version of Samsung Neural Keyboard that will work because they keep crashing.
Is there anyone who could help me find a solution please? I'd be happy to provide any additional info that may be needed. Any input would be amazing. I don't know where else to turn for help or insight.
Thank you!
