you have to have new Manila 2.5.it is part of it.i have HD 2 rom extracted and in this Digi Compass package are manila files.

inside dutty's cab there are already the _manila files needed. Now, i agree that, maybe, i lack some driver; but this doesn't justify the "this isn't a valid PPC app" message. This message means that the .exe file itself has some problem; otherwise it would start and crash/freeze/exit. As, for example, does Magic8ball now that I have Sense 2.1 and no more the old Manila.

Well as far as the device knows, technically it is "not" a ppc application. With the Manila 2.5 comes the Manila 2.5 Executibles and DLLS which are required for the Compass app to work. Imagine you buy a Ferrari Transmission for your Honda. Obviously it won't bolt up to your Honda Engine. You also need the Ferrari Engine for the Ferrari Transmission to work.
The same thing applies here. Without the Manila 2.5 Engine, the Manila 2.5 Compass won't work.

Isn't that for QVGA devices Hermes is a QVGA device and Athena is VGA device. If U install a QVGA software on a VGA It wil show it in a small screen. We need to have a VGA version of Htc Home plugin. Any way there is a VGA version of Htc Audio Manager and is uploaded. in ftp site of xda-developers.

You're not missing anything...I was referring to the TouchFlo HomePlug as in Hermes or Kaiser. Sorry for getting you confused.

I tried it on my e-ten x800. It worked. But the interface is still in the up-left quarter of my VGA screen. Only the phones display in full screen. Is there any configuration I need to set so the control interface can be in full screen mode?

Unfortunatly almost only HTC apps fail to run smoothly because they fixed the location of stuff by coordinates rather than it gets scaled I'm told.
What does work is HTC Backupm which is quite useless to me.
I would love to see a VGA compatibe version of the Album, CommManager, 3G Dialer and random access.
Guess we got to wait till HTC releases VGA devices which won't be for quite some months.

or you can do some quick xml editing of the x , y coordinate system to get it how you like. dont for get to go into\windows and delete "ha_skin_cache_l.dat" and/or "ha_skin_cache_p.dat"
as the name suggest its the cache file for those xml files and need to be deleted every time you update the xml files. if you don't see the dat files there then you should be ok.

OK - so this is an app that spmeone has got working in VGA on the Athena which is an HTC VGA device and you're complaining that it doesn't work on your x800 and that HTC won't release VGA devices for some months?
We have VGA devices and nice people who get things working for us and post them in HTC Athena specific forums - don't moan that they don't work on your poxy Etens!
Once installed in my X7500 (spanish oficial WM5 ROM) the program as to reset my PDA. So I did it. Then I launch the program and said something about missing certificate or part.
Not working at all. So I uninstall it.

Wow, that's quite an attack on us e-ten users.
HTC hasn't released any regular candystaick like devices, just some sub-notebook alike devices.
And these devices don't contain those apps.
As it's hard to find any vga working apps you naturally see us x800/m800/x500+ users all over the universal and athena forums, so get used to it.
As it's now HTC is pretty much falling behind the competition, they focused to much on the mid-market and haven't released a power-user candybar for quite some time, and that's my reason for switching to e-ten for the past year now, and my x800 should last another year.
If you ask me, atm E-ten and some other brands do have the better devices out there than HTC.
The only thing HTC is really good at, and no-one can deny is coding real nice apps, on my late x500 I only had freeware and HTC apps running.
It was not meant as an attack on eten users, just on them moaning that something that someone has got working on the Athena and posted in the Athena forum doesn't work on the Etens.
This is a forum for Athena users - No problem with others using the apps designed for Athenas but if you want to moan do it in an Eten forum not the Athena one!

Texts are 'threaded' - so you can see all texts from / to a person together like a conversation - it's one feature I'd been after for ages!
Its something I disabled after 24 hours of WM6.1 on my Kaiser.
I can see how its useful if you keep texts and want a record of the conversation but I dont keep texts so I found the threading really annoying.
I don't know if I would like a touchscreen OS on my non-touchscreen phone. I'd really, really miss the numeric keypad shortcuts.

WM6.1 Professional will be fully usable on StarTrek. It will have SIP disabled with (x)T9 enabled only.
Numeric keypad works. We have to modify keypad driver to bind Win, OK and C buttons to hardware keys.
And there are some troubles with MicroSD card and ColdInit.
btw, WM6.1 Standart already on beta test - there are ActiveSync not connecting (asyncmac.dll with all reg entries made already) and Settings applets errors, but all except these troubles works good.

I like it WITHOUT the file manager. Good call. The standard file manager is a junk that never get used anyway. I use Resco File Explorere 2008, which allows you to scroll with fingers (like HTC TouchFlo with sound)..
I'm going to try this out for sure, and I think this could be IT.

I use Pocket informant and the Blank Contact Issue is not in this rom using Pocket Informant in any dpi...But I did not try it with the Native Contact App.

I believe Irus's plan is to replace the Splash Screens. He created a thread asking for someone or many people to create splash screens for the Rom. So since no one has provided any yet and this is a beta rom, the splash's will be added later. You can also create and put in your own splash screens too. This is Lite or Vanilla Rom, therefore no voice command application is included in the Rom. Which is good, since you can install the one you prefer. There are several cabs available for either Cyberon or Microsoft Voice Command available. Choose your preference, search and install the one you want.

The problem is still there in 96dpi and 128dpi.
However, it is fine in 192dpi.

Already this that you explain to me.
I have installed the Cyberon and works all good… but when pressing the button of my Jabra 8010 does not take the program, I have tried with the Vito Dialer and either… there is no something in the registry that does not take the button from my bluetooth.
install AP4 Cyberon Voice Commander from AP4 Addons
Delete shortcuts created in Start Up Folder
Install Cyberon Voice Commander form Irus 6.1 addons
then it will work fine!

I am having a small issue in texts and email list. From the windows home screen if I select either texts or email and view the lists of messages, I can not scroll up or down by using the up or down button's until after I click on a message to open it then close back out of it. Anyone else with this issue?
Otherwise so far everything is working great. Exchange mail is working perfectly, Gps is good, no issuse's with anything else so far.

Edit, the keyboard is not optimised for touch pro, and also there's delay when typing on my physical keyboard. I guess there's a fix somewhere in the forum.
Strangely enough I have no hardware keyboard delay problem on my Touch Pro. I've found another bug, rather in TF3D2, but it doesn't appear in WM6.1 TF3D2 versions. When I set a wallpaper and then rotate the device, wallpapers rotates, but upper semitransparent taskbar (?) shows shifted wallpaper fragment. In other TF3D2 editions upper bar is not transparent, so there's no problem there.
But thanks for great ROM. For me the best of all WM6.5 available.

I also had the same message. I just unzipped the NBH file only then used the Raphaelwrapper.exe from another rom to load it.
I am also having an issue with the incoming calls display. When i receive a call the light will flash but it takes forever for the display to load up the screen where i can accept or reject the call. When it finally does come up their appears to be two dialer's. One flashes very quickly (assuming this is the standard dialer) then the actual dialer comes up. I hope this makes sense, I don't know what the proper names for the programs are. I have soft reset and the call screen come up a little quicker but still having the issue.
I am not sure why it says the loader is a virus. I got it from xda. I will remove it from next release. I will be updating to the newest kitchen build and it should fix a lot of the small bugs that where reported. I will check evey bug posted in the new build. If any are still there I will fix it. I will update kitchen and release new version tonight after work. I will release touch pro and Htc fuze versions. I will have versions with TF3d 2, TF3D, TF3D HD, no TF3D and SPB Mobile Shell version. Thank you for your feed back.
Very nice. I installed 6.5 21198 yesterday and thought that I miss the TF3d. I like having the pictures of my favorite people I call. I also like having the new start menu from 6.5. So thank you for your hard work.

ShEp - You may want to switch to the other wrapper; the radio thread is full of these kinds of posts.

Active sync works like a charm (couldn't with DaGs ROM).
gaaah I can't install it...I've been trying to search the forum but i can't find anything useful. I've tried several versions of spl but it hangs on 1% and restarts...which spl are you using when you're flashing? I had the 2.03 original rom before flashing to the other 6.5-rom
the problem is perhaps that I have a diamond?
