A few sites are advertising pre-order for genuine HTC extended batteries for the ATT Tilt 2, with the HTC battery cover available now. Some sites show it as a 1800 mah capacity, some show it at 2100... Here's one site:
http://www.msgdigital.com/productdetail.asp?productid=48098
Anyone know if this is for real?
I wonder how much thickness the extended battery & extended door cover add to the phone ?
1800 battery should not be using the new battery door

I found this online but being a former touch pro user this is clearly a touch pro battery yet all the sites I see it on are selling it as a touch pro2 battery it says its a 1800mah part number 35H00117-02M just wondering what the deal is looked in the forums wasn't able to find anything.
could you possibly provide a link?
just do a google search for 35H00117-02M theres plenty of people selling it online but all the pics i have seen show an extended touch pro battery I'm confused cause all the places selling it show it for a touch pro2
I know it's not OEM, but Seidio is selling an extended Innocell 1750 battery that is the same size as the original (no new door needed). Many folks I have talked to have been very happy with the Innocells and they are a definitely a good quality battery.
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi17htp2.htm
It is an oem battery I wasn't asking about the seidio battery I already know about it. I am trying to figure out what the one I listed was. I have a 2100mah battery for my phone already.
A lot of websites report it as being for the TP2, but the pictures show a somewhat square batt, where the TP2 batt is more rectangular. In addition, the contact plates (3 on the 1800, 4 on the 1500) are not in the same place. I don't think this batt fits the TP2...
if you wait a week or so I can tel you how good the batteries are from hong kong
I was confused my self I thought maybe one seller just had it wrong but everyplace I have looked show it being for a touch pro2 but all the pictures show it being a touch pro battery which are very different was just trying to clear up any confusion but looks like others are confused as well. The best bet if you are looking for a cheap exteneded battery currently and don't mind a little extra bulk is going with the verizon one that fits sprint as well and you can get it for $35 shipped and thats a 2100mah battery
Seidio now has their 3500 mah extended battery available for purchase.
price is 69 bucks you can google seidio innocel or seidio to find their website.
Ive used the seidio extended battery on the evo 4g and still do. Great battery gets you through the whole day and then some.
WARNING: Mugen Power batteries does NOT have an extended battery available yet, there are counterfeit sites pretending to be mugen, if you buy from MUGEN POWER ( can pre order ships in november) make sure you are in touch with their genuine website.
The issues with mugen and the fake websites made the seidio decision that much easier for me.
Thanks for the info but this belongs in.the "Photon Accessories"section...
So I just bought an extended battery from accessory swamp.
This one: http://www.accessoryswamp.com/3500mah-extended-life-htc-evo-3d-battery.html
Will these cases fit that battery cover?
These: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HTC-Evo-3D-...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item84b8bb48cb
It would be great to find out.
Thanks guys.
that extended battery looks like any other $15 ebay extended battery, but twice the price. so really that extended case should fit.
i'im going with this extended battery + cover + case in a few days after i see how i like the evo 3d: http://www.amazon.com/Trexcell-3500...63SQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1320023461&sr=8-2
Other inexpensive cases for extended batteries EVO 3D
There is a seller on eBay (moretalktime) who sells custom TPU cases for a lot of phones including the evo 3d with the extended battery.
I have question, I have extended battery and it is much better than the oem, it 1950 mAh, but when I open any battery monitoring program, it keep saying 1700 mAh. Is this normal?

This very much depends on the phone and the way you initially calibrated your battery. I recommend to read this guide from Mugen Power for more info and also look into rooting the phone to be able to access power mngmt .bin files.
hi, i'm looking for extended batteries that come with replacement back cover for motorola photon
can anybody give me input ?
on how the battery perform
and how good the quality of the replacement back cover ?
actually i'm leaning towards seidio because i've used them in may blackberries and they are good.
and also the other option that i found is
either the cheapo ebay stuff (where i'm afraid about the quality of the battery and the quality of the back cover
and also the Mugen power battery (i found the price is too steep for and extended battery)
so please advice
thank you.
I've been using a TREXCELL 3500 battery from AMAZON.Pricing is in the $20-$25 range & this is definitely a solid choice over SEIDIO.
I get a solid 10 hrs of moderate to heavy use & 14-16 hrs. of light to moderate use w/o re-charging.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1526066
No problems with them yet.
Can anyone give a link to a decent external battery charger?

I got 50 Hours with light use on my TREXCELL 3500 mAh =D Favorite battery!
hows the quality of the back cover on trexcell ?
do they feel flimsy ?
I've got both a TREXCELL & INCREDICELL(don't recommend the INCREDICELL).
The battery covers are equal, if not exactly the same.
Care does need to be taken when removing the cover, especially around the kickstand area, as that is the weakest point on the cover due to the contours that are present to accommodate the extended battery thickness.
Not a big deal, or, deal breaker. You can get replacement covers by simply buying an el cheapo extended battery for a few $ on e-Bay, AMAZON, etc.......
SEIDIO will sell the extended battery cover by itself, for $14..95.
You simply just have to call & ask for it, unless SEIDIO has begun listing them on their website.
Anyone ever try the Droid Bionic battery on the Photon? I am thinking about getting it.

hi thanks
this is what i really want
a hyperion battery and a seidio back cover
do they fit ?
why hyperion, cause i've heard good reviews of it on this forum and the seidio battery doesn't get good reviews
and also my friends buy the hyperion battery with the replacement back cover, but thte cover is very bad, he broke the clips within 2 weeks, so i supposed that the seidio back case is supposedly better.
the only question for me now is , are they compatible ?
i mean will the seidio back cover accommodate the hyperion extended battery ?
I bought this at Amazon, plugged it in last night, set my Sprint LG G3 on it, and... nothing.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J7L6GJC
I went back to the Amazon page and read a little bit more. The first question (that I missed when I bought it) asked if it worked with an AT&T LG G3; the answer was "no, a wireless receiver is required."
I emailed the seller to return it, stating that it required an additional piece of hardware. The seller replied that it does NOT require any additional hardware.
So who is right?
AT&T model of G3 uses PMA wireless charging standard, instead of Qi and so it would never work.
In the case of Sprint G3 (and other US carrier models), I believe none of them come with battery doors that have Qi charging pins.
You have 3 options
Replace the battery door with one that has Qi charging sticker
Buy a Quick Circle case that has Qi charging sticker
Buy a wireless charging sticker, open your the battery door, affix the sticker at the right spot on the battery door and put it back
The third will be the cheapest option. Here is a video.
Thanks!
I see some cheap cases on Amazon for about $10 that include the Qi charging sticker. I see the stickers for about $5 if I go with the cheapest vendors.
Does that sound about right?
Are there any caveats? Is it better to buy from an established seller rather than a knockoff from overseas?
I personally buy knockoffs from China all the time and had very little issues. If the price difference is significant, I prefer the cheaper ones.
For example the 6000+ mah internal battery I bought for G3 cost me $12 from China. Compared that to the same capacity battery from Mugen which costs $90.

Did you need an extended battery cover for that large of a capacity?

Yes I do. The extended battery is double in thickness. Check this photo album (not mine, but same battery and cover).

Keep in mind that cover you see in the pictures, does not have Qi charging and NFC pins.
