Is there any backup software - preferably free - that's working with Manila/Sense 2.5 that will do a backup of calendar, contacts, favourite contacts, SMS, speed dials and call history?
Microsoft MyPhone is free and works great with Sense 2.5.

Will it also backup my favourite contacts in Sense People tab?
A simple copy/paste of your PIM.vol (while Sense is not running) will backup your contacts/appointments/tasks/sms/mails
and this app can backup your Sense favorites http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=543605

i personally use UC and copy the pim.vol that i backed up and copy over through sdconfg...or just use WMDC...
Try Microsoft MyPhone. Automatic backup and sync of contacts, pics, text msgs or anything you choose. It backs up and restores my contacts (200+) in less then 45 seconds.
MyPhone is excellent but it doesn't work properly if you have Outlook synced to an exchange server. I use PIM Backup for contacts and MyPhone for text messages.

I use SPB backup to restore my contacts and \my docs\ folder Well worth the $ I paid for the full version. You can run scheduled backups and they also have an app to unpack a backup on your PC.
pimbackup is capable of that as well.
+3 on the pim backup...only one i tried and it works aces...tho i strictly only do my contacts and appointments.
i would say that we need a list of everything that you want to back up. if it's just contacts and calendar backing up your pim.vol file manually is rediculously easy (i've done it by accident before). how ever if you want to back up more than that then you will probably want another program. so yeah, let us know exactly what you want to back up.
MyPhone has trouble with hanging on some of the contacts. I just synced my phone with my GMail contacts and calendar so I'll let you know how it goes when I hardreset next time.
Microsoft My Phone
My phone from microsoft is the realy way to go man, Crashed my computer and had bad rom on phone. Myphone stores on the cloud so its always available. Saved my ass and all my business contacts.

You could use MyBackUp Pro. It can backup all those things you mentioned
i m very concerned about this topic, how can i make a backup for my sms on HD2 into my pc or storage card, then recovering them into the phone ?
Hi,
Have you tried using PIM Backup? It's freeware and you can save your contacts, SMS messages, appointments etc. It came pre loaded on my T-Mobile HD2 Leo and I've found it really useful when I accidentally deleted all my contacts when playing with ActiveSync settings.
Hope this is of use.
Thank you >..
i found other great application (Jeyo Mobile Companion 2.1) which is great for making backup for sms, contacts,... and modifying in them (reminds me of myphonexplorer )..
Hi, I just rooted my HTC Inspire. Is there any way that I can transfer all my data (contacts, apps, app data, texts etc.) to a flashed rom? For example if I wanted to clash MIUI, it deletes ALL of the data. Thanks!

mybackuppro available on the market. I'm not sure exactly everything it backs up, but you can look into it.
Titanium Backup should make the job too.
For the texts I use SMS Backup & Restore, wich is very handy and efficient!
And for your contacts : Aren't they automatically synchronized with your google account ?
Hi,
it looks as if Titanium Backup is not supported anymore - or at least there is no way to request support, since their support forms stopped working and a mail to their email address listed on the playstore only gets you a canned reply pointing at the ... support forms.
So, what alternatives to TB are there? What i'd need is a full backup, full restore, and it should be able to sync backups into google drive or even better nextcloud.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
