hi, ive got an orange spv m3100 that has a really annoying screen issue. sometimes when brining it on from standby, or just switching it on, the screen basically "whites out". All it displays it a white light pretty much, but no display
The reason why im posting this is for a bit of advice
1) has anyone ever heard of this before?
2) anyone know how to fix it if they have?
3) anyone whos dissasembled their hermes before could make an educated guess at what it could be and how it might be fixed
4) and finally whether or not its worth opening it up and having a look at or sending back to HTC for them to tell me im stupid and shouldnt have dropped it and its gonna cost £100000 to repair
its really really annoying and makes using the phone very hard to use. sometimes shaking it seems to help which doesnt bode well and i get a bit scared at shaking it because, well, that can never be a good thing.
thanks in advance
Is it what I show in this thread?

If so, let me know. Thx.
Hi everyone,
I got my HTC at the turn of the year when everyon else was buying the lumnia 800, i went with the bigger screen and the front facing camera
I actually quite liked it, but for some reason it is a very unpopular phone. I have never come across anyone with a Titan, and it took me forever to find just a case for it, maybe its just because I live on mainland Europe......i dunno.
Does anyone have an idea why its so....ignored?
I used have this problem with the Titan that once the battery got really low it started acting funny, it would stay on the lock screen and the touch wouldn't function normally. I figured this was just because it had low battery, but lately even when it has plenty of battery to spare it still shows the same problem....does anyone else have this issue as well? Do I need to contact a shop to see if they can fix it?
I totally agree. I live in Spain, and when the phone was released, it was showed during one week only in a shop called "The Phone House" (also know as "Carphone Warehouse") and of course, only unlocked, not with special prices with operators and that stuff.
And about the problems that you are experimenting, you should contact with HTC, The phone, even without invoice, is still in warranty period, because it was released the last year and the warranty time for Europe is 2 years.
Good luck!
Funny, I saw it for the first time in phone house as well...they had it on display!
I am wondering though if it falls under the warranty...from experience I know that they often try their best to blame it on the customers.
The touch screen being unresponsive with a low battery is a known bug in the EU ROMs. I have a US Titan, I flashed the EU ROM, and this started happening to me. So I flashed a US ROM again to fix it.
If you convince HTC to send you a new titan, you probably will still have this issue.

Hi, Making sure the battery saver setting was switched on stopped the unresponsive low battery problem for me and others!

Wow, that really worked for me! Thank you
I have seen that this is a common problem, but that there is no actual solution, so I was wondering if anyone could see any problems with my setup. This seems to be a recent issue with my phone, but no new rom seems to fix it. I am currently on cyanogenmod which I really like, but the issue still seems to be present.
Whenever it starts to overheat, the battery goes down fast, or the phone just messes up. Today, it was going crazy, so I reset it, and it went from 50% to 12% (see the first picture). As for my phone baseband version etc, please let me know if I have anything wrong (second picture).
Thanks!
You can try two things..
Maybe you can uninstall a few apps that you really dont need
or
You can buy a new battery
Hello fellows. I recently *revived* a Samsung SII after a really long time (before that, I had dropped it in the sea and it wouldn't open ). Problem is, during my effort in trying to fix it, I accidentaly "destroyed* a tiny, round batter that was stuck on the board of the phone inside. And by saying destroy, I mean I cut it off its connectors and I destroyed them in a way I cannot stick it back. However, the phone turned on and it works perfectly! Or that's what I think so...can anyone tell me what's that battery's use? What is is useful for? I tried to google but I found no answer. Thank you in advance! Cheers! ^^
First, sorry for my bad english
Out of no where the display came loose. And I also have battery problems. Has anybody else encountered this problem?
I asume the battery is expand but I havent opend the watch yet(no small torx yet).
The watch is a little over 2 years old now.
Does anybody know where to get a new battery
update:
It looks like the battery is slightly bigger as it should be. Can someone confirm this?
If the watch is open the screen can be pushed back. and it cant if the battery is screwed on.
where can i buy a new battery, anyone?
You can buy batteries right from asus.
