are we ever going to have wp7 on our tg01 ? just because we dont have the 3 buttons and the capacitive screen on our tg01 does that mean we cant have wp7? i mean we still have a powerful 1ghz snapdragon cpu and a decent ram. surely there is a way around this little problem.

No. Anyway nokser who 'apparently' got wp7 working has sold his tg01 and moved on like Others. Still is a great device and served me well. I use it as a handy backup now for data.

yeah ither android or wp7 is good really i have noticed android developement has slowed down tho or maybe even stopped i dont know but if thats true why leave something half finnished? haave the developers for android just quit?

android development stopped way back in november-december. i doubt it would ever continue progress. nowadays, the hd2 devs have moved on, so i doubt you would see them coming back to develop for older devices.
Cotulla is the best dev around, who wasthe main hd2 porter for wp7 and android. and he also ported android for the hd mini.
anyway, even if android is finished, there will still be many problems, like poor battery life due to the kernel not built for the specific device etc. the hd2 even with amdroid/wp7 isnt perfect. it sucks up battery twice as fast as wm. so imagine that on tg01's....

For ACE?
No. It has got Qualcomm MSM7227 as AP, what almost excludes ability to port Bada in there, at least for me.
It's pretty "easy" (by this I mean less than 100 hours of work) achievable for SGS series.
Wave M?
I think the hardware of the Ace is verry similar to the new Wave M.. Just try it to port when the Wave M has been released.. The Wave M will be the middle class of the Waves, like the Ace of the Galaxy-series. (like the differences between s8500 and i9000)
Thats why I traded my old Wave for a LG Optimus Black. Maybe it has a bit powerless hardware, but it runs a full stable Android and it works like a charm.
So goodbye Bada, I moved into Android.

I moved because I'll move all my entire devices to Android if its possible. I have an Eken M009s tablet (which I use in the university for downloading ebooks and PDFs) and a pair of Android phones, a ZTE Blade (I recommend it if you want to get a cheap and good Aphone, with its Adreno200 and 512 RAM) and my Optimus Black.
After having an Iphone 2G, a few Symbian's Nokia and a LG KS20 with Windows Mobile, I can't doubt it: Android is the best phone for a technogeek like me

Android isnt a phone its an OS very important for people that dont know that and read this.
We like here to use the right declarations of such things, this would either confuse users that dont know it right.
Wont you need the BADA source code?
The reason why android can be ported (if not completely because there are chip driver issues like modems not working etc) is because its open source...
To port BADA to any device wont you need the source code to work with?
Samsung is holding bada's source code and i dont think they will open source it at all even if it uses some opensource code.
They did pay for the right to use opensource code into a proprietory system.

WOW like i said befor bada os it's an awsome os and bada 2.0 even more awsome then all oses togeter only thing that it is missing is devlepers and apps and APPS
and then the all world will be using bada os and not symbain (yack!!!!!!!!!) or Ios(realy stupid OS and to complacte togeter that it's making it usless) or Android (i like android to but there isn't something special in it)

ya bada isnt open source so we cant port it ...also no one would be ready to work for this port as they are already busy in porting android on wave .

The problem its not porting but the complexe off boot and 2 level Os or 3 maybe make's bada verry verry complexe to dissasemble and also to porting we realy need open source then works maybe 6month for realy works, verry verry complexe !!!

It does not really matter bro, do not worry.. It is mix of Android energy putting into WP7, Android rocks btw having full customization to keep widgets etc.. ,and a look of well made WP7... On Android, anything is possible but easy...
I do not like WP7 indeed but, just for a change, made this customization from apps available on the Android Market... As soon as ICS knocks my RAZR, will put it in the bin... Just one sentence, "Android is a permanent choice where u do lot of stuffs and WP7 is temporary choice could live only few days.... I too have gone through WP7 phones...

Developers will need to work hard a lot to run Android on Mozart, it's not worth the trouble since Mozart hardware is not so nice,it doesn't even have a SD card slot. If you like Android buy a Dual core or Quad core Android phone. I am waiting for windows phone 7.8 custom ROM for Mozart.

Mozart is a great phone, We don't need android we need more custom apps. In android you have 100 apps to do the same thin. in WP7 were is a feel of limitation in some areas.

Sold it today this piece of s... and i bought it Samsung Galaxy S2 with proper system.

You should really consider installing android port. Even if it will be done android will be very laggy because of GPU and CPU and RAM, you need to have quad core CPU and 1GB RAM to make android work like WP7. That's totally lagged system, i have android tablet so i know.
