StarTrek recycles power on it's own - HTC Startrek

My StarTrek sporadically reboots itself. I can't notice any pattern. I am using Pampooh WM 6.1 (5.2.20279, build 20279.1.3.4). I don't think it's OS related, because I had similar problem before with Erofich OS. Maybe it's just glitches in the battery...
Any one has similar problem and know of the solution?

Comm Manager wifi problems

Hi all.
I'm currently running PDAViet 4.0.0.0.4 PV but have noticed also on some other roms that after a bit of use, wifi will not turn on any more. Tapping it in comm manager results in my prophet thinking for a bit, then giving up and failing to turn wifi on. I have no programs running, so I assume its not a memory problem.
Is there a "more stable" version of comm manager that always works, but that may not be as up to date as other versions found in newer roms, and if so, where can I find a copy? If not, does anyone know what my problem might be?
I'm running base 4.0.0.0.4 PV rom with SPBDiary, audio manager today plugin, slide2unlock, and the new contacts app by tene added to it. Nothing is listed in the currently running software list while trying to get wifi working.
I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks all.
I should also mention that a warm boot fixes the problem temporarily.
Cheers guys.

well as far as I know it's the problem with wireless drivers in the WM6 Roms, Try truneytral's WM6.

Digitiser/Screen alignment

Hi,
I am running Prophet Touch VIII and now have a problem of the digitiser losing alignment and needing to be reset very often. This is not a problem I have previously experienced on this rom for first few weeks of use - has only just started.
It happened on Prophet Touch VII but not WM5. Is this a hardware issue, software or rom? I haven't added any new software recently.
Thanks all

Hi There,
I have the same problem with aligning but solve by removing the task manager and replace with another one.
If you use task manager from battery plugins, just change to another task manager which is available.
The aligning problem comes when the battery cannot supply the aligning hardware so the precision of it was changed.
May it help
Thanks for advice. I have never actually used the battery plugins app nor the task manager. I use X button 1.5. Am going to try using neither and see if that helps.

Atom Exec Hangs Frequently

If my atom exec hangs frequently is it normal? been expriencing it since with the wm5 till now when i flash wm6 in. it hangs like... display icons without any link just the window flag.. unable to respond to screen taps, and once in a blue moon unable to power on with the power button.
I have the same problem with my Atom exec. However, it only hangs / freeze for about 1 minutes after I softreset the device, almost everytime like this.... so strange
Mine was doing some when it was WM5 but then I ported over to WM6 by Jiggs The Great followed by Chartreux and finally Abusalza. Since move over to WM6 I have never found a problem of freezing until and unless some third party software that I load causes it. You can check if it is a software that is creating the problem for u.

Try to turn it on and off and see if that will break it from "fake dead".
There are only two WM6 AtomExec ROM could be used for the moment.
Chartruex's ROM is extremely fast but freeze a lot. Abusalza' ROM is slower but seems more stable but still has "fake deads".
I hope they are still working on it. They are close to a very good ROM.

Fix of TomTom 7 auto-power off problem with latest builds...

I had some problems with some of the latest (>20000) builds of Prophet roms when using together with TOMTOM 7.450 and an external bluetooth GPS antenna. It happened that, while running TomTom7 WITHOUT connecting my Prophet to a power source (i.e. my car's cigarette lighter plug) after 2-3 minutes the PDA auto-powered off. You can imagine the stress...
TomTom programmers managed to bypass the power management in order to prevent this annoying (and also very dangerous while driving) feature.
Unfortunately seems that latest builds' power management settings are completely ineffective at least with TomTom7. You can set the battery power management to NEVER OFF but it still will go down after a couple of minutes when running TOMTOM. All the latest roms that I've tried seem to be affected by this bug...
But maybe I've found a solution...
Use your favourite Registry Editor and check this:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\DisableGwesPowerOff
In my case it was set to 0.
I've changed it to 1 and voilĂ !!!
Seems that now everything works correctly:
1) TomTom Anti-AutoPowerOff is OK
2) OS's Battery power settings are OK
Hope I helped everyone who faced this annoying problem and I also kindly ask all the cookers to check this registry setting before releasing a new one.
Your,

Bodhi3 many thanks for your information, I was having this problem and the only way that I found to solve it was to increase the sound in periods of time.
I will try it soon.

It must depend on the build i am playing with a ROM build 21015 and this reg key doesn't exist but it uses Gwes i will look into this on my version thanks
curious did this work for anyone?
i tried it and no luck on build 7.915.9196
am starting to think its my ROM if more people are not having ths problem. i'll report back after i flash.
after trying everything possible and nothing working having blammed problems on bug in TomTom, it seems the problem was the ROM.
so i flashed a different ROM and can confirm TomTom is working fine and stays on regardless of power settings in OS

[Q] HD2 Screen blue lines? HELP!!!

Hello!
After i changed my Radio version and did a HardSPL a few months ago in order to run Android, my screen sometimes shows colour mistakes, blue horizontal lines appear all over the screen. This happens in WM and when running Android.
I suspect that my Radio is creating this mistake.
I am using a stock WM ROM!
Help is appreciated, thanks in advance!
I'd be more inclined to believe that it was the Android build that isa affecting the video rather than the radio.
hi there
same issues here !
with an hd2 on android and/or wm.
it happened after set a special radio to hd2.
after remove it, the lines were gone !!
Same issue with the my HD2 on windows mobile...
