Greetings to all. I'm looking for apps that I manage contacts on my HTC tattoo rooted, because my contacts were doubled if not tripled.
There is an apps that I clean up duplicates?

Ok so I'm thinking about installing a new ROM to my HD2.
Just want clarification on a couple of things im unsure of!
1) Is there anyway to store all of my contacts easily so that after my hard reset i can just plug my phone into the PC and have them all back again (Noob-ish i know but i've not had the phone long!!)
2)After installing the ROM, will i still be able to have my contacts linked with their facebook accounts? (I thought it was a pretty nifty feature which i would mind losing!)
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Try PIM backup. It has worked well for me and its free.
if you have ms outlook, then its perfect for contacts and calendar syncing.
Also ms myphone, and i think gmail will sync contacts.
facebook - yes, it stores their facebook id (and also your favourites tab people) data in the notes field of the contact.
I am rooted! YAY! I didn't know that my contacts with fb would not sync, and neither are all of mine from google. booo!
Is there any way to get my facebook contacts to sync with my phone contacts? I really liked having all those pics for everyone, plus all of the other contact info. I didn't know that the backup my phone was syncing with every day (was it with verizon?) on stock GB was not a contact list that I would not be able to use on ICS. I lost a lot of contacts. How do I get all of my google contacts to show up, and how come it's only showing me some of them, and not all of them? Where do I go to manage all of my google contacts and get them on my phone? Do I do that from the desktop gmail in my pc browser?
Also, is there a way to make the contact manager list the contacts without the ginormous pictures in a side-by-side fashion? I really don't like the look or feel of it, is there a better way?

For google just set your gmail up or google voice and they should automatically show up.
Just do a google search. Thats what I did.

You're going to have to use an app such as HaxSync if you want to sync your Facebook contacts in ICS.

thank you! I knew their had to be a way. Is there a different contacts manager for ICS? I really dislike the one that it comes with. Maybe I am just too used to the one that GB had, but I find the one is ICS to very unwieldy.

I'm messing around with it, and I can only say it's a BEAST!!
But the first little problame I cam across is the syncing of my contacts. I have a list in gmail of my phone contacts (so I don't have to have ALL my gmail contacts) but I can't find in android 4 how I can only select this list ... can someone help me?

I can't believe this is not possible ...
I think it depends on the dialer/contacts/people app combo. I know I could select which groups of contacts was shown in ICS on my HTC Desire (menu/accounts in the contact list), but I don't have the option on the contacts/people app currently in use in the BlackStar rom.

I am trying to find a solution to managing my phone contact on my windows PC. I find that HTC sync manager which is provided by HTC does not have this function. Any idea, what is the best way to manage (add pic, merge, delete, add) my phone contacts from my PC.
The contact list is large so I find it difficult to edit all in phone itself. Any help would be appreciated.
Just use a Google account. It's the easiest way...

question, when you...copy contacts, import/export contacts,copy contacts to google acc, do these functions in any way delete your contacts on your phone. ?
I want to export my contacts to my pc, or to my google acc and worry that it could be deleted on my phone by doing this.

I am seeking for some help. It is my understanding that after updating the G Watch to 5.1 it should load the contacts when swiping left from the apps menu. However, in my watch all I get is an empty contacts screen that says "No contacts found, Add contacts to contacts app on phone".
My contacts apps has plenty of contacts. I've tried resetting the app and resyncing contacts but that doesn't help.
Any help would be greatly appreceiated.
Do you have favorite contacts (i.e. Starred contacts)?
Are they saved on Google, or just your phone? It might not display contacts if they aren't saved on Google...

the g watch practically on contact list just show me the last called persons....not my entire list of people synch on my google account....!!
