When I go to this site on my mobile, I get the old style layout... it did display the new layout once but then reverted to the old style.. anyone got any ideas as to why this happens?

Try clearing your cookies in the options.

9 PROGRAM SHORTCUTS ON HOME SCREEN FOR MANILA 2.1
THIS is a beta version
how to use:
follow the instructions to have no problem..also adding a video instruction

1>when u turn on manila you will see nine shortcuts on your home screen.
2>click any shortcut
3>immidiately open the program you want to assign to that button
4>wait for 5-10 sec.you will get a notification
5>click yes if you want to assign/Click i need ten seconds more if you need more time.
6>same procedure for all the nine boxes
7>restart manila
ICONS
1>if the program you have selected is recognised by my software it will automatically update the icon
2>if the icon is blank then you have to set the icon your self
3>put any icon you want in the windows folder
4>go to hkcu/software/htc/manila-->and find the reg key with the name of your program
write the path in it
restart ma nila

If you can do that, may be you could also port Appointment Editor from 2.5 to 2.1..
it's so annoying to add and edit appointments in 2.1 via standard outlook dialogs.. with the stylus..

awesome!! just today i am using a manila 2.1 ROM it's so fast compared to 2.5 right now and it's so hard to hit the button combo for to tri-color screen it. This is the best news I've heard all week!! wish you the best

This would be awesome, this and the twitter tab are the main reasons to use 2.5 and if we can get the shortcuts in 2.1 then I can live without the twitter tab!

Hey bro,
So am i right in saying that you want the stock SE virtual keyboard on the CM7 rom, instead of the android 2.3.3 keyboard? That should be possible. I mean the only thing that i can see that would stop it working is if the resolutions wern't right then it wouldn't install at all, but since the resolutions haven't been changed in CM7 then you should be good.
If im wrong please someone correct me.

Hi Brian
The way I do it is first click Applications
Then press your menu key
click edit
you can then drag any application into or out of the dock (Bottom four icons)
Hope this helps

hi Aaron....mmmmm i just tried that and tried to replace stock sms app in dock for handcent sms...it wont let me do it as just now gives me total 5 dock apps....seems stock default sms cant be taken out of dock, any other ideas but thankyou for your help..

You need to be on the application screens (hit the application button) when doing this. You can't do it when on the home screen/s. Then hit the menu key then edit.

I've got the problem, that I accidently deleted an icon on the 3rd screen (My Apps) and
cannot recover it. Tried "dump icons" and this works but you have to be aware not to deleted
the icon in the download folder.
Best way would be to recover the icons within the themer app.

Unfortunately you'll have to re-apply the theme. We are working on icon pack support that will make the process much easier. We apologize the inconvenience.

I've done this several times. I'm glad a fix is coming.

Yes, I did. And it worked.
But it would be better go get these icons within the themer application (eg with a menu option).
