Hi to everybody from users to chiefs,
As all we know dialer of htc hd2 is not 100% compatiable with hd2 and in the past there was overlap issue however it has been fixed partly.now during making calls dialer looks ok but If you would like to save a contact from dialer during this stage dialer overlap occurs again ors sometime when you end up your call. I will upload a picture that explains what I mean. I hope you will not advise me to use some cabs that solves this problem because I tried all of them and this issue still exists.
1) What I really wonder is Htc Mini dialer does not have any problem like what hd2 has and Is there any way to import that keyboard from htc mini?
2) I see that new Huashan rom is based on 23121 com3 build and if we use its own dialer this overlap problem can be solved totally?
3) yes, there are some cab files to solve this and it solves partly,it means with some registry and graphic hacks can be solved totally?
thanks for your comments and I hope we will find a real solution before htc releases a new rom I hope we dont need to wait that so long!!

Hello,
This Fix is to hide SIM Contacts. If you have duplicated outlook/IM and SIM contacts this fix is very usefull. No more duplicated contacts
Many Fixs to hide SIM contacts didn't work for me. So i make this new one that force to hide SIM contacts.
This fix change the registry key ControlPanel\Phone\ShowSIM to 0 and after a soft reset a light executable will run but only for a few seconds.
Tested in: HTC Touch HD (backstone) with wm6.1.
Please tell me if doesn't work for you.

In WM6.1, do you have problem modifiying the SIM Contacts? The "EDIT" is not highlighted, that is not usable, but Phone Contact, "EDIT" is highlight, that is can edit. Any Registry change to fix this?

In my pocket pc i don't have your problem. i can modify the SIM Contacts.
I don't know any registry key for that but the solution is simple... don't use SIM Contacts because it are very limited
Duplicates the much smaller (2.5K because written in C) and same soft-reset proof functionality of the proven KaiserSimFix.
Working hard for you since the Kaiser and listed in the Advanced Config Wiki.
Strange how it doesn't work for you since it mods the same registry point.
I write this code because no other software, includes the KaiserSimFix, works in my HTC Touch HD with original ROM

I appreciate the learning experience of writing your own app, but you still failed to file a bug-report as you are asking of others.
Since the same registry point is modified, it's obtuse to conclude it to not "work" on the Touch HD especially with the lack of any other details.

Glad people are liking it so far. Have noticed a lot of downloads so fingers crossed some responses soon.
TF3D is basic of basic. I didn't include the HTC Home, I don't use it now the WM6.5 interface is improved. I also found that it killed battery life. I did include the HTC dialler, volume controls, task manager and gestures. The camera is also included.
Yes it does mean your 6.1 Serra can be on to 6.5 now. I have run it on my Serra for one week now. Battery is fantastic, up to 3 days with normal use. No issues found so far!
Looking forward to hearing back from you all. I'll make any mods people request.

Try going to Settings - Input and changing to full Qwerty. That's the HTC Touch Pro keyboard. Much better finger wise. SMS issue also gone which means the auto input using the HTC one works.
I'll get some screen shots tomorrow including using TaskFacade. Post tomorrow evening.

I have a out of the box XDA Serra, QuickGPS does not work.. keeps saying "Connection Failed". Will this ROM fix this?
Also do you need to a HardSPL reset first? When I try doing a HardSPL reset it says it cannot connect to my PDA. Im using Activsync and the phone is Syned up.

I have the same problems but winth EnergyROM v3. I think all these ROM are the same..

i dont know if its just me but when i open up camera i get a black screen but then when i take it, it shows the picture.

hello frnd. i have faced a few problems cooking wm6.5 roms recently. which if you find a solution then share with me asap. am not releasing newer version of my roms cause am busy with my exams and not able to get enough time to fix these bugs.
1st of all am using da_g's kitchen for wm6.5:
here are the problems i am having..
1st. i use youtube that does not require touch flo 3d. you only provided me with the oem. i open application. it loads the videos section. but when i click on any video to view it, i get an error " cannot play this video" i have tried to cook flashlite3 as well as the oone in da_g's kitchens but with no help.
2nd where can i get oem or cab for htc gesture 2. tried searching.
3rd Da_g's recording modification with wm dialer is great. but is it possible to add it to htc dialer?? although have sent him this ques but still if other could fine a soln.
4th how to change link to chome photos directry
5th i dont want date and time setting to start on clicking clock at chome. i dont want anything to happen when i click on clock in titanium.
6th the volume managers do install and work fine normally. but during call, i do not get the call volume display to change call volume. instead i get the usual system and ring volume control display and am unable to change call volume. i have tried both standard and topaz volume manager. could be a build issue but not able to fins a soln yet.
am using notification menu with buttons. could this be causing the issue.?

Sorry for the potentially newbie question but ....
Loving my Hero howeve I'm having a problem with the dialer where it is actually dialing the zero each time in a contact with a full international format
ie an adddress book entry +44(0)12345678 is dialed as +44012345678. In my blackberry and WinMo phones the dialer knew to ignore anything in brackets ie "(0)" but the Hero doesnt seem to do this.
Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing to fix this - I certainly dont want to go through some 700+ contacts and change all the mobile phone entries

Hallo everyone.
I know that there are little of us still using WM 6.5 but I am one of them (as a second OS) and I have one big problem.
Since few days my ringtones doesn't work, and I simply can't change selected ringtone, nevermind I tried it in settings/Sound&Display/Ring and Notifications or in Start/setings/Sound&Notifications. Whatever I choose everything still stay unchanged and phone doesn't ring. When I use the hardware volume keys, it beeps loudly. I also have problems with sounds or volume in other programs, and Windows Media does not open in the Start Menu - won't open any music file.
Does anyone know what might be a problem and how to solve it!? Thanks in advance.
