I have an HD2 running an nrg rom. I hit the abc below the xt9 key when typing messages and emails all the time and it messes me up.
Is there a way to totally disable the abc in typing messages and emails so that even if I hit the abc key it wont switch to abc?

My HD2 "wakes up" when a new SMS is recieved and displays the message in a box on screen.
This dosn't seem to work for Emails (unless the phone is on).... is that correct??
If this is by design, any hints to achieve this would be welcomed.
Thanks

i think that's by design. find out the registry edit to make the SMS wake up when it does & see if you can replicate that for emails.
Hi,
Anyone an idea why my GoKeyboard in Android 2.3.3 has T9 on for typing an sms but not for email? For email typing I need to activate it every single time...
(phonepad layout)
Also the normal layout shows the T9 button in email typing but in sms, there is no T9 button at all. Same GoKeyboard however???
Thanks.
after typing a text message you have to hit "done" and then "send" to send the message. anyway to just change it so that i just have to hit "send" if i'm done typing a message i obviously want to send it....
So I watching WWDC 2014 yesterday and really liked the Actionable Notification for SMS (dont care about other apps). IMO, its an essential part of phone and I really liked this feature. Anyways, for months now I been trying to find a popup quick reply app that lets me quick reply from lockscreen on my Nexus 5 running CM11. Some stuff I found was SMS popup which didnt work to good on handling multiple messages. I used EvolveSMS for a long time since it would unlock the screen to show you the popup sms and once you hit send it would bring you back to lock screen. However I was looking for something like ChompSMS where it did that but it gave me option to customize my popup menu, I have to option to open, close, reply, delete etc (I can customize buttons) for my popup screen. Plus I can swipe from one message to another if multiple are popping up at the same time. However I was more in line of something Apple introduced, simple and yet elegant, just sms straight from notification bar, pull down and type.
Anything like that?
use to be when suing V2T I could dismiss it when I tapped the phone. The keyboard would then come up.
Doesn't seem to be anymore. Is that an Android feature.
In other words, say I’m using V2T to enter some text and I want to switch to keyboard to edit. Use to be that when I tapped the phone, V2T would auto dismiss and SwiftKey would appear.
