Not yet, I think most people are waiting for another HVGA phone to get Froyo (ie HTC Legend) in the hopes that one of the devs would port it. I guess for now it's just a waiting game, but also remember that the Eris section has Questions and Answers subforum so please feel free to use it

Some people especially if they are new have a tendancy to over look where it says questions and answers and go straight in to eris android development which a froyo sense based rom could fall under android development??? He asked a simple question instead of coming off like a **** with a **** bag response "useless thread" why don't you try being a little polite and helpful being a senior member and guide the dude in the right direction nicely.... Yo dude not everybody is perfect and some people on 1st glance can over look something, lighten up a little bit!!!!! xda has a bad rep for people being so douschie, that was the perfect example!!!

Developing a Sense-based Froyo ROM would go in the development forum. Asking if one exists ? Nope...
I apologize if I came off as a '****', I too am guilty of 'useless posts', though when I joined I don't recall there being a Q & A section at least
In the XDA app considering that's all I use. Either way, I'm sorry but there isn't really a need to be throwing names around and what not.
As far as helping, you didn't. You instead took your time to point out all of what I did and or didn't. At least I told him where to go regardless of how I did so.

how do i get gps to work everything else works but the gps
I'm going to install a new rom on a friends X8 having convinced her that the roms on xda are far superior to the SE releases.
But i have noticed that there are so many releases and different roms. And since i will not be able to help her update continously i need to flash a stable rom that won't give her any trouble.
Could you guys give me some suggestions on what i should install?
The rom should have froyo at least and i wouldn't mind if it was based on some cyanogen release, but thats not a requirement.

You cannot simply port a sense 3.5 ROM (which is actually ugly) to a Phone with a 3D Display. To know that, you don't have to know a lot of development >.>

i think porting a rom with native wvga resolution to a device with qHD resolution requires a lot of resizing
and it's not about changing a few values and folders
and I think it will definitly come to our device.

depends on what you mean by "working". There are several that unfortunately have all the hardware that makes the Flyer the Flyer disfunctional, so IMO, no, there are no "working" ICS ROMs, yet. But, if those functions aren't important to you, then check them out.
You are asking the same question 2 times in this section and again in the Q&A section. Further the answers on your other questions are giving already in previous posts, so please read and use the search function before asking and stop spamming the forum with 3 times the same question.
