Today i've recived my fixed vibrant from samsung, download and recovery mode working. I've rooted, unlocked (by the tutorial with Reparation_nv_data.jar) and installed bionix final version. THEN I started to use the phone, internet works fine (i have 3G and i can download things and everything). But when i try to call or send a message it is not registered to network. Say that the SIM don't allow it. My imei has changed (or already come with this from service i don't know) to 004999010640000. There is some way to fix this?
did you do a backup of your original efs folder?
yes, i've just restore it. Now i get registered to the network but when i call it just keeps calling (don't do any sound) and if i try to end call it freeze
Hi all,
I'm currently on O2, and I'm about to switch to 3. I've put the new SIM in the phone, but when I try and make a call the dialler crashes and the phone reboots. I've read some other people have similar issues, but I can't seem to find a solution.
Has anyone got any ideas please?
Thanks for any help
..a little bump..
So, the solution to this is to flash the radio with the radio file on this thread:

using RSD lite
Could someone please help
I rooted my alcatel t'pop 4010X successfully and phone works fine connects attaches to mobile network and apps are stable however,
I am not able to receive calls or text messages. The call goes straight to voicemail. I initially thought my sim card was blocked by t-mobile, but tried my sim on a friend's phone - it works. Phone connects to wifi and browsing internet is fine.
I am fairly new to this rooting so please someone help how to get the phone back to receive calls and text ASAP please.
Is installing a CWM /recovery mod and flashing the ROM only option ?
I have been doing the research the whole day and a few people have reported the issue, I wonder whether I can get the setting in an 4010X settings as an apk installer to re-write the phones settings?
Many thanks
Need some expert here for help before I use ODIN to restore the factory firmware package.
Currently have G925W8 (Canadian Rogers) and currently running Int 5.1.1 rom on it. All of sudden my phone can't make or receive phone calls. I mean when I tried to make the phone call, it just ends right away, and no one can call in to my phone number either and goes to VM directly.
I tried different kernel (Arter/Hacker/UniKernel) and different rom combination...Still no GO...
I tried to apply Mr.X Audio Patch too (not sure how many patches are there, but I only download the one for Mr.X audio patch for 920T) and it doesn't work either.
I know in G925W8 forums talk about different BL/Modem, different combination and no go either.
Please note my phone works perfectly and I can get the internet connection (LTE) but just can't make the phone call. Even now I won't use the phone much but still need to have the phone work.
I think the major issue is when I am in the phone, go to call settings -> More Settings that give me an error "Failed to Read data Network or Sim card error".. I though it's my sim card, but i plugged it in my 1+1 and have no issue making/receiving calls..
Anyone that have any idea?!?
calling in out
had the same problem, in my case i installed an original samsung 5.1.1 and a kernel to root the phone, i got the same as you, everything worked but the phone.
only way to get out, is download from samsung firmware repository or sam mobile the EXACT ROM FOR YOU MODEL AND CARRIER (i cannot emphasize enough the CARRIER) believe it or not if you want to install an original rom you must respect the carrier for a custom rom it's something else altogether
in your case you odin with the rom of you phone/carrier IF IT WORKS (NOT ROOTED) I mean ccalling in/out, then install a different kernel in order to root.
if it works then your previous kernel (as was in my case) was the culprit
good luck
the carrier is where you bought the phone or the cell co affiliated to the store where you bought the phone, there's ALWAYS a link from "A" carrier in your phone
