can the HD2 transfer mp3 and pictures to another cellphone like nokia and samsung?
should be able to. Just make sure the device is set to "visible".
How is this a custom ROM question?

Hi,
My qtek is connected via USB to my laptop computer wich have a voice modem installed on it.
Now the question is, is it possible to use the qtek; to phone via the modem and use a bluetooth earphone to speak?
i would require a 3th party software program on both the pc and the xda
Ok, Rudegar and whitch one?
sorry if i dident make it clear that i had never heard about such a software
of cause that dont mean there is not such a software
but why use the xda at all i mean if you got a bluetooth headset anyway then why not just bond it with the pc and use it that way directly?
because I don t have a bluetooth connection on my pc. and instead buying 1 I was wondering if I could use my existing equipment.
Hi peeps,
My Charmer has developed a fault with the phone funtion, where you cannot hear or be heard except in speakerphone mode of via a head set.
This is under both T-mobile official WM5 ROM and a host of you good peoples WM6 ROM's
In the end I have had to resort to using an old Nokia phone to use for voice. But I still love my Charmer and wonder if it could be utilised as a stand alone MP3 player.
So my question to you ROM developers is... ...is it posable for you to cook a ROM based on WM6 but remove all traces of the phone facility and to load straight into HTC Audio Manager or Windows Media Player?
As a side question is it also posable to keep the use of Bluetooth for use with Wireless head phones.
Thanks in advance.
Sad Chamer onwer Tichy
Fido, you can cook the ROM yourself. First download the Charmer Kitchen.
Then edit an OEM ROM to remove all the other icon the the START menu (leaving only your custom skinned audio player).
There is a Bluetooth stack floating around in the other thread that you can use (created by Panasonic).
Its much better when you customise the ROM yourself. I doubt Vlodec or ChrBeck will have the time for your special project. This would be an easy ROM for you to cook, since you already have all the 'unnecessary drivers' (that you wouldn't use), while downloading only a themed audio player and new bluetooth stack.
Yea guy right. I don't have time and such a ROM can be cooked good by beginners. If you need help with cooking tell me I'll try to help.
Tichy, I'll cook the ROM for you. Give me the URL of the exact WM6.1 ROM, and your 'Media Player' of choice. I'll add the Bluetooth (stack), and have al the extra stuff removed.
Hi, I just bought a Galaxy S Player (not the cellphone) and I was wondering if there was a way to pair it with your cellphone (maybe via Bluetooth?) making you available to answer calls and make calls from the player instead of making them trough the cellphone. Same question for tablets...
I had a feature like this on my old Samsung P2 which allowed you to pair it with your cell phone via Bluetooth allowing you to pick up and dial calls (it even supported contacts)
Thanks!
My old Beats pill (Bluetooth speakers) are not able to pair with any new devices. Looks like I am not able to set it into discoverable mode.
I want to change my phone now.
I am looking for those paring files inside my (rooted cm12.1 ) device that I can copy into my new rooted phone so that the new phone connects to the beats pill directly.
Can somebody offer any help.
PS: it guess they should be similar to our wpa_supplicant.Config files.
Hi XDA,
I just bought a car (a Fiat Bravo to be exact) that has a radio with BlueandMe which unfortunately does not support streaming music into it and also doesn't have any aux port, it just has a usb port which can be used to play MP3's. However looking around the internet I can see that some people are buying a Bluetooth usb adapter that can be put into the usb port and somehow emulate an mp3 file which the car can play (something like this). I ordered one of those, but being Aliexpress this will take a few months to arrive.
So now what I'm wondering if there is a way that we can emulate that functionality directly via the phone itself. I search all around the internet for some way to do this, but maybe i'm not searching the right way or just maybe I'm just dumb and it's something really obvious.
The way I this it's supposed to work is that there will be a MP3 file created on the phone internal storage that would capture the sounds played by the phone apps (e.g YT music, Spotify & others) and this can be read by the car to play the aforementioned file.
Did someone heard or ever used something like this?
