EDIT: looking for a 3g one specifically

Rom and radio

First of all i want to say hello to everyone , now i have problems with my phone it looses signal and i have to remove the sim card 2 or 3 times until i can make again calls , the sim card is working on an old phone so is not the sim, so it could be the rom and the radio ? If it can , i also like to know if i change the rom (an official one ) it would also change the radio ? And one more thing I have the phone from NDL , but is in English and is a WWE rom if i change to a new rom from NDL section it will be in dutch (I DON`T WANT IT IN DUTCH) , and on the HTC official site is the only rom i cand download if i will flash my phone with other official rom from other country or the WWE version but a newer one than the one from NDL page I will have to flash something hdspl or something like that or just simply install it like a NDL rom ? Thank you !
P.S. Sorry for my poor English!

I would also like to mention that i get beside the signal looses a manila.exe don`t send error
BUMP sorry but anyone please i really really need to know this
Have you tried a hard reset?
That would be my first attempt at fixing your problem..... it should certainly fix the manila problem even if it doesnt work for the sim card thing.....
If that fails you'll be able to find everything you need to flash a new rom in the rom development section (in the first sticky) you can download any of the official roms from xda and try as many as you need to.....
Im not 100% sure but I think you might need to use hspl3 to flash the official roms if your hd2 is carrier branded.....
All the info you need is in the stickys in the rom section though.......
Thanks a lot !
I'd update that old ROM to the newest Stock ROM

I suggest updating to a newer radio if you are having problems with making calls. Look through the forums for comments from users with your provider and what radios they have success with. In addition I would flash a custom rom. For me, there was a night and day difference between stock and cooked roms.
It could, also be a bad sim card, seen stranger things ....

[Q] Clarification on flashing please !

I am attempting my first ever flash.
However, I am going to flash a cooked rom which is not compatible with my current radio. My first question is, do i have to flash the new radio first, and then the cooked rom, the other way around, or does the order not matter ?
Also, when i tried to flash the radio with cutomruu, when it confirmed what version to what version, it gave me my current roms version, and asked me if i wanted to update to the new radio version? shouldnt it give me old/new radio version?
can someone please help i really wanna get this done as soon as possible.
Thanks !
You need hspl first before you do anything . Then flash the radio , make sure it's a .50 never a .51 . After that do the rom . Most chefs (the people that make the roms) will recommend certain radios as they have tested the roms with these but really as long as it's a .50 radio it's really down to which one works best for you .
There are guides on flashing Roms at the top of the rom development page read it all carefully and you won't go wrong .
Hello, and Wellcome to the Forum.
1. you need HardSPL
2. If you have an Radio with an 51 like 2.07.51.2 then you need an Radio with an 50 Like 2.07.50.2 on most Roms
3. Flash the Radio befor the Rom
4. After Radio Flash you can go on with the Rom Flash.
Here are some infos more: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477
All an top of the HD2 ROM Development you find the Sticky Post ther are more Infos.

If the new ROM is not compatible with the old radio, then definitely flash the new radio 1st.
The ROM installer is telling you the correct info. I would surmise it was designed for flashing ROMs, so it would always give you the current ROM version. However, the same software is used to flash radios.
Hope this helps. I viewed some Youtube videos before I flashed. There are some showing both a radio and ROM flash for the HD2.

You can't change the radio version on stock ROM 3.14 sir.
Fore changing Radio you need HSPL, the one who isn't compatible with spl 3.03!
But if you have a High battery consumption it is strange, most users of radio 2.15 are satisfy. Try to clean your SD (Format)
