I would say no, but I think we are getting so close to a nand boot. Keep an eye out for cotulla's and company to make a post on how to flash magldr and the matching Rom. I'm feeling like this could happen anytime... but don't know for sure.
sent from my desire hd2

Could this missing gpio config for touchscreen have anything to do with the freezes?

does your startup has the "nand_boot=0" on the command line?? If not or unsure, just use my startup.. just make sure that "Android" is the default folder for your build..

SSPL 1.16 test version

I own a Kaiser and want to share my experience with Nike (Niki) users.
The attached file is a SSPL which should be started from Windows Mobile.
After you run it, you hopefully see a tri-color screen. This version is only to test usb connectivity. If it works I will add patches to bypass security so that you can flash any (cooked) ROMs.
This SSPL is based on the Nike shipped SPL v1.16
- download the attached file
- REMOVE SIM and SD CARDS !!
- copy sspl-1.16-test.exe to your device and run it
- after a few seconds "USB" appears on the display
- unplug and replug the usb cable
- check in device manager if there is a device "windows ce devices -> microsoft usb sync"
- try to connect with MTTY via USB and type "ResetDevice" which will reboot your Nike.
So does it work?
I can't test it myself, because I don't own a Niki ...
sorry to burst your bubble but we are allready playing around with a fully working patched version courtesy of olipro and cmonex

yeah he does know... we know all the functions in hermes SPL and newer SPL's didn't change in that respect.
we don't patch it out by default because usually it is not needed. though i recall a case when it was.
hope that helps

nightlies are one which comes everyday or so.
the 20-is one which was released at 20/04/12
the 21- is one which was released at 21/04/12.
Yea, where can the changelog be viewed? (In layman's terms)...
And I'm assuming we can just choose which one we want to install, meaning 04/21/12 doesn't rely on 04/20/12 being installed first...?

[Q] Address bug.

Hi, who have DTM region? After new update I9505XXUDMH9 for my laging address book. I try wipe data/factory reset but it didn't work.
I have the DTM with the same problem. Did try what you've tried and also did download the OS and did Odin it but the problem persists... I must mention that before this update I didn't have any problem with the dialer or contacts lagging... I guess we'll have to wait for the next update for the fix.
PS: I think this post should be in the i9505 general section.

Nope! I think that's irrelevant...
I've just read on a german forum that someone had contacted Samsung Germany about this problem and they tood him to wait for the next update... That's BS!

SM-T230NT Rom Development Cyanogenmod 11

This is a fairly square build for the sm-t230nt degaswifidtv qcom/msm8226
cm11_degaswifidtv-round2.zip
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9n_loxLasIVNnpVMV9BN21laUU/view?usp=sharing
bluetooth is not yet functioning.
My main interest in this excercise was to assemble working/workable sources to get development moving
for this device.
As of getting the recovery functioning correctly, all required is assembled to help any actual owner of this
device to begin taking it foward.
I will limit my effort in this to getting the bluetooth issue resolved,
and possibly getting dtv functions working.
Thank you @Erus Tyrannus for inquiring about recovery initially and testing this build and provding feedback to date.

G,
hi, you will want to edit build.prop to change screen density to 160
When i have an idea of what's wrong with bluetooth and get it sorted,
i will also adjust the next build for correct dpi setting.

No, i don't own the device.
I established the resources to build, so now you guys need a developer in ownership of the device to get things moving.
i am moving out of rom building and going back to the kernel and some other things.

I'm just doing a backup (just in case), then I'll flash that thing. Hold your thumbs!
Edit: All hopes destroyed, tries to boot up two times (womewhat bootlooping), then boots to recovery.
But I'd say, give it some time, sooner or later it'll work.
I'm waiting. ^.^

May be it's time to contact the developer about this problem?
It's strange to me that developer deside to upload not working build
The same here.. Not even showing a bootanimation but i am being optimistic. IMO the developer is just making this rom to work.

The problem is: Which boot.img should we take? If there's a an issue with the integrated one we'll have no choice other than wating for more developers to jump on the Marhmallow-bandwagon, since we cannot use Lollipop kernels on 6.0
