We all love the music!!! And I cant find an app that I can use for search, listen music and download it for free... There is such an application for PC named VKmusic. Its a lot easier than to search a lot of sites for a download link. There is also a site zaycevdotnet where you can search listen and download music.
OR there is such an app and cant use google in the right way

ok since this thread is about developing apps: how about developing an app that can spoof/change the hd2's Mac Address? should be pretty easy for you people.
I've searched this forum and found a couple of answers but none work. You can easily change that on a pc so why not on the hd2 since it runs on a miniature windows operating system.

Okay now I am jealous!
My wife's shiny new Desire has just had Kindle made available to it on the App Store.
Where can I source some good [ideally free!] ebooks for the HD2 and which EBook Reader should I get please?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=652252
i would recommend freda reader....its great.(now use the search option please before you post)
Thanks. I knew about the ereaders but didnt see this thread for ebooks themselves.
Do I need that indexer as well as the Freda Reader you mention above?

indexer is for the ereader tab whereas with freda you just install the app and that's that.
Great thanks.
I will give it a whirl
My favorite reader software is mobipocket (free). You can also use there Creator software to convert between different formats.
What type of books are you into?
If sci-fi then google "5th imperium". Its a site set up by Baen books with loads of books available but they are all sci-fi / fantasy.
You can download them in various formats.
Perfect. I am indeed a Sci-Fi and Fantasy nut
thanks petest got a couple of good reads for my flight and I know where to get plenty more now from 5th Imperium!
I cant get to grips with mobireader - cant even get it to see the books I have on my mem card.
Tried Freader and so far so good.
You can also try sites like the Gutenberg project. It offers tons of free books(mostly the old, classic stuff). For illegal free eBooks I recommend this site.
My favorite reader is e-reader , but it has bug on htc hd2 it does not remember theme setting . To convert books I use Desktop Stanza or quick PDB . And you have to " install books " or go online ereader website and create your book shelf , then with htc you go online login to ereader and download your books you put there . It sounds like lot but once you do it few times , it's breeze .

LoL pretty damn hilarious
You have a nice sense of humor there Raudi
I just hope I wont get any problems with the moderators because I posted a link to a site where you can find warez
But since the post hasn't been deleted yet and I have received no warning, I hope the moderators wont find the post
ps: I don't want to start a discussion but warez or links to warez sites (other than the one I provided) shouldn't be posted here on XDA IMO. It's bad for software developers and perhaps even XDA itself. If you really want warez, you will find them yourself (including Trojans etc.) but not on XDA-developers.
Hello!
I just started a new youtube channel called OfficialGameDubstep and our goal is to get people to listen to dubstep and have our songs published on there!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrEnONDt8nc
Now i came up with this idea of making a app that shows ALL our videos in a rss feed way like a list and a little thumbnail next to it and you can click it and wath the video.
Now my question is (Never made an app before...) How and what program('s) should i use???
Why don't you make a website mobile-friendly in html5 ? This way it will work on different devices and resolution (iOS/Android/..) without even installing anything !
If you know html and php, that's a gooood start already.
Sencha touch is a framework that might help you, but there are even tons of tutorial on html5 out there.
If you don't want to stick to youtube, I can point you to soundcloud (also have html5 support)
If you like dubstep, please consider this and this also
expanding on what ell3 suggested, you can use phonegap to turn html5 into native apps for android, ios, bada, webos, sybmian, etc.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A

Sencha Touch is one option, but have you taken a look at Davinci Studio? It's a dev tool similar to Sencha, but based on HTML5. It also has a jQuery framework...so it's pretty universal and a lot of devs can get the hang of it pretty fast. You can download it for free at their site and ask them questions and stuff on their forum.
Have a look at http://jquerymobile.com/
I use this framework for my mobile device pages.
##FREE VERSION NOW AVAILABLE. LOOK BELOW FOR LINKS
Check out the new app BeamLink. It allows you to beam links(youtube videos, blog posts, pdfs, ebooks etc.) from your Windows Phone to any device with a browser. That's right, IPADS, ANDROID TABLETS, WINDOWS TABLETS/DESKTOPS/NOTEBOOKS, SmartTvs, PS3, XBOX360, Mobile Phone and just about any device with a browser. The best part is that Absolutely no set up required. Just point your target device's browser to 'beamlink.in'.
Description from the Store:
THE COOLEST AND QUICKEST WAY TO BEAM LINKS TO YOUR OTHER DEVICES
Are you always watching videos and reading webpages/blogs etc. on your Windows Mobile?
Do you often wish that you could read/watch your links on devices with bigger screens like tablets/desktops/laptops or smart TVs?
But, you don't want to go through the effort of finding that specific webpage/video again?
Well, BeamLink to the rescue!!
All you have to do is open 'BEAMLINK.IN' on a browser and you can 'send' all kinds of links including videos from youtube etc. to it.
NO SETUP REQUIRED! NO ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE REQUIRED!
All you have to do is download the app to your Windows Phone.
Steps:
1) Copy the link you want to beam from your Windows Phone.
2) Open the BeamLink app and use the paste option.
3) Open beamlink.in on the target device's browser and scan the code.
4) Voila!
Note: You can even type a URL to beam. A history of shared URL's is maintained for easy resharing.
SINCE I CANNOT POST LINKS. PLEASE SEARCH FOR BEAMLINK ON WINDOWS MARKETPLACE
I have migrated to a better server to handle the increased users. QR CODE ERROR will occur for a few hours. I'm working on getting it up and running. Sorry for the delay.
*****NOW WORKING******
Hello everybody,
I am looking for an app to view p7s files on my Nokia 8 with Android 9.
So far each app was compatible with Windows or OS.
Does anybody know apps for Android, too? Thanks.
Best regards,
Arye
Before today I never knew what s .p7s file is. But a quick search revealed that it is an email message that includes a digital signature. I have come across this website: "https://techspirited.com/how-to-open-p7s-files" which explains how to open it on android and mentions an app named: "X509Tools".
I could not find such an app on the Play Store, only on other Android website which will require sideloading, however I did find an app on the Play Store which mentions that is can open such files, R2Mail2.
R2Mail2 link: "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=at.rundquadrat.android.r2mail2&hl=en"
Try that, and see if it maybe works, I have never used it before though.
First of all, please note that there is a difference between 'filter' by date and 'sort' by date. I am fully aware of how to filter by the date, but would like to sort by date with videos in bing. I am trying to embed videos of a specific search term into a web based home page I am working on and have them sorted by date. I am not partial to bing, but have found that most other search engines don't allow their results to be embedded. So bing or another search engine with videos, as long as it can be embedded, would work. Any help would be appreciated.
What has Bing ( a search engine ) to do with Windows 11 OS this forum is dedicated to?

I'm using a windows 11 operating system on the computer I'm trying to get it working on. It was either this or 'Apps and Games'. Neither of which felt like it was a great fit for it as it's a browser and not a typical app. Either way, still trying to figure out how to do this.
With that said from earlier. Is there a better forum for this post? And really it's a search engine and not a browser that I am asking about, so even less of a definitive of a topic as it does that same regardless of what operating system or browser you are using.
