Need Help with bionix 1.9 w/stock kernel - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I just updated my Samsung Vibrant to the new bionix 1.9 w/stock kernel using Rom Manager. After updating the phone and the phone reboot itself. The phone is stuck on the boot page that says vibrant Samsung and will not fully boot up. Can someone help me on how to either restore the phone or knows what causing the phone not to fully boot up? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Problem in 1.9 ROM that unfortunately was corrupted (maybe in filesharing hosting). Now correct ROM was uploaded t oserver, but you have a problem.
If you have previous version of bionix ROM into your \sdcard, try to flash it using Clockwork. This may help to reanimate your Vibrant, and by next step you can reflash correct 1.9.1 ROM. If not, use Odin to refalsh stock ROM.

Ok, yeah he should of searched before he posted.. But how about helping him out & telling him to search next time, instead of flaming him?
To the OP: Please follow THIS guide.

Restored Phone to T959UVJI6
Thanks for all your comments guys. It was late last night when i updated it to bionix 1.9.1 w/stock kernel and run into the problem. But this morning i research it and restored the phone to T959UVJI6. Peace.

Closed & moved thread...if you need help ask in the rom thread.

ok this is what i dont get.. You're smart enough to know about Xda Development Forums, you're smart enough to root and flashing your phone. However you're NOT smart enough to A) Google Bricked Vibrant (which will show you MANY MANY posts on the same topic ) B) use the search tool ??? Cmon seriously, I come here to learn and maybe help a person in need if I can or ask a question if i have done my research and still no clue.. I almost posted today on how Odin and Cappy works b/c i have one at home that i flash from time to time, but guess what? i read and found my answer.. sorry to rant.....
To Answer your question look up ODIN and viola all ur problems solved.. Next time create a backup so you can always fallback in case of a bad/non compatible Flash..
Samsung may be coy with the official Froyo, but I cannot give them enough props for making a virtually unbrickable phone.
+1 had my scare a while back lol

Need help to help my friends fix his phone please

Hey guys, I need some quick help on flashing a new rom/kernel onto my buddies Bell Vibrant GT-I9000M. I am guessing this is the right section since it is called a vibrant lol as I was confused to maybe post in the I9000 Section.
I own a Captivate so I don't know much about the vibrant on how to go about things, figured it would be similar.
I been searching but been having a hard time, and he needs his phone back quick. Was wondering if you guys could help me on how to just get his phone working again. His phone can only go into download mode, recovery 3e, and stays on a constant boot screen. Makes things hard to do. I wanted to do a oneclick odin to stock fix like that captivate has but I don't see one anywhere here. If there is then this whole thing would be much easier.
If not, any one mind giving me some steps on how to use odin 1.7? I figured I'd go with the darky rom and suggested kernel.
Thanks in advance

Looks like your'e in the wrong section, there are lots of threads in the Q&A section about this which is probably where this needs to be posted anyway.
you know how to get in to download mode but you dont know how to odin hmmmm. check the i9000 forum on the right way to get back to stock or whatever then flash away it should be a sticky or thread there explaining how to odin back.
It's different... ur friend vibrant looks more like I 9000then u. S version vibrant.
And don't post it in development section or u will get flamed.. by troll..

[Solved] Vibrant showing GT-i9000 Screen!

I've searched for about the last 3 hours for a way to fix this, but couldn't find answers that helped. I'm hoping someone here can help me. I attemped to flash a rom for a GT-i9000 on my SGH-T959. I didn't catch it until it was too late. Odin said failed and my phone wouldn't turn on. I got into download mode and flashed back to stock. Now my phone displays the GT-i9000 boot screen and then switches to the Vibrant boot screen. Is there any way to fix this screen? Any help is greatly appreciated.
re-flash the Vibrant sbl.bin.. its in the Dev section
I used to have this problem, flash a Rom here like Trigger, and go back to stock, but if I were you, I would stay in a rom. Because stock sucks.

I've tried this with several different ROMs and still have the same issue. It wouldn't let me in CWM unless I loaded the I9000 recovery. I hate stock ROMs and was looking for a better one. Just didn't look at the device it was for until it was too late. Thanks for the advice though.
Odin to Eugenes 2.2, not the Froyo that doesn't brick, the other one - someone will probably follow this post with the name of it, usually do in the several other similar threads. It contains the proper boot.bin and sbl.bin that you need to get rid of the i9000 splash.

Are you talking about Eugene’s “unofficial” 2.2 Vibrant JK2 Package? That's the only other one I see besides the "non brick" one. Thanks for you help with this...
Thanks jellette! The Eugene file I downloaded worked great! Thanks for your help!

new 4.1.2 customs roms and reverting to stock for warranty

hello guys i did some research and i have only found Da-G's thread which is the old revert to stock. I currently have an issue with my note, and i called warranty and my new device should be here on Monday. i will have to ship my old device back, thus ill need to revert it back to stock. whether it be GB or ICS. is there any insight on this. im afraid of using DA_G's odin.tar and bricking the device since i believe it is a GB odin. any light shed on this would be phenomenal.
needs to be in q&a

[Q] [Help] S4 Bricked in a Unique Way

Hey guys,
Before anyone rushes into flaming, I just want to note that I've been a member here long enough to know how to search the threads before asking a question that has already been answered. This is the reason for the title. Anywho, here is my situation. I got my hands on a brand new S4, used it stock for a bit, then decided to root it (couldn't help myself.)
Post rooting, everything went great. The ROM (JellyBeans) was running smooth, life was peachy, until I decided to let my flashing addiction get the best of me and I decided to try a new ROM (no offense beanstown, just trying something new.) Anyways, I went into recovery, flashed the new ROM, of course wiping the device 4 times, as has become my habit. Went to turn it on, and the "Custom" screen pops up, then the phone just turns off.
I tried using Odin to return it to stock, but unless I'm using the wrong file, I'm getting the same result. Odin seemingly runs fine, but still no booting. Any ideas? The file I'm using with Odin is VRUAMDK_NoWipe. If there is a different one I should be using, please be kind enough to include a link for me. Thank you.
Just flash the full odin back to stock the version that is still rootable. That should do the trick some times not wiping is the issue.

I mentioned in my original post that I had attempted to use Odin to restore it back to stock. At this point, it doesn't really matter to me whether I can root or not, I'd just like it to turn back on. Shoot, I'd be happy with a boot loop right about now.

The no wipe mdk Odin file has caused issues with me. There is another Odin file floating around that should get you working again, although it causes full wipe.

The actual Odin file takes forever to download, I believe the extractable file is easier to download.
EDIT: yeah download the exe ,link

reflash your verizon kernel, it will boot, you really didn't need to do odin, guess that is every ones quick fix. and if you are doing odin, after it flashes get into recovery and do a factory reset.
