i never had this problem before..USEING ...REVOLUTION 2.0. when im conected to the wifi, its working only for a few second, then show up... cant recive data... i have to disconect and conect again... some times is just not working at all... i dont know if its gona do the same with 3g or H... i dont have signal here... THANX FOR ANY SGESTION...

I am facing an issue with wifi direct which is kinda weird,
I can normally turn it on, and connect to other devices and even send, but i cannot however receive anything...
my friend tries to share something with wifi direct , and finds my name under list of available wifi direct devices.
I get the popup to accept the connection, and then his phone goes into waiting
and my phone never shows the pop up to accept or cancel
So my friend's phone keeps waiting.
It was already working normally, dunno why it isnt anymore
I can normally send stuff however using wifi direct. so at least i can tell it isnt a hardware issue
I am using checkrom v4 mod with speed mod kernel
and i already wiped both dalvik and cache partitions
also i tried to change themes and kernels with no luck
Any body has any idea what i can do to debug this?

Well , First i haven't post a post on here in a while . Because i mostly use to get answer from people saying the answer it clearly solved or something . Anyway , My Atrix 4G just now got the wifi and bluetooth error thing . I don't know how to fix that , I looked that up . But Now my most recent and annoying thing is that My Atrix freezes then reboots each time it goes to the lock screen for 5-10 sec's. I don't know why . I went back to stock it does it , i did everything. It just random reboot's all the time , but yet it seem's fine if it doesn't go to the lock screen sometimes. Can anyone help or have the same problem that solved ? thanks

or make sure its on the latest Radio

thanks for this bt the problem is sometimes it starts working automatically bt if i restart my phone theres min chance of its working so please resolve this i tried *#*#4636#*#* to change phone settings from there bt theres no result
so i got S3 a week ago . i had many friends having it i even helped them to update it many times .it came preloaded with 4.0.4 ... but i directly updated it to 4.1.2 using odin ...and now runing on XXEMB1
done factory reset ...and rooted it ...after a while of use i noticed that the network data connection and the wifi get disconnected every time phone went to sleep .
...so naturally ...i tried another factory reset ..but no joy so i did another flash using odin without rooting this time
and yet wifi problem remained ..but could stay connected to data after couple of days went back to losing both if it goes to sleep
i have tried the *#0011# fix but nothing changed
in wifi settings ,,,it is set to always stay on during stay ....
i would appreciate if some one can point me to the right direction ...since replacing the handset is no option :/
is it a faulty handset ...cuz i used the same firmware over my fiancee's phone and it is fine ...same for some of my friends ...so i think it is about this phone in particular ....any help plz !

Dunno if this helps, but try juice defender, it has a lot of options to configure, and as i remember, it has one to keep conectivity on while sleep

tried it ...but nothing ..still the same ..data and wifi keeps disconnecting when the phone sleeps ..:/

Someone please help me out of this ! Have been trying to correct it for a while! Nothing seems to work out for me. Thought of posting it on XDA. I hope u guys help me asap... \\\\first time on XDA/////
So the problem is: I have an android phone Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i. I have got wifi , belkin router in my home , which i use to connect my laptop and cell phone to browse on internet! There is no problem in browsing from laptop indicating there is no problem with my wifi settings or anythng related to wifi!
BUT, on my phone, when i turn wifi 'ON' , the wifi works for 2-3 minutes then it automatically disconnects and then instantly reconnects itself! I dont really have problem with this thng but the other day i was upgrading my swype to swype beta and had to download this application but the app is too large sized that in the middle of the downloading my wifi went off thereby stopping the download(n sadly its non resumable). I am a huge fan of swype and have been using it for quite a while now. I want it upgraded at any cost!
I know this wifi turn on/off problem is faced by many but this is quite a headache nw! I have come to know about 'POWER SAVING MODE' n stuff, but sadly i can't even get to that menu coz i dont know how to!

Do this
Wifi setting>advanced settings>wifi sleep policy>never.
Or follow screenshots.
Also ask your questions in the question section next time
