Im sure you are all just as thrilled as i am to finally have the 2.1 update on our phones !!
But.. currently im having some problems connecting to my home wifi network. I can see the network on the phone, i can also enter my details, but i cant get the thing to connect.
Is anyone else having problems ? Or does anyone know a possible solution ?
PS: A BIG BIG thanks to the people that made this happen with the flashtools nordic firmwares etc !...
no problems at all with wifi so far.... works like a charm
I have a problem with my company's AP. It's a Zyxel P-320W. I can't find any wireless signal from it ( i have internet conection from some AP around my company, but it's unstable). Sorry for my bad English. Thanks so much!

Using an unlocked T-Mobile Vibrant in Canada.
Everything works OK except a huge issue, many people seem to have the same problem.
Once it lost signal, it will keep searching for the network for up to half an hour, it may see the network but will not register. I tried to play with the settings with no luck. The phone got the latest upgrade but it did not help either.
Hence my question:
Is there anything I can do to fix it ? Do I have to wait for Froyo hoping it will solve the problem ?
Any advice will be appreciated.

Hello, since my last phone was S. Wave 8500 and the 3g+ connection was much better, i use a lot the my phone as acess point, i lose connection many times, when i travel by train, and in Wave i didnt.
I have VR2.4.2 rom, KH3 modem and my network provider is Optimus.
Can anyone point the right direction so i can have the same good use of mobile acess point?

Ive heard of people here in spain using the KG2 modem.Give it a try i think its suppose to be good.Might work in your region too.If not try another
ive got the correct apn settings and my phone connects to the 3g network. but theres no 3g internet. any help guys?
im on oodie prime x unlocked bootloader. also ive tried thmod rom and cm9 rom but get the same problem. also if anyone had any similar problems, is this a handset related problem or is it a carrier problem?
not sure what the problem is but looks like some other people r having the same problem is there a fix i just bought this phone and if the wifi is not going to work i need to return it thanks
ok so it seams that i can not send any info out but can recive data also do not have the problem on other wifi networks. i took a router from a friends net work that phone worked with and hooked it to my modem still will not work. but I'm on dsl he is not don't think that could matter but maybe. so who is going to figure this out there could be a reward if some one can fix it. thanks

some month ago I damaged my phone after 3 great years with it.
I bought a new one via ebay and here is the problem. He said for sure its all fine with it. There should be no problem for sure.
First I had somehow reception issues. Sometimes the connection to my provider was off and sometimes it had 3 of 4 Bars. People told me its not a flashable modem issue, but a issue where i have to change some hardware.
so did I, changed the antenna and the receiver and still nothing changed.
I always want to find and fix the problem by myself, but now i'm at some point where i really dont know what else i could do instead giving it to a repair service.
what i did? changed all modems and stockroms which I could get from the internet and install them one after another and checked my connection via "Network Signal"
the biggest issue there was, at home the connection to my provider was good and at my girlfriends home it was totally broken.
maybe anyone could help me out there?
i just read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1667326 maybe i should change the back plate where most of the stuff have connectors? like the GPS does? because if i dont have it on i wont be able to connect anywhere.
My Provider? Vodafone D2 and in other Cellphones the SIM-Card doenst have any problems with the connection/reception
