I want to buy Jtag for debricking my old htc magic, which type is recommended with limited budget? Can I use jtag that suggested from wiki.cyanogenmod.com's trouble shooting? Cause it cost only $50 and $70, (but riffjtag costs $150)

Need little help with purchase (HTC HD2)

I'm ready to buy new HTC HD2, but i have a questions.
How to recognize an original Htc Hd2. I afraid that i'll buy clone.
What i should know before i go to shop or make a transaction through intenet.
Help me, please.
Where are your buying from (eBay, CL, other)?
Through internet, you will always take chances. Watch for the vendor's reputation before you close the deal.
If you're going to shop in person, then I suggest you to take someone who's owned an HD2 with you to help you out.
i budgeted to pay more so i could buy from a large reputable seller so i could make sure i was not buying some dodgey grey import, first choice was amazon but they where out of stock at the tie so bought from play.com instead

I was thinking the same mate... it's the best way i think.
eBay is generally safe, as long as you use your common sense. There are some reputable sellers (bu sure to check their feedback, including the rare negatives they got), and eBay itself has a working claim resolution (although people recommend using PayPal's instead of eBay's - they're the same company but PayPal CS might be better).
Also make sure you read the conditions of the phones, included accessories, any defects if exists, and seller return policies. And one more thing: there are many HD2s sold as broken. They're clearly labeled so, just make sure you don't buy one.
(I personally bought mine last week from eBay, and it's very clean. Of course I had to pay slightly more).
However I don't know which version is the best for UK. I'm in US right now, and TMOUS version was the best for me. I think you cannot make use of 3G in Europe with this model because of radio chip differences, however it has more storage - 1GB, and I'm already a TMOUS customer. (Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong).

No, the camera is a $60 camera. The HD, is $60 (external). That leaves you paying $630 for a Evo 3D!!! Even at $150 a piece, camera/hard Drive, you are still paying $450 for a $350 phone... Does that sound like a good deal to you?
camera
Hard Drive
Evo 3D going for $350 NEW! <<<NO Contract
Thank you
Thanks Friend,
but here in my area the showroom cost is $760 for a new EVO 3D GSM, i was little bit confused now
whether to go for Ebay one or the showroom piece

If it helps I have my EVO 3D for sale. $ 315 and it has the old Hboot and has been rooted, or I can flash it back to stock. I don't mean to hijack your thread, but let me know I have a thread up in the Marketplace. EVO 3D is CDMA BTW.

Best place to buy an online display/touch replacement

Hello,
I've managed to crack my screen (jut took the phone out of my pocket), and of course, Sony blame me for this, so they won't honor the warranty. No matter if I showed them the pages where Sony is repairing this screens for free on other parts of the world.
They want to charge me $600 USD, so obviously I'm trying to buy a new display/lcd combo online, where I can find prices varying from $150 to $250 USD. The problem with this approach is that most of the vendors are not well known for me, so I don't know if they are worth of my trust.
Do any of you have a recommendation for an online vendor?
Thank you very much for your help. I've been without my phone for one month now, and I really miss playing with it.

I haven't personally used it but try etradesupply, they're selling the Z ultra display for $204.
Erica Griffin from Youtube has used them so at least they are trustworthy i guess if she recommended them.

Riffbox

Hi all..i got myself a rifffbox and the jtag kit which cost a little alright as i was thinking of doing some unbricking of my own for the mega or maybe some other phones, now if anybody else has a riffbox do they want you to pay $79 USD to get a license to use it as that is kinda steep on top of the cost i already spent on the items..just making sure this is true as the cost seems high..or is there a way just to use it...or is the license required..as if i have to pay this in the end i will. :silly:

mate 10 pro screen repair/replacement

Hey folks, I'm hoping you might be able to help me out here. I cracked my screen and contacted Huawei support for help. Because I purchased my international version outside of markets they support, they're not willing to help, in any way. I wasn't even trying to get it fixed for free and was willing to pay for a fix but still, no luck. Can anyone here speak to how difficult it is to repair this on my own or refer me to a reputable company that's willing to do this via mail?
I'm based in the SF Bay Area and my research has lead me to online replacement digitizers/screens for roughly $205 usd but I'm not sure about the quality or reliability of these parts (https://www.witrigs.com/oem-lcd-screen-with-digitizer-for-huawei-mate-10-pro-titanium-gray).
Any help or referrals is greatly appreciated!
Wow, sorry to hear that. I cannot recommend you to do it by yourself, it's very hard and most likely you will lose the water resistance...
