[Q]Rock Band App. - myTouch 4G Themes and Apps

Hello everyone. Quick question (sortve) My little cousin bought the full game of Rock Band that came with the stock rom. I called tmobile to see if i could get a refund but they said "once its purchased we can refund" blah blah the usual. I asked her what would happened if i were to put another rom on my phone? (to troll) and she said as long as you pop the same sd card in, you willl have the fully purchased rock band app (she didn't understand what i mean. unsuccessful troll). LIES. I pulled the apk from stock, flashed Iced Glacier, installed it on Iced Glacier and it's telling me to rebuy it.
What do you guys recommend I do?

When you install a new rom all of your purchased apps should show up in the download section of your market, as long as you sign in with the same google account u used to purchase the app.

That is true but this isnt a market app. Im not sure if it sends you to the market but it doesnt look like it. Since its comes on the phone as a stock trial it looks like it just bills your tmo account directly and unlocks the app. I havent tried these so Im not 110% on that. But from the looks of it, it seems these have nothing to do with the actual market/google account but your tmo account instead.

you need the /data/data folder of the game , i am uploading the full game files i made a thread on the vibrant section , i can also post the link if you want

My brother wanted to know how much it cost to get it on his phone so i pressed buy full game thinking it would ask me for a credit card number and telling me how much it would be. It is 6.99. Never asked me for a credit card. I found out that i bought it by checking my account at my.tmoible.com. I told 611 my brother wanted to know how much it was so i pressed it thinking it would ask me for a credit card number and telling me how much it was. I actually never even ended up getting the game. I was charged for something i do not have. So the rep said that if you dont have the game and never wanted it in there first place they will give me a refund.
Not sure why they did not do the same for you.
Hope you get it figured out somehow.

there is a /data/data folder with all the rockband **** on my sdcard. should i push that folder?

shouldnt you do at least a little bit of research or have experience with a problem in order to give a working solution? otherwise you make yourself look like an ass. just saying.

IF it was really bought, then just re-purchase. Call CS and tell them it made you pay for it again. T-Mobile will see the previous transaction and credit the second cost back. They will not double charge. This can be done in 5 minutes.

Search for my thread of RB on vibrant section, download the file and push the CA.jamdat folder to data/data or just the RockBand_trust5 file in the folder

Use titanium backup, it will take you yo where you where at at the point of backup, in other words, it will give u a saved and paid for game, it is likely charged to your bill like need for speed is on Verizon, and I switch ROMS A bit so trust me it works.

once i get this working i will deff try this.
xalucardx, im still having trouble doing this. please bear with me and if could, can you give me detailed instructions on how to push everything? i tried pushing the ca.jamdat folder to /data/data from adb but i get this error
C:\Users\Jordan\Desktop>adb push ca.jamdat.flight.rockband /data/data

i tried doing it through root explorer manually but nothing.

Delete the folder from /data/data/ca.jamdat folder first then adb push ca.jamdat.rockband /data/data , you are using the one I uploaded?

yes i am using the one you uploaded, and i deleted the folder form data/data but im still getting the "no such file or directory" error.
EDIT: I used root explorer and it worked. thanks tho.

This happened to me as well with Asphalt 5. I had to factory reset and lost the game and they wanted me to pay 6.99 again for a 4.99 game....lol I did get it refunded through customer service the funny thing is now it won't download from market and I am not paying t-rob again to lose itin a couple weeks. GRRR DAMN T-mobile.
