Where to doload custom skins for the dock? I dont like the skins that come with the ones you have to purchase. I did a google search but came up with little info on dloads. I see some sick dock skins on alot of screen shots posted here. Can someone shed some light? Thanks!
I use LauncherPro Icons. Well, it's icons, but they do have different dock backgrounds. hope that helps.
Go to the launcher pro forums, there's a thread there under customization for themes.

Whats up everyone, im sorry if what i am looking for is posted some where and i cant find it. Im looking for a place to find dock bars if yall guys know a link to where i can find them, i would really appreciate it. and one more thing what do i need to install the dock after i find the one i want.
Not sure where you get them, because I don't use a dock bar, but you need a launcher like adw launcher, I have the ex version and its totally amazing what toucan do to your homescreens with this app.
if you have adw when you set a theme you can choose from a list of docks they supply as well
I thought someone might like to see a new themed sense...iv e used these on royal panache and they work awesome

Yeah, I grabbed a few of these. I like the circuitboard one. I use ADW EX, so I'm mostly skinning the notification bar with this, but it's still a cool touch.
Grabbed a few, thanks for posting OP.
So, maybe some of you have seen this launcher around. I think it's freakin fantastic, but there are a couple problems that would be cool to have someone fix.
What's Important:
The No Corners version from the original post (link below) is the only one that is fully compatible with qHD. Problem is that the dock isn't quite aligned correctly when I install. I'd like to see that fixed.
Secondly, there is not qHD compatibility for w/ Corners launcher.
Not so important, but would still be sweet:
Ability to change # of rows and columns on home-screen (not app drawer), # of screens and also hide icon labels.
I have no deving ability whatsoever. So if anyone likes the launcher and feels like tackling this one, lets work something out!

Bummer. No one feels compelled eh?
Hi There!
I am on CheckROM v4, I am really liking it.
I have been running SPB Shell 3D for quite a while and I quite like it, but I am wondering what the current best launchers are and what the pro's and con's are?
Anyone know of a breakdown of the most popular I can read up on?
I have a license for ADW Pro.
Not a breakdown as such, but an exhaustive list of all launchers known to mankind with discussion is here.
I've tried ssLauncher recently and I really liked it... Now I'm on Launcher7 'cause i like changing my homescreen style!!
Sent from my Galaxy S II powered by CheckROM
Currently go launcher - tons of customisation
i don't think there is one really ultimate out there, 'cause it always depends on your personal requirements.. have a look into that http://www.xda-developers.com/android/android-launcher-round-up-xda-tv/
cheers
^^
This.
It's a matter of taste. My perfect launcher would have:
Resizable dock icons
No stupid home icon
Ability to hide status bar
No dock (or transparent dock)
No indicator of page or scrolling icon
Folder support
Extended gesture support
Small footprint
Ability to hide icons
If anyone can tell me of one launcher that fulfills every one of these criteria, I'll give them a big sloppy wet internet kiss...
Currently on Launcher Pro. Doesn't do #1 and limited with #7, and development stopped 400 years ago (which is why it would be the only app I'd take a warez version of, if I did that kind of thing. But I don't. So I haven't. Honest).
Nemus and FTL look promising - will be looking out for them.
Anyone know of any other-shaped launcher besides grid-based ones? I know there are a few rotary "launchers" listed on the market, but they are actually widgets for launching, not a full blown launcher.
I'm just kinda sick of rectangular positioning everywhere I look.
I was looking through this the other day to see what my options were. Maybe you'll find what you want here.
