cooking rom with sense - TG01 General

Hi everyone
I have successfully built a new rom 21914 but I'm stuck with adding sense to it.
I've looked everywhere and didn't find any guide how to cook sense to non HTC devices using old kitchen.
Can anyone guide me where to look?

hi wafeeq, sorry i cant help you here ive been interested in trying to cook my own rom, but dont have to time. i think you could get some advice from miro, he is a expert on these roms!
i look forward to hearing from your releases!

+1 good thread first of all mate
+1 Oly, I have been trying myself as well, I have made stock rom myself with few packages added, but couldn't figure out how to do Sense and never got around asking in forums. I hope Miro or Leeston - will reply you on this as they have produced very stable sense roms for TG01. FFboy and Aragon - I don't think cook any more here
Also, a 'tutorial' thread by any of these experts will help us too

yeh! we could do with alot more roms on our forums! i was thinking of trying a variant of cooking htc sense 2.1+wm6.5 and htc sense 2.1+wm6.5
we havent got any other roms with different versions of sense so i thought i would try. it is much harder than i thought!
sense 2.1 is a very good combination woth our tg01's. i have been ysing the cab version with ffboys 6.1rom, but there are still some bugs. im going to use mamgosoras rom as a base!

i think mangosoras rom as a base is way forward - it's SO fast and stable!!
All we need is sense cooked inside it! Either 2.1/2.5. I know it's 6.5.5 but i love the stability!

yeh! his builds are nice and ready for open cooking. he also has a great 6.1 clean build. i have no experience with cooking sensd though im trying to find oem packages for sense 2.1 now.

hello friends, hello wafeeq,
the best way is download a orginal htc rom (E.g. htc rhodium) from here:
http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/
then extract the exe wit winzip. then you become a .nbh file.
use osKitchen Zero v1.31 to dump the ROM File. now you become all SENSE Packages in "visual- style"
Use TotalFire - Package Converter and convert the packages "VtO"
"visual to old-style"
now you have cook- ready OEM Packages.

a 2.1 SENSE ROM (olyloh6696 suggestion) or?
SENSE 2.1 is not so komplex and is good for beginning.

also, but search older rom relases- is with 2.1 also.
...search, search, .... is the half work

thanks miro for offereing help! i gott find soome free time though, before i can start!
i chose sense 2.1 because we havent got any roms based on this, all of them are 2.5
it is also very quick, and gives much better battery. it uses less resources so you have even more ram and is almost exactly the same as 2.5. the only difference is the quick links and a few other stuff. (but you still got the program tab)

no. EXT Packages is for VisualStyle Kitchen. You need OEM Packages (oldStyle) or convert EXT Packages with TotalFire - Package Converter to OEM Packages.
exremly important the SENSE "key" Packages must have
.xml (e.g. Home_Pages.xml) and or initflashfiles.txt
a lot of SENSE Update Packages have the not. you need allways this entrys in
initflashfiles.dat from OEM_Lang_0409 Folder.

look in temp\log.txt
Is a error log. Look in the end of this txt file.
Or send it me, the last lines frm log.txt

I got it
completely empty RGU files
Should I delete them? or just write regedit4?

in firs line write regedit4
last line one must be empty.
or send me the log.txt
