I try first time when it have the little light the pin metod didn't work but with tg downloader it works and write to 100% the restart but didn't restart it stays power off then i disconnect it and try to power on but turn only the green light and vibrate then goes off.On the second try to see my phone with tg downloader i must do the pin try without the memory card and then connect to the notebook it saw my phone and again write to 100% but didn't restart and the same after i disconect it only green light and vibrate.I do this about 3 times but the same i try first the official orange ro and then official orange uk but the same.

Sorry din't see you created a separate thread for it again!
I just replied you in patience's thread where you posted it..
Please make sure you charge your battery to 100% - give it few more hours as it's been told somewhere in forums that bricked tg01s take longer to charge their batteries :s and without fully charged batteries there are good chances you will totally brick your tg01. Your tg01 is not yet fully bricked. There are chances to fix it.. so go slowly.. have a read through 'unbrick' thread. BUT FIRST - charge your battery!!
But how to charge my battery?I have alsou a nokia 1209 i try with that battery and the same if i full charge that battery will it work?

I am not sure if nokia 1209 battery works with TG01 - never heard/tried it.
Also not sure if nokia's charger will charge the battery. You might have to charge it externally. There is some trick in the 'unbrick' thread to charge it externally. If you are not sure that your battery is fully charged, please don't try to unbrick it - as without battery, there are good chances of permanently bricking the device. I am at work @ the moment, but will try and look through some charging solutions for you. Google for some ideas to externally charging your battery for a while.
The interesting thing is that i succed to 100% 3 times to put the rom with tg downloader 2 times with tg01 battery and one time with nokia 1209 battery but the same.Only green light and vibrate. It works with 1209 battery but you must put a piece of insulating tape to stay there the battery my ideea was to full charge the 1209 battery and try then.Only difference between them is tg01 1000mah and 1209 has 500mah.

Hi,
I have an O2 XDA 1. This morning I noticed the battery was empty so I tried plugging it in to charge. The orange light does not come on and the battery does not charge no matter how long I leave it on. I have tried it both in the cradle and with an adaptor but still nothing happens. I even changed the internal battery but it is still the same.
Any ideas as to what i can do?
Dale.
i have the same problem. can anyone help me with this problem.

Hello Guys..
I've same problem with you guys..
The last day i charge my Wallaby was 2 days ago, and this morning i try to re-charge it with USB but cannot recharge, i try the cradle but it doesn't recharge too.
I think the battery was good because my O2 was powered on and running normal, just cannot re-charge.
I try to remember what i have done before... then.. i remember..
Before i try to recharge, my friend was try to connect his Universal USB Cable for his HP IPAQ (I forget the series) to my Wallaby and his PC detect and try to Synch my Wallaby but the charging indicator doesn't lite.
I Think, Maybe.. something wrong with the electricity, amphere, voltage, or whatever that comes out from his Universal USB Cable.
I have been hard reset and go to boot loader to see the Battery test, but doesn;t help..
Any body can help us??

That´s the problem. Ipaq has other Pin layout, so you have damaged something in your device. I´m giessing, that the fuse is blowen away...
Stefan
Oh my..
My Wallaby was physically broken because the shortcircuit, right?
I affraid the money i must to spend to repair will be the same like i buy it (second hand)..
Nothing i can do but go to repair shop, right?
You can try fixing it yourself. You can check if the fuse is not working any more and you can replace it, if you´re kind in soldering....
Stefan
Hello LumpiStefan,
It was a long time no see.
Still use the wallaby with ROM cooked by your ROM Cooker until now.
I just wan to give my credit to you LumpiStefan.
Cheers.

Wallaby charging problem
Hi guys,
I have a charging problem too. I have a wallaby. when i put it onto cradle led turns to amber and then immediately to green. Settings > Power section says the battery full of 100%. But when put off it from cradle, 1 minute later, it goes off. I changed the battery with a new one. still same problem. I also checked two fuses located on both side of the main board. They are OK. No fuses blowned.
So, don't know what to do. it actually works very well but charging problem. I don't want to throw it away. any other external charging device is OK for me.
I need your helps. Thanks.

Hello all. This is my first post.
I've used my Wallaby for many years. Yesterday it doesn't start anymore and if I put it into the cradle no light is displayed.
Last change I did was to replace my GSM SIM card with a UMTS one; since that moment it doesn't work anymore.
You were talking about fuses... Where are they located exactly ? What kind of fuse are they ? How can I check if they're blowned ?
Moreover.. I've a backup of my Wallaby... eventually is there any emulator where I can resume/restore all my contacts ?
Thanks,
Marco
Looking for replacement Wallaby
If anybody is interested, I have a few Wallabys for sale.
May be cheaper than trying to replace broken screens or paying for repairs.

Hi All,
My Prophet just died...
I made a RadioROM upgrade and after a reboot I did an IPL upgrade. I did a soft reset and now it doesn't want to turn on. I'm really confused what did I make wrong and how can I redo it.
I'm looking forward to a helpful info.
Thanks
Does your screen stay black or does it display anything? Can you enter bootloader? And why would you want to upgrade your IPL???
My screen is dark black, I can not even turn it on. I doesn't matter what sort of switch I press on the dev. So I can't see the bootloader and I think it's a serious problem...
After the IPL upgrade the reboot was succesful and on the startup screen it says IPL 2.20.0001 and worked for a while.
I've changed my local settings, which reqiures a soft reset, so I did it. After this, no aswer...
I'm very dissapointed because of the pda and your help dear all...
Is your battery dead? Try it with your charger.
No, my battery was fully charged before I ran into this major problem...
I had a similar issues which was misteriously resolved after a few plug ins and battery removals. I also let the battery completely drain and removed it from phone for a few hours. It worked when connected to wall charger but not with battery. It seemed like interior phone battery was dead. One day I connected it to the wall charger and the battery status when from zero to 98% and it stayed there. Really weird stuff. I ordered another battery and so far so good. One of the batteries did die and i discarded it, but I still use the other old battery plus I have a new spair.
Yamilrx, thanks the info...
I'll try it, but I've lost my faith in this device. It's in clinical dead state for 2 days from now, and it looks like doesn't want to wake up or alive.
This is a very misteroius issue.
I don't understand it, if I upgraded wrongly somebody tell me, why was the device started after? And if it was a wrong update, how can I turn it on and make calls, etc. and after a soft reset it DOESN'T reply for anything?!
I bought it almost 2 years ago, so I assume the battery could cause similar problem. But it was almost fully charged. The Star Wars was less incredible then this thing...
Except this, I'll accept your advice. I'm going to try it.
try the following, as your device is dead and curently noy useable.
-remove the battery for a day and just leave it there
- put in the battery and connect the charger
- hold your camera button while turning the device on
do you get into the 3 colored screen? if so, the device can now be downgraded etc.
particular reason why you have not tried a HARD reset?

Thanks, I'll try it first after go to a shop and buy a battery.
Anyway, when I mentioned I've tried all the combinations of the buttons, I meant i did a hard reset too. But my Spleeping Beauty is still doing the same...
The problem hasn't been solved by the solutions you have mentioned before, so I've called the HTC technical support, they were very friendly - they must be because I'll pay for it - and 2 days from now they will tell me how much does it costs or it is repairable or not...
Thanks for your help.

I did that with mine to see if it would reset device once the internal battery is totally discharged. Like I said earlier, mine came back to live. Make sure you install the WM 5 rom used for downgrading and don't try any of the WM 6 roms until the device is fully functional with wm5. The batteries are $8 on ebay but they take 1 week to get here from Hong Kong.
If winter comes, can sping be far away?
Hi All,
The service technician examined my Prophet and he said, I have to change a mainboard. Have you ever run into this kind of problem? If I want a repair, it'd cost me 300 Euro!!
Luckily I still have a warranty, so I hope I don't have to pay for the service.
Take care your Prophet...
No More ROM Building for a while
As i went to plug my mini USB plug into my device and it shut off my PC tried to put it on charge nothing happens
Turns out the mini USB connector on the base of my device has failed
Stripped down my prophet and it looks to be a pretty tricky job to solder (terminals are very small and close together
Also i am not working because of knee operations so i can't afford to buy a new phone
I will still come here and offer support for my ROM releases but i can't cook my new ideas for a while
Unless i get lucky with trying to fix this my self ,need to source the mini usb connector first and that looks hard to find if any one knows where to get these from please drop me a link

hi men...
my english is very bad, but i will try help to u.. if u have same problem like me
first diagnose of problem:
1. no charge-red-led on charger
2. attach to charger without bat, and pullout charger connector gently, your screen will make white flash in some moment.. try more times, but veeery gently
3. in some times when after some time device is off, when u connect to charger red led blink on sec ( i think that inside bat will charge then )
solution:
connect device without bat on charger, pres red power-on button and insert battery inside, after 4-5 try's it will power-on, if not, torture him with 2. diagnose step some times, and try again ..
my finger are crossed for you
ohh.. i dont read your post very well, its hardware failure..

Hello guys!
My TG01 is fully bricked. The lqst thing that I did with the TG01 was to delete 2 SMS and after 30 minutes when I wanted to make a call the phone was completely dead. It does not power on and even when I put the chrarger the orange does not light up. The last time that I flashed my TG01 was in August with ffboy clean 6.5. Ok of course i have played a lot with the linux kernel and i have tested different things. The last thing that i was doing with the linux was the bluetooth driver hence it was like a week that i did not do any hacking so i find it really hard that the phone is bricked by the linux kernel.
I will try the TG downloader with the USB drivers to see if it will come back to life. Either way yesterday I bought an HD2 and I put android inside it is amazing and really even windows mobile works well on HD2.
If the phone is fully bricked i will stop ToshDroid, sorry guys !!!
Cheers,
Endri
PS: I anybody has recovered his phone with the same problem as mine, please give a hint
Hello,
If you haven't got the orange led when is in charged, I think pearhaps the battery is dead ...
Can you test with another (or test the battery)?
For me it's not a software problem .. it's hardware ... So TG downloader can't do anything ...
I hope you can repair it !
I've encountered similar problem before.
When it was on charger after I hold power button, the charger led dissappeared for a moment and nothing happened.
Try charging it for a longer while, but first:
1)remove the battery
2)put it back inside
3)don't press ANYTHING
4)plug the charger again.
Apparently there is a bug which causes big energy drain when the phone is "bricked" so the charging procedure takes a while.
5)after few hours try turning it on again and report in this thread; I think we can figure something out
Also if you have a HD2 charger, try that with your TG01
This happened to me, I had been using my TG01 for nearly a year then I switch my phone off to charge overnight and plug into my TG01 and nothing happens. I turned off and on, removed battery, sim card etc but no good.
I borrowed a HD2 charger from a friend and that works fine and my TG01 charger works with a friends Nokia so I got myself a HD2 charger off EBay and I use this all the time.
So give it a go, one day out of the blue my TG01 refuses to charge and I know the charger works etc but I have to use HD2 charger.

I had exactly same problem!
Nothing worked from the forum, it stayed like a brick whatever I did. However, I did notice faint white light on the screen, but no red/orange light on top, no vibration nothing!
Sent it to Toshiba Workshop - seems they had to load some sort of 'boot loader file' :S Din't give me much details, but I guess if you can grab a 'boot loader' from somewhere, that's all it might need - Just a guess from experience!
hi endrix,
you doing here a really good job, thank you.

why stop, make a break and send your tg01 to repair
best regards, miro
Hi Endrix, what's happen with your phone ? Have you solve the problem ?
Hello everyone,
A friend of mine destroyed his X10a, says he dropped it, but looks like it was run over by a truck... At first sight it had the digitizer destroyed with flex cable completely cutoff, broken LCD and the battery sustained some damage.
Then he told me that if I could repair it, I could have it... Naturally I though, 'replace the broken parts, let's say ~$50 and new phone for me! but before running to eBay, I wanted to be sure that it only needed a new 'screen'
The first thing I did, press the power bottom (though that if it gave any signs of life I could just put my SIM card in and call from another phone, if it rang I would smile) and... a red led blinked 3 times, when lucky. As I have never 'played' with a X10, I had no clue what that meant so my quest for knowledge began... and after reading I found it meant low battery, so plugged it to a wall charger and the only thing I got was a blinking red light, same with plugging it to PC with USB cable, which I think it's suppose to mean bad battery. So left it overnight charging... and never got anything but a red light. (no orange light, no green light, not even a steady red one) and if I pressed and hold the power bottom, it would vibrate.
Well, time to open it and see if there's anything else I haven't seen... and after opening it, found that the keypad flex cable is almost cut off and it seems to have some damage in the lower right corner of the 'motherboard' (looking to
where the battery goes) near the antenna connector? (I'm assuming it's an antenna connector, the round thing with a hole, it's a little down from where the LCD connector is, will upload a photo, but at 5:42am I'm surprised I'm still writing...)
1. How can I test the 'motherboard' ensure that it's functional?
2. Does the X10 need the battery to turn on, or can it be turned on with just the wall charger (and no battery). Will it turn any light on?
3. Does any of the damaged parts (no digitizer, LCD or keypad) prevents it from turning it on? (guessing the keypad might). Hopefully someone really brave, thirsty for knowledge and dieing to help will open their X10 and try to turn it on after various combination of disconnected components, let's say without LCD, digitizer or keypad... just to analyze it's behavior and help me...
4. Any idea? or just not my lucky day?
P.S. When I plugged it in to the computer it was as if it wasn't there... PC Companion and SEUS did not recognize it (not even windows 'sees' it)
Thanks in advance!
...Yey! my first post in this forum!
Hi,
almost all of phones I had ever serviced needed plugged batterry.
You may even need the thermistor (middle pin), because phone controls resistance and temperature of original baterry. I am not sure about X10i,but power supply is nessesary I`will take my multimeter and check it out once in home
But before plugging any power source, be careful about static electricity and check if any of flex cables are not short-circuited!
A also may provide complete PCB schematics if it could help you (but they are very very difficult )
A 2-year-old model that looks as if it had been run over by a truck is not worth the hassle, imho.
First test a new battery in a shop
And i think that u say keyboard then it would be x10 mini pro

It depends of sense with you are using your phone - my old 3410 and K310i still looks like new. Unless batterry exploded...

No, he spoke about keypad. But doesn`t depend on model - baterry is dead I thought.
But better is if he use stabilised power station instead.
