[Q] No keyboard sound (clicks)

Isn't there supposed to have a click sound on the keyboard when you press a button?
I just flashed stock rom again, and on the setup I had the click sound, but as soon as I finished it was gone :-(

Did you check/uncheck the box in the settings ???
It could explain it... Or maybe is the sound off... There isn't any click sound when it's on discret mode.

New ui sounds

I got tired of the ui sounds in CM7 beta so I converted my custom iphone sounds and put them on the Atrix. New unlock, lock, dock, undock, effect, camera, video, and low battery sounds. I left the keyboard sounds alone because i like them. Unzip the attached file and replace the ui folder with the new one. The location is system/media/audio/ui. Set ui folder permissions to rwxr-xr-x. all ogg permissions need to be rw-r--r--. Make sure to back up the original ui sound folder. Enjoy!
Great job man, u roooock!!

Sweet! By the way, I tried using the leaked ics keyboard delete sound on my ATRIX and now it only makes the sound sometimes, but the leaked lock/unlock sound worked perfectly, do you know what's going on? Thanks in advance

Thinking about going back to Sam stock

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get rid of them annoying water noises and get clicks and also is it possible to get a stock looking drop bar? I know I can get the keyboard
Thanks

seems to me that you have applied some custom framework. Which ROM and framework do you have?
Generally, for disabling water noise sound and click sound go to Settings>Sound, scroll to the end, and un-toggle 'Keytones','Touch sounds' and 'Screen Lock sound'
I like the clicks and that I just don't like how Samsung love to mess about with things that are fine how they are they seem to make things worse when "if it ain't broke don't touch it" I am on super nexus but it has minor bugs here and there and I'd like the stock apps eg all share and have better battery and ui

my advice is that you should switch to ROM that is more stable and has TW framework(because without you wont be able to have samsung apps such as all share because they are implemented in Samsung's TouchWiz framework), and you can install some launcher such as apex, holo, etc, and preserve that android-stock look if you are aiming for it
I'm mainly after stock aosp sounds I can sort KB and launchers
