Is there a way to get flash on Z's 2.2.1 rom? had a look round but cant see anything about it. Cheers

are you referring to adobe flash? If so, you can find it in the android market if you have Z's froyo rom
Yeah, just search for it on the android market and install. That easy.
Installed Data2sd and its there now. Thanks

I currently have 2.2 Froyo installed on my Vibrant, and I want to get back to 2.1before I install Axura204. I tried installing Axura with OCLF and Rom Manager...but no luck, so I figure I might have better luck installing it if I went back to 2.1. Is it even possible to switch to Axura since I am currently using 2.2?
I've only been using an Android for about a week, so please dummy it down for me. If I have to flash something or use Odin, can you please give me step by step instructions?
Quick unrelated questions:
How do you disable One-Click Lag Fix (I tried using the disable-lagfix file, but I think it is still active)?
What is the difference between a kernel and a rom?
Click the icon in your drawer for OCLF and uninstall for there. Pm me for help with your flashing.
I would say just flash with odin and go from there. Do u known how to use it?

How EXACTLY do you flash back to 2.1? What files do I need to do it, and does it work with my existing firmware?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
To flash to a 2.1 rom, make sure the rom has a 2.1 kernal comes pre flashed. For example, any bionix 2.1 roms can be used.

Hey guys, running 2.1 and Ryan's OCLF.. Patiently waiting for Froyo.. Question is, I know I should remove the OCLF and unroot the device..
- Once its removed from the phone, can I just do the OTA update or thru kies and hop on to froyo? Or should I do a reset of the phone?
-Once I do have froyo, is it necessary to have the OCLF mod back on? Is it even possible to OCLF a froyo?
Thanks for any help
You can uninstall and reinstall rooting and OCLF all you want. Just make sure you don't have OCLF installed when doing the OTA Froyo update. But why wait? Just flash to a leaked Froyo like I did. And you can reinstall the OCLF with Froyo once you do. Anymore question pm me! Enjoy!

Yeah flash Axura I was scared of doing it week ago but I did it yesterday and I will never look back.
The official froyo probably wont be as good as the custom ones anyways haha

Ever since the 2.1 update my stock android browser is painfully slow. It hangs when loading pages, and is overall slow. I like the stock browser and wish to continue using it. I have tried to clear the cache often and reset all settings in the browser and nothing helps.

U mite want to consider doing flash tool from xda website under x10 developement section only cuz u can pick different build numbers if ones dont work for u. I havent heard this issuse before since i started at least looking at these forums since at least december. This rom and firmware stuff work for different people so try it out if u want to go that route. Let me know and i can help u get a link for flashtool of u cant find it.

I tried unchecking it and the browser seems much more responsive.

Maybe I'm an idiot and missed it somewhere or maybe it doesn't exist, but I'm looking for the stock Vibrant Odin files for 2.2. I have to ones for 2.1, but I hate having to use Kies to bring it back to 2.2. Any help would be appreciated.
What I use is Eugene's 2.2 Froyo ODIN which can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833024&page=49
It will also automatically root.
The link is gone from that thread. Anywhere else I can find it at?

Try Whitehawkx's stock froyo rom (deodexed and Odin versions):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1036193
Hopefully, the links still work.
Just out of curiosity, why are you trying to go to stock 2.2?

Sent from my SGH-T959
Although I'm not sure downgrading is the solution to your phone's laggieness, you can find a guide that teaches you step-by-step how to downgrade right here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=849028.

+1, if your phone is to slow, you probably want to upgrade, but to each their own.

There is no update available in froyo..

Flash this and you will have a stable, fast Froyo ROM that will blow away any preconceived notions about Eclair. There is even an Odin image that you can use.

I was referring to upgrading to a custom ROM, the one wood suggested would be a perfect example.
