Can Cyanogen Mod 6 be ported to P500,is it easier than CM7?Or has it already been done.If it has,can you please give me the link to download it,cuz i tried the alpha version of CM7 and i really liked it,so I would love to use CM6) Thanks in advance!
its under construction... LOT LOT LOT bugs. You can use it, but you can barely use its functions. search under Android Develpment for P500. You will find it, but don't expect much

Hi,
Before i start asking for stuff i would like to thank all the great "cooks" out there. Without them my htc mega phone would just suck
Now for the good part.
I would like to request a WM 6.5.5 lite ROM with the newest build and the known fixes aplied (scroll on dialer, arktask, battery fix, and any other fix that you know that i did not mention).
you can remove all that heavy stuff, cause anyone who wants can just install anyway. And becouse the porpose is to have a base, lite rom that anyone can add whatever they want. Thank you.

Hello all,
So I remember not too long ago a lot of people were asking for touchwiz 4.
Now it's out and I haven't really seen any steps in porting it to other devices (like ours).
BUT, some people over at the Galaxy S I9000 already ported it to their devices.
So, since we can also run android 2.3.4 now, I was wondering if there was a porter around here interested in porting this.
Here's a Link To the original post at the Galaxy S forum.
I don't have much experience porting other apps (unless I can get the whole source I.E. All the Java files and XML files in original format), otherwise I would have tried it.
Dympy
I think Gaby02 try port this.
Hello
I did not try this one yet, but maybe it works:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061883
I linked to that post in the OP.
Already tried and didn't work :/
Dympy.
Whoops, sorry did not saw that
Try running it through Chainfire? Or am I talking **** now?
Well graphics aren't the problem.
First of all, it just won't install (Maybe because I'm on Froyo (The manifest file requires a minimum SDK version of 8, so if I'm right Froyo is capable of using it)).
If that problem can be overcome, I think the rest of the porting Would be quite easy.
Dympy.
Try pushing it to /system/app and reboot? Maybe it works then?
the current port of Touchwiz 4 on froyo is for arm v7 devices only....... so i suggest wait till marcellusbe port's cm7 and releases gingerbread AOSP.... cause then only the pngs will have to be converted... i guess......
Installed on cm7 but when I select tw it just gives a black screen with the notification bar :/
Touchwiz 4 is for ARMv7 so for the moment I think it's impossible to use it :S
i have tried all on froyo and on cm7 but no one would start i cant install it and only blackscreen
Probably, this would take an another marcellusbe to port the lib files

Just google for "dexter folio". First hit is dexters homepage. You will find a link to his current support forum there... He is not inactive, just moved somewhere else.
@Jon2555: I am not working on a 3.2 port. I don't know much about porting (this is basically the reason why i have not answered your pm yet, sorry). I prefer android versions that can be compiled from source.
I know that you don't work on 3.2 version but you have some skills and android 4.0 will open source and you'll can compile it. We're hoping

What about this update?
Something better?
I used Folio3x before, but too slow for everyday use.
Poor graphic performances.
Functioning quite well. Especially those who suffered from the button crazy.
Neutralize the buttons on the right side and only use the buttons HC.
Moved to proper forum.
Well, I'm working hard on a entirely pure custom GB rom and I don't know If the best it is use the stock firmware or cyanogenmod, anyway, I really like the freedom of cyanogenmod gives to his users, and I like to try, but I can't see on list devices of CM wiki my device, an Xperia U ST25i, after all I saw this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u/general/guide-how-to-build-cm9-cm10-cm10-1-t2315488, I almost cry, because I always wanted to use cyanogenmod on my Xperia...
BUT one day I write this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41714663#post41714663. I wanna know that there is some risk of bricks if I build a cyanogenmod... I'm really scared... Could someone take this doubt for me? Maybe someday I will help you guys too.
And I really like to try some lowend versions of Android (< 2.0) is that possible to do on my device?
Thank you, and sorry about my english. See ya :fingers-crossed:

1- You'll probably be my hero if you bring CM7 to the U
2- That brick looks like the partitions were set incorrectly in the configuration and something ended up over a bootloader partition... a full JTAG backup would probably have fixed it
3- Probably, but it's not worth it IMHO -- Android had less features and stricter expectations about hardware back then, while performance wise stock 2.3.7 with AOSP keyboard and some services disabled already easily gets over 120MB RAM free...

Understood, there is some FULL stable CM for XU?
It could work with my Galaxy Mini? http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/...ad-mode-fix-galaxy-s-s2-s3-s4-note-note-2-_JM
I have a Nexus 6 running Android N developer build NPD90G. I really want to go over to Cyanogenmod because of the 13.1 Mod Ready update, which integrates Cortana, Skype, etc. However, all the builds are 13.0, not 13.1. This made me think that I cannot install the mods, but on the CM website it says that mods are supported on phones running CM13 and up. Does this mean that I can install the mods on my phone if I go over to CM? And if so, will my phone even support them? I've tried to find an answer to this but I couldn't find one anywhere.
UPDATE: I realized that the mods are only in Cyanogen OS, not CM. But is there a way to still get that deep integration of mods in CM itself? Sry I'm a noob...
