GPS not fixed ( continuous crash )
APP2SD fixed with sdcard formatting
Proximity Sensor not fixed
MMS ( APN correctly configured but NOT SEND )
Solution ?

I just installed v14 & i can guarantee that GPS is working fine. need to check about the rest.
Wasn't sure whether I should start a new topic, so I thought I'll ask here. I'm using the Gingerbread rom V0015 by J and used XRecovery to flash the optional IMEs. However, the Japanese IME does not work in landscape mode. There is only a while bar where the keyboard is suppose to be.
Was wondering is anyone has the same problem.

Beta 4 is good, but MIUI is perfect
but i have .54 but MIUI doesnt work on it

flashtool is for firmware/baseband flashing
xrecovery is for changing/updating ROMs
currently the only perfect roms are Eclair (2.1)
all Froyo (2.2) roms dont have video recording facility (if any then at very low fps 15fps with low res)
all GingerBread (2.3) roms dont have camera/video recording...

Hey guys here are a few a fixes or tweaks which i have noticed to be demanded:
This is a small number of tweaks should increase stabilty and patch some missing files at boot also updating to new x8oc.ko thanks to the module man and the tun.ko for mini pro for vpn!

This is the 802.1x wlan hotfix for everybody having problems with enterprise wpa,eap,ttls,etc... You will lose draft n but its still blazing fast

yes, installed via exrecovery..

in your hw_config include this lines ...
"# overclock speed
insmod /system/lib/modules/x8oc.ko"
if you incluyed this lines cpu set 691 to default... and oc with setcpu to 825mhz...
Dont include that line in v8 its included in owain delta.rc script!
Setcpu wont work, i did this before and now dont use that line since than overclocking is working with set cpu

@ owain i used tun.ko with openvpn and just insmodded it when openvpn was activated, there is an openvpninstaller and openvpnsettings.apk to download as well as the free openvpn configs. If anybody wants it i can share :-D
also feel free to include everything in your new cm7 rom/hotfix

another small update.
please install with xrec and go advanced/fixpermissions!!! you have to let xrec fix permissions install hotfix01 from owain or mine in above posts aswell
Changelog:
added some libraries and some minor bin files nothing fancy, just to complete the libs a bit more. seems to be more stable now on games. haven't had a crash anymore.
please install hotfix either from owain or mine in the above thread.
I haven't had any random reboots since then. hope it helps you guys as well.
Hey slade i must say I´m really happy about it that we "Germany" have a great dev like owain!! Another question is does the fix for wlan 802.1x working on the v3.6?? Because I don´t get it working (eduroam) on my Uni?? I try it without and with Telekom Root Ca and my settings peap and MSCHAPV2? My VPN works with owains rom but when I disconnect or close the app vpn connections my phone reboot with the v3.6?? Can you please give me an advice what I can do to solve this problem!! And I must say you both are the best!!
i am really not sure about 3.6 but you could however make a xrec backup and install wlanupdate.zip this should be fine.
but some sony/global certs and libs are also in hotfix01 and hotfix02 but I am unsure about these.
best thing for you would be to try the wlanupdate.zip
and maybe hotfix01/02
please report back if it works.
if it doesnt just advanced restore your system partion with xrec.
Hey slade I had tasted your Wlan-fix on CM v3.6!! I flashed it over the xrec everything works fine!! But eduroam will not work!! So I think i tasted the CM 7 hotfix + your hotfix 2 And wait for the new version!! AND in the future our DREAMTEAM (OWAIN and SLADE) will bring the best ROM to our x10 mini pro

I've been following the kernel development from a distance, but getting more and more interested as the progress goes, for those testing it: Can I use it with any rom without compromise? For instance, camera will still work on wolfbreak's CM6?
The instructions on FreexperiaRecovery thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1046609 are slightly confusing (too much info perhaps) but to do a fresh start of froyo with custom kernel i should:
1-flash a stock 2.1 with baseband 52 (or flash bb 52 separately) with flashtools
2-flash freexperiaRecovery and kernel with flashtools
3-flash baseband fix for 2.2 with freexperiaRecovery
4-flash 2.2 rom with freexperiaRecovery
5-reboot
Is that correct?
u need to flash the 2.2 rom first before the baseband patch, everything else seems about right

At this point the custom kernel is not stable (i.e. battery drain). I'd give it a month or two before a fully working kernel is released.
yeah, i've read there's a battery drain issue with the kernel, i've waited until now, waiting a little more wouldn't hurt.

he means you can use the custom kernel with wolfbreak's rom, check this out

hi i am using FreeX10 beta4 hotfix1 runnin on bb52.. successfully but i cant seem to get the custom kernel to work... there are just too much info in the development section i hav been tryin to get this custom kernel to boot... but my fone keeps boot loopin

Finally decided to try a custom kernel, the zkernel for higher basebands since bb67 worked so well for me and I'm glad I've waited, not only this kernel is very stable but super easy to install.
No need to change my baseband or anything, simply flashed it with xrecovery 0.3 over my wolf's froyo rom, followed by Doomlord's fixes and after the reeboot, it was working, after two days use i've detected no issues.

note 1: I've flashed z's original file and both doomlord's boot.img and wifi fix zip files, but in his thread Doomlord already provides the kernel with different boot.img for each rom.
note 2: there are two versions, but you only need the z23062011 version if the previous one gives you random shutdowns.
Screen just don't rotate after upgrade to 2.3 with X10i_3.0.1.G.0.75_CUST-CH GENERIC 1237-0688.zip (140,2 MB), then X10i_3.0.1.G.0.75_CUSTOMIZEDARO-ARO GENERIC 1241-1846.zip (140,2 MB) and lastly X10i_3.0.1.G.0.75_CUST-SG GENERIC 1237-0334.zip (142,5 MB). Not sure of other sensors yet but else works just well.

I have been using X10i_2.1.A.0.435_GLOBAL-GGL GENERIC 1232-9897 for months with no issue. May be I should wait for GLOBAL-GGL GENERIC 1232-9897.
Light sensor also failed to work....check with Android Market application, both accelerometer and light sensors didn't work.

is ur screen rotating in gallery and other apps except ur home screen..if yes then ur accelerometer sensor is workin ...
and have u ever noticed ur auto brightness working ??? if it aint then ur light sensor isnt working but if u have seen.... then even thats ok !!!!

No. It doesn't work in all applications. Its only works when I revert to Eclair 2.1.
why dont utry wolf's 2.3.3 rom thats actually the best 2.3 Rom out there instead of goin for the generic and u wont be having any problems at all too...
even m using it and not a single problem ..and even if its there ...then there's a solution for all!!!

i have contacted SE Hungary, and they do not know about this.
I think, our phone contains an other kind of sensor ... this latest kernel maybe doesn"t support it !
and the shame : in 2.1 stock rom work like a charm.... I will sell my x10....

and in gallery on sms writing, or in the browser IT IS NOT rotating automatically........I flashed the 2.1 NOW back - and working all....
wolf's ROM using the SAME KERNEL, and Baseband version AS stock one..... i have tried, and that ROM is not working also.

Tried WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread, TripNRaVeR, at least 3 Stock ROM from SE, and none works. Happy to hear that I am not the only one. At least confirm that is the firmware related and not hardware.
what is your DEFAULT SI number? (under battery) ?
mine is : 1232-4384
i think this device have a different sensor, than others, and this kernel not supporting this....
i am on the way of selling X10... this is ridiculous

I have just installed MiniCM6 on my X10 Mini and I have everything working great. I have updated Google Maps to the latest version (5.11) from the market, and since I have a problem with Google Navigation : navigation does not re-route and map underneath route stays blurry. I have reverted back to version 5.3.1 and it works again, but I don't have the latest functionalities (map cache for offline navigation for instance). I have also searched and realized other devices also have this issue with android 2.2.1 :

OK i think that´s history , im on miniCM7 by nAa look here and its by far the best rom i´ve installed on my mini ever its pretty fast and stable.Try it on ur own i promise u will dont regret it.
Look at this Thread read carefully installation guide when questions the FAQ by matmutant and be happy ... nothing to say.

Are you sure it's stable ? Does the camera work fine ? Are there any issues remaining concerning wifi, data, or gps ? Are there any recent reports on system crash or reboots ? Maybe I will install it this evening...

Yep, cam works at 5mp only the video recording is a little bit sluggish but i think nAa fix this problem in the next few updates.wifi , data and gps works fine.since i´ve installed this rom i never had any random reboot or system crash.
