When I got my Streak last year, I upgraded it to 2.2 including the performance fix and everything worked fine.
Been using it every day without a single problem, and today all of a sudden it went off, and can't go past the logos. It shows the white, then the color one, then back to the white, and stay there...
I searched the site and found other threads about non-booting Streaks, but they are about problems arising at the moment of upgrading or testing something new. I haven't tried anything new or risky on this phone for months.
I can get to the fastboot and recovery screens (but don't know what to do once I get there)
Any help in fixing this will be much appreciated. I hope there is still a chance to recover my setup/progs/data.
Thanks
Dani

Thanks for the suggestion.
I did it and got this result:
External SD:
GPIO test: PASS
Card size = 15193MBytes
CMD/Data test: PASS
Internal SD:
Card Size = 1936MBytes
CMD/Data test: PASS
[SIM] Test ---> PASS
So it says PASS, but it doesn't say "permanent write-nonprotect" as the page you pointed said it should.
(confused...)
Hi toronto65,
It too happened to me yesterday. The Internal Sdcard suddenly became corrupted.
Here's how to fix it;
1. Download the froyo update.pkg frm Dell website, and place it in your external sdcard.
2. Press both the vol 'up' and 'down' buttons, while you press the 'power on' button, this will bring you to a factory reset screen.
3. From this screen, you select option #2 ; installation pkg using external sdcard.
It will take sometime for the update.pkg to be flash into your internal sdcard.
Remember to rename the downloaded package file into update.pkg
Good Luck!!!

Thanks for the info. I'll try this as soon as I get back home.
Just to know what I'm getting into: will this erase all my installed apps, settings and user files?
Thanks again
Dani
I've got a very similar problem, dropped the phone a few days ago, it rebooted itself but also did a factory reset.
Over the course of the next couple of days it lost various settings, notably email and some installed software gave exceptions. I discovered that removing the directory on the sd card where the program was stored cured the exception, for example installing Navigon without removing the Navigon directory on the sd card caused an exception, but with the directory removed (or renamed) the problem went away.
Finally the phone gave up altogether, stuck at the first part of the boot process (white logo) it appears to try and reboot every 40 seconds or so.
Tried different SD card and to install official update.pkg (which it had anyway) just resulted in the backlight glowing and sod all else happening, even 9 hours later.
Now being sent back for repair, 5 to 10 working days, or a month I suspect in real terms.

I tried to do that, but ran into a snag:
When I click on option #2 it pulls up ClockworkMod Recovery, which has options to update from zip files, but it never sees the Update.pkg file.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

ClockworkMod Recovery does not read .pkg files. It only installs .zip files.
For installing .pkg file you first need to flash stock recovery image using fastboot mode.
You can find the stock recovery image here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8LDVERY4
I still can't make it work:
I installed fastboot, flashed the stock recovery and put update.pkg on the root of the SD card.
Booted to stock recovery but it doesn't "see" the update.pkg. When I choose upgrade through SD it says:
"Android system recovery
To perform recovery you will need to insert a microSD card....
...
Press the Volume Down to power off"
Tried with 2 SD cards and several versions of the upgrade.pkg, same result.
When I had CloclworkMod it was able to read the SD card without problems, so the card reader hardware seems to be ok.
(And I always "safely-remove" the card after writing the update file, tried the file name both in upper and lowercase, it IS in the root of the card, etc...)
As mentioned before, the SD test on the Engineering mode says PASS on both cards, but doesn't say "permanent write-nonprotect". Not sure what that means.
Any suggestion to un-brick my phone will be much appreciated.

Good idea:
I installed it, ran it, and it all seemed to go well, except that it ends too soon. I believe the process is incomplete. It says SUCCESS right after asking for reboot.
The phone still can't go past the boot logos.
Will keep trying any suggestions to unbrick it...
Thanks

Good news!!
I was using the old/incomplete version of the QDL Tool. I ran the full version and got my phone back!
Now my 2 worries are:
- remember what I had, reinstall everything, salvage data from SD card
- wondering WHY this happened (I wasn't installing anything, and there was no physical damage) and if may happen again anytime
Thanks all for your help

Hi Dani @ toronto65,
Great to hear ur streak is up and working, can u link the complete QDtool for our future use, just in case. Also appreciate if you could give a list of detailed description on your "quick" fix.

Hi Dani,
When u tried fixing ur streak using the option #2 (frm external sdcard), did u use a different sdcard or d existing sdcard? Not sure whether this play any signicant part. I use another that I reformatted and then installed d update.pkg file, and proceed with option #2. Once its able to bootup normally, I then transfer all the datas in d new sdcard to my original card, overwriting certain folders (especially d android folder.etc)
So far up to date, everything is running fine

I tried both ways (existing and new card) and it didn't recognize any. Maybe I had to reformat the new one in a special way (I tried with a card from my camera, just deleting the pictures and folders).
So far I reinstalled all apps I remember I had, but kept the old folders in the external card. I expect some apps may complain about it. When that happens I'll uninstall, delete old folder and reinstall.
Glad to hear your streak is working fine.

As I learned, there is a version of the QDL tool that only updates SOME files, and another that does a full update. They both may be needed for different reasons.
Both can be found on http://streakdroid.com/?page_id=15&category=2.
The only effective "fix" that I did was running this tool and waiting for it to restart. The tool will say "SUCCESS" but you still have to wait a few minutes staring at the logo while the phone swallows the updates and reboots.
Installing the QDL tool is a *pain*. There is a video tutorial here: http://http://streakdroid.com/?page_id=92 that must be followed to the letter. If you are on Wista64 you also have to install some certificates. Some posts even suggest finding and old W2k or XP machine to run it.
Cheers
Dani
thks Dani for your prompt replies.

01. Download QMAT 5.06 here http://revskills.de/downloads/qmat_506.zip
It’s a demo version so will only run for 10 minutes.
02. Format your SD card to FAT32. Please keep in mind some brands of SD cards do not work. Note sd card must be in phone here
03. Use adb to run this command: adb shell cat /sys/class/mmc_host/mmc1/mmc1:*/cid
04. Copy the SD card cid code displayed after the adb command.
05. Start Qmat and Click on Cyptoanalysis Tools > Crypto Toolbox.
06. Look at the bottom, there is a text box (beside the “Reverse String” button) enter the SD card cid code you got earlier.
Click on the “Reverse String” button, the result is reversed…
Example: 532600bd227d9c0347329407514d5402
07. Copy the reversed SD card cid code.
08. Go to QMAT goldcard site here http://revskills.de/pages/goldcard.html to generate your goldcard (yes it says for G1 but works for our Hero too).
09. Enter your email. For the correct SD card cid code, you need to replace the first 2 characters to 00.
Example: From “532600bd227d9c0347329407514d5402” to “002600bd227d9c0347329407514d5402”
10. Click Continue and you will receive the goldcard.img in .zip format in your email.
11. Go to your email, download the zip file and save it to a directory and unzip it to goldcard.img
12. Download HxD Hex Editor from here http://download.cnet.com/HxD-Hex-Editor/30....html?tag=mncol
13. Install and launch HxD Hex Editor program. Note SD Card has to be in your pc or reader here at this point NOTE ALSO (run the editor as administrator in order for it to appear)
14. Go to Extra tab > Open Disk. Under Physical disk, select Removable Disk (Must be your SD card), uncheck “Open as Readonly), click OK.
15. Go to Extra again, Open Disk Image, open up goldcard.img which you’ve saved/unzipped earlier.
Now, you should have two tabs, one is your removable disk, the other is goldcard.img. Press OK when prompted for “Sector Size” 512 (Hard disks/Floppy disks), click OK.
16. Click on goldcard.img tab. Go to Edit tab > Select All, edit tab again > copy.
17. Click on the “removable disk” tab. Select offset 00000000 till offset 00000170 (including the 00000170 line), click on Edit tab and then Paste Write.
18. Click on File > Save. now you can exit the program.
19. Reboot your phone with this SD Card (now GoldCard) inside
20. Use the Official HTC RUU to downgrade to 2.73.405.5 here ftp://xda:[email protected]/Hero...ed_NoDriver.exe
from which you can fastboot boot and/or root your phone with flashrec Here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=559613 (Please see guide below for this)
Done.
(STEP 2 recovery)
You need to install this recovery first with flashrec instructions below
You can use flashrec to flash the patched recovery, from where you can do all the usual stuff (and even put the old hboot back on if you want!)
Notice:
flashrec is using an exploit that isn't patched yet in the current kernel used by HTC, however if/when HTC patches this, flashrec will stop working.
So for now it's ok but a next version might have patched this, so keep this in mind !
Quick Howto:
1. On your phone, goto Settings, Applications, and make sure Unknown source is checked ON.
2. On your phone, goto Settings, SD card and phone storage, and click Unmount SD card.
3. Then click Format SD card (it should automatically remount after this).
4. Plug the phone into the compuer via USB, then pull down the notification bar and click on the SD card notification. Then click mount.
5. Download this APK and recovery image and save it to your computer:
flashrec-20090815.apk
Cyanogen’s / Modaco Hero Recovery Image
Update: updated flashrec here
6. Extract the cm-hero-recovery.img out of the MoDaCoPatchedRecovery-1.0.zip and put it somewhere on your computer.
7. Save both the cm-hero-recovery.img and the flashrec-20090815.apk to your computer, then copy them both to your SD card
(do NOT put them inside any folders on the SD card, just put them in the root of the SD card itself).
8. Unplug the phone from the computer once they are downloaded to the SD card.
9. Goto the Market and download Linda File Manager or any file manager program if you do not already have one.
10. Open the file manager and goto SDCard and then find the flashrec-20090815.apk file and click on it.
If asked, tell it to use Package Installer to open it. It should automatically install the apk.
11. Open the FlashRec program and click on Backup Recovery Image and wait for it to finish.
12. Once done, click on the empty text box in the FlashRec program and type:
sdcard/cm-hero-recovery.img
Then click on the Flash Custom Recovery Image button and wait for it to finish.
13. Turn off the phone and turn it on into Recovery mode by holding down Home and Power to turn it on
(keep holding until the recovery screen comes up has a bunch of text on a black background).
As long as that screen comes up, you have done it correctly and can now go and load other ROM/hboot/whatever.
THIS IS OPTIONAL RECOVERY BELOW BETTER OPTIONS BUT YOU NEED THE ABOVE RECOVERY FIRST
I then flashed the new recovery-RA-HERO-v1.2.3 Great Video guide here http://theunlockr.com/2009/10/15/how-to-flash-a-new-recovery-image-if-you-are-already-rooted/

There are several ways to install a custom recovery, choose the one that suits you most
via adb -> Requires a custom recovery (with test-keys) like Cyanogen's v1.4 or my previous recovery
Code:
Copy recovery-RA-HERO-v1.2.3.img to the root of your sdcard
Boot into your current custom recovery (boot while holding HOME)
Connect your Hero via usb to your pc/mac/...
adb shell
$su (not required if you have root already)
#mount -a
#flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-HERO-v1.2.3.img
(STEP 3 INSTALL CUSTOM ROM)
Then i installed the cool modaco custom rom v2.8 to my phone http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-hero...com/292018/xda/
Great Video guide here http://theunlockr.com/2009/08/27/how-to-load-a-custom-rom-on-your-htc-hero/
Also dont forget to upgrade your radio here http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-hero...ate-zip-format/
Download the latest one normally on the top to install rename the zip to Update put on root of SD card and boot into recovery and install update.zip option easy as that.
STEP 4 PARTITION SD CARD)
Then finaly i partioned my sd card using the recovery imiage with thease commands directly from the phone in recovery.
I ran the following commands in this order from recvoery mode:
- Wipe data + cache (factory reset)
- Wipe ext partition on SD-card
- Wipe Dalvik-cache on SD-card (NOT on /data !) [email protected] ALWAYS WORK
- Partition SD-card : 500MB Ext2, 32MB Swap, remaining Fat32
- Convert ext2 to ext3
- Installed ROM

hi, was following your procedure in order to crezte the Gold Card. Everything goes perfect up to step 20. After I used to flash with RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_2.73.405.6_WWE_release_signed_NoDriver.exe; big mistake. after flashing I can't put phone in recovery mode, it showing a triangle with a exclamation mark in the center, also GPS is not existing at all, 3 G network not present. My phone has been bought from Hong Kong.
I was trying to follow the steps to recovery but useless; flashrec-20090815.apk is not working, even the new versions. If someone can help me with some advices, i'm really desperate. thanks
help please!!!!
Hi all. after I create the gold card, see link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...187#post5036187, I RUU my Htc Hero from Hong Kong with SEA: (South East Asia)
RUU_Hero_HTC_Asia_SEA_WWE_2.73.728.5_release_signe d_NoDriver.exe and I'd seen there is no GPS, Market and 3G, than I'd applied another RUU RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_2.73.405.66_WWE_test_signed_NoDri ver.exe and this time I have Market, but still no GPS and 3G. I tried different RUU from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=559622, but no one working, not even the previous two. I tried to use flashrec-20090815.apk in order to flash, but no working. even the new version of flashrec not working. I tried to put in recovery mode holding POWER + HOME button, but after boot is showing a triangle with exclamation mark in the middle. Same is happening if I try to go in recovery mode from ADB (command adb shell reboot recovery). Is somebody so kind to explain me what to do in order to restore my phone at least how it was before, please? My skills in android development are 0. thanks
help please!!!!
so, nobody wants to help me ? i'm really desperate ...........
finally, I made again the gold card, after I re flash with RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_2.73.405.5_WWE_release_signed_NoDriver.exe, and works. Than I used flashrec-1.1.3-20091107-2.apk and recovery-RA-hero-v1.5.2.img and I created Backup.img. Tried to put in recovery mode by pressing in the same time Power and Home and I got the following screen:
"reboot system now [Home+Back]
apply sdcard:update.zip [Alt+S]
wipe data/factory reset [Alt+W]"
"E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command"
BTW, GPS and 3G still missing from menu. Trying to update with 2.8-update-hero-modacocustomrom-core-chinese-signed.zip or with 3.0-update-hero-modacocustomrom-core-signed.zip, I got this :
" -- Install from sdcard...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:No signature (663 files)
E:Verification failed
Installation aborted."
Phone hanging, freezing.... HELPPPPPP please!!!!!!!!

Hi, I have the exact same hero as you do (same system etc..). Didn't work with the "RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_1.76.405.1_R3_WWE_release_signed_NoDriver.exe"
so am now about to try it with this one:
RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_2.73.405.5_WWE_release_signed_NoDriver.exe
but after reading you post I am a lil weary...
is you hero still not working 100%??
Thx
1. Bricked my rooted G2 with 2.1 rom by interrupting the radio update process
2. Got it back within 5 days repaired in warranty FOC! mainboard replaced.
3. Flashrec backup recovery did not work, so had to go into goldcard method. (2.73.110.26 CL#69351)
4. Update succesfull. I thank you very much for your efforts Even the ugly static G2 T-Mobile screen now says HERO
5. Linda File Manager + FlashREC
6. Backup recovery -> Backup complete
THANKS
I got a Customer Id Error when I try to install either
RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_1.76.405.1_R3_WWE_release_signed _NoDriver.exe
or
RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_2.73.405.5_WWE_release_signed_NoD river.exe
I thought the purpose of the GoldCard was to help bypass the ID checking?

It is - the point is that the creation of a goldcard is not an exact science. If your goldcard is not correct, for any reason, it won't work.
There have been many accounts on these forums of people having to try 3 or 4 times (usually using different SD cards) before getting a goldcard that works.
Regards,
Dave

I got it working on the second attempt. In the tutorial I was reading it advice I use a separate sd card reader when creating the gold card.
On my second attempt I just left the card in the phone the whole time and mounted it through the phone when I needed to perform hex editing on it.
Lovely job, now to choose what custom ROM I shall flash.
Hi.
Dexter tell us: "Rename downloaded patch to update.zip and install using recovery.", but i know how to make a update, however how do i make an installation using recovery?
I only would like to know all the steps to install FolioMod v1.4 correctly.
Please tell me the steps like i was fool
Thanks a lot.
Help please
It's quite clear in the TXT attached in the mod, but if you prefer there are two alternative procedures in the #1 post of the thread. The update is not particulary difficult to execute, if you need more info please post a printscreen or better explain what's failling.
Rename downloaded patch to update.zip and install using recovery.

That's not true when you downloaded Foliomod 1.4
In the Foliomodv14.zip is a file called update.zip, the file update.zip should be copied to a SDCard and the follow the given instructions.
Today I wanted to install Modfolio 1.4 and after preparing my SDcard I had those weird messages Can't mount SD-card can't find update.zip while attempting to upgrade from a Modfolio 1.3d ...
I read alot and here is how I solved the issue... If fact I applied all the recommanded methods ...
First I prepared a new SD-card I took my SD-CARD under linux mint I used disk remove the partition and made a 1GB new partition utility.
Formated it in FAT32 and put on it the update.zip file on it.
I started my folio tablet and activated in settings > applications> usb debugging ( not sure this has anyeffect)
- I installed Android SDK + Google usb driver
- I updatate the android_winusb.inf
- I copyed to $android_sdk/tools the recovery.img from dexter's update-recovery.zip
- I rebooted my folio and put it in fastboot mode (3 time pow then vol+). I plugged my folio 100
with usb to my desktion computer.
- In windows, CMD.EXE I navigated to $android_sdk/tools and I used
fastboot erase recovery
fastbot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot console output was:
sending 'recovery' (4964 KB)... OKAY [ 0.325s]
writing 'recovery'... OKAY [ 0.733s]
finished. total time: 1.058s
- I rebooted my folio100 entered the recovery mode (pow +, pow -, pow +) and the install of the Modfolio 1.4 started smoothly. 5 minutes later it was all done...
Which method was the one really effective ? I don't know but it was fun to try them all at once . I think changing the recovery.img isn't a bad thing and resizing the SD-card to 1 GB isn't a bad thing too... And it can be reverted anytime.
Thank you dexter for your hard work ! So far this Modfolio 1.4 is waaaaaay better anything else. I will never understand lazy companies wasting awesome hardware with cheap port of android OS...
this is really important. i downgraded and unlocked bootloader but i can not flash custom rom and now i am stuck to enlish only. can someone tell me how to make phone flashable in NCS or any other way to restore so i can get Greek inside again?

what do you mean mate?
just for the of anything, is the bootloader in the NAND, somewhere in the 2 folders (IMAGE and KEYSTORE)?
if so, is it possible to replace it with alocked one and reboot?
Hi,
Download the locked bootloader "RM803_12w07_prod_generic_nokia_osbl.esco", the size should be about 934KB. Unzip it, where should be two files "nokia_osbl.mbn" and "nokia_osbl.mbn.cert". Then "dd if=nokia_osbl.mbn of=/dev/sdX2" where X is the device id, to check it out use "fdisk -l". Restart the phone, voilà.
Warning!!!
1. Make sure that *generic_nokia_osbl.esco is appropriate to your phone type(RM-number).
2. Think twice before you do any think, it may brick your phone.

Here are the exact steps I used to recover the Nokia DLOAD bootloader after unlock:
1) Download _http_://nds2.fds-fire.nokia.com/p/d/fds_fire/1203/2211/7000248136/RM803_12w07_prod_generic_updated_nokia_osbl.esco
2) Rename the file to RM803_12w07_prod_generic_updated_nokia_osbl.zip and open it. It should contain two files, one will be named nokia_osbl.mbn. Extract that one.
3) Connect the Nokia 710 phone in the Qualcomm bootloader mode to the computer (ie. boot it with holding the volume up key) and wait till it shows as a disk.
4) Open HxD as administrator and select Extras -> Open disk. Find the Removable disk that matches the connected Nokia device. Don't forget to uncheck the "read-only" mode! The partition with the boot loader should start at sector 1001, you can navigate to it using the toolbar at the top.
5) Verify that it starts with the bytes 0B 00.
6) Open nokia_osbl.mdn in HxD and copy the whole file over to the disk starting at the sector 1001. Save it.
7) Unplug the device and reboot it. Now it should be flashable with NCS again.
this worked for me. i heve now 10120 again.

i suppose that you understood it and did not erase anything or replaced anything. you just copied the entire file to where you were supposed to, starting at sector 1001.

Did You open disk even if was asking You to format or You are the one lucky with Qualcomm's drivers installed?
Is asking me to format but when I opened it in HxD I havent got partition as you did.
i did not open the disk nor i formatted it.
after i downgraded my bootloader to the qualcomm one, i was unable to flash using DD or linux to any custom rom.
so i followed the steps by Filip Navara using the ".esco" file that he provided and following exactly the instructions.
with HxD i did the rest. bear in mind that you do not replace or remove any data or lines from your partition using HxD, you just ADD the file.
OK I did as Filip Navara wrote. Everything is working well but still issue with ID
what ID m8? i have no problems after that i flashed 12120 tango with NCS and all work as supposed to.
There is issue after unlock with ID isn't?
So after copy nokia_osbl.mbn to sdx2 I was able to flash by NCS what I did with 12070 but problem with ID remained.
i never managed to flash the custom rom (don't know if you did) but after i flashed with NCS i had no Live ID issues. btw what sorts of issues are they?
does it have anything to do that it is a dev unlocked phone?
thanks.
Hi,
There is much simplified solution now, still under beta test. If you feel adventurous
enough you can give it a go, while checking all warning and precautions.

Hello everyone, today I will show you my way how to unbrick hard-bricked Selecline MW7526L - 871023 S4T7IN with mainboard [BND-RK3126-K86-YH A2.4] for free by without InfinityBox CM2RKT v2.01 or others...
The way I figured out on my own without box cost me 2 days of trying searching online and I was very disappointed because there is almost no support for devices like this, and if you find something you can't download without membership, so I pass hard way to figured out the right way to make a live this device again, but I decided to make it very easy for you guys with all already prepared files to save your time .
BEFORE WE START - open your device and check if your mainboard is with code [BND-RK3126-K86-YH A2.4] if not don't try it.

So let's Start
1. Download and extract files to your Desktop drivers , flash tool and firmware:
Edit:
Links updated
#Firmware:

1.1 Install drivers
Now once you extracted file inside you will find Rockchip_DriverAssitant_v4.4 folder, open it and Run DriverInstall.exe in order to install driver.
There’s no need to connect your Rockchip device during this procedure, a very important thing is if you've previously tried to install the Rockchip USB drivers for any Rockchip devices make sure you click “Uninstall Driver” first and then Re-open DriverInstall.exe and click on “Install Driver”.
See steps in pictures:
image 1
https://ibb.co/wYd6SSJ
image 2
https://ibb.co/ypd9B36
image 3
Click on "Run"
https://ibb.co/qpZXTPg
image 4
Click on "Install Driver"
https://ibb.co/0KsxRTW
Image 5
Click “Install Driver”, and depending on your version of Windows the Security below may show up twice during installation. Just click “Install”.
https://ibb.co/FKQTBm3
Image 6
Once driver is installed click "Okay" and Exit from RK Driver Assistant v4.4
https://ibb.co/2v74MyH
1. 2 Now extract downloaded firmware to Desktop or wherever you want.
For me is easy to create one new folder on Desktop with name MW7526L - 871023 S4T7IN
But you can do how is easy for you ...
1.3 Now extract downloaded flash tool and run "AndroidTool.exe" and load all prepared files from Selecline MW7526L - 871023 S4T7IN folder where you extracted files. In my case I extracted to the Desktop so my location is C:\Users\Maksim\Desktop\Selecline MW7526L - 871023 S4T7IN\Flash tool and files\image .And load each one and make sure to check all boxes exept userdata.
See steps in pictures:

https://ibb.co/Yhy3wc8
Image 2
https://ibb.co/F6fhHMK
Image 3
Check all except the userdata and load parameter file from extracted firmware in my case Selecline MW7526L - 871023 S4T7IN\Flash tool and files folder each img files one by one except the user data and Radial update from Selecline MW7526L - 871023 S4T7IN\Flash tool and files\image folder.
https://ibb.co/Pzq87sw
4. Now press together Vol + / Vol- and plug usb cable and press also Power button for few seconds for device to be detected like Loader inside tool.
Then once is detected press on "Lower Format" and wait to be done. Then again do the same step and now press "Run"and wait for progress to complete full and your device will boot ....
image 1
https://ibb.co/QdNcVsq
image 2
https://ibb.co/5xqSzsv
image 3
https://ibb.co/xDnvTzy
Now once device is booted it will take more than 5 minutes to load so all you need to do is to force your device to boot into Recovery mode, to do that once device is stucked on boot logo just HOLD together Power button and Vol + button and just hold like that and your device will reboot and don't release buttons until you see you are in recovery mode.
You will facing errors like
E: failed to load cache ... it will be fixed after factory reset
E: failed to load rknand ... it will be fixed after factory reset
E: failed to mount /mt/sd ... it means that device can't mount micro sd card because is not existed
Ignore those and just simple with Vol- go to Wipe Cache partition and confirm with one time pressedPower button .
Now once is completed go to Wipe data /Factory reset and confirm with Power button . Once is once is completed go to Reboot system now and confirm with one time pressed Power button .

https://ibb.co/pn6b0zx
To make it work properly update Google play services and also apps like YouTube, Google, etc...
Device is slow with 512MB of RAM so don't expect to be so fast like devices with 2GB or more ....
FLASH TOOL CAN'T DETECT YOUR DEVICE
Solution:
Short 7-8-9 pin from nandchip with tweezers or some wire carefullyor and plug the usb cable while you shorted those pins from nandchip.
See picture:
image
https://ibb.co/bP4WYWC
Device it will be detected inside flashtool like Found One MASKROM Device and flash as in the instructions above and it should be fine.
That's it :highfive:
Good luck

There’s no need to connect your Rockchip device during this procedure, a very important thing is if you've previously tried to install the Rockchip USB drivers for any Rockchip devices make sure you click “Uninstall Driver” first and then Re-open DriverInstall.exe and click on “Install Driver”.

Hi,
I have been recently working on ways to boot AA 11 in Raspi 4 (4 GB) via manual build. Having followed all steps till build, when creating partitions and flashing each individual image to the partition
1. SDX1 -> boot files (manual copy setting boot flag)
2. SDX2 -> linux partition -> system.img
3. SDX3 -> linux partition -> vendor.img
the raspberry boot to the gradient wheel and resets, need to know how do i debug the issue or make the individual files as a single .img file for flashing via pi-imager
Thanks in Advance,
Patric

The image booted okay for me. However, it flickers now and then (tried two different displays). And most of the features do no work (e.g. calling, clicking on a contact doesn't do anything; maps do not load even after Bluetooth internet tethering to my phone).
Are you experiencing the same?
For those with success with the snapp image, did you have to do anything special? I downloaded it, used the raspberry image writer to write it to a 64gb sdcard (only one I have on hand, it works with raspbian) and attempted to boot. It shows the rainbow screen but then a blank screen. Is there anything I need to do? I am using the 8gb version of the board.

I had the same issue at first. Changing the display worked for me (I was using a waveshare 4.3" display, changed to my computer monitor and it showed up).

Thank you - I was trying with the official 7" touch screen. I tried again with the micro HDMI but it also didn't work - but I will look further to display related settings and see if I can spot anything.

Hi i will point you to the easy way to do it .
1-create SD card the same way you have created the first one
but put in mind to use the smallest capacity sd card that can hold the three partitions
the smaller sd card you use will help you creating smaller.img
2- use software called Win32DiskImager to make img file of your sd card.
3- And walla you have one image file .
note : you may add auto resizing script to Expand File System after installation.
or just let user do it manually using raspi-config .
if my answer is helpful please use thanks button
and consider send me pm of created img for self use
