How would I go about changing the keyboard in my theme? I love Royal Ginger, but I want the keyboard that comes with CM7.
How would I go about doing this?
Take LatinIME.apk from the rom and push it to /system/app/.

Hi all,
I'm looking for a themed AOSP MMS.apk to push on Bionix V. Preferebly the one from nero V3.
If not THE ONE from Nero V3 then just a black themed AOSP MMS would be great.
Thanks in advance....
Edit: When I take the MMS.apk from Nero V3 and push it on Bionix V the .apk works great but it has a white/gray theme.... What other files do I need to take to keep the black theme?
There should be an options in the settings that changes it to black. If its already checked, just uncheck it and check it again and restart the mms app.
I am on indroid 3.0 now i want the icon appearance like of gingerbread green one not blue ( indroid one)....
and the stock icons for gingerbread for messaging contacts etc....is it possible ??? can you tell me how
i have already changed the theme to gingerbread by kyrillos but the icons are of indroid 3.0
changing the theme is only changing the frameworks, it doesent mean changing your icon!
you can change your icons with a launcher like ADW Launcher EX
or can can edit your apps to change icons.....use Total Comander that can open *.apk
I love MIUI. I love the look of the menus, I love the lockscreen, I love the statusbar, I love the browser, the music app. I just don't like the launcher. So I use Go Launcher Ex.
But I also want to change the icons. I want MIUI to use the icons that are in the .apk files, the default icons. Now MIUI uses their own themed icons, and a square around non-themed icons. I just want ALL icons to look like they look on a normal android gingerbread phone. No squares, no theme.
I've searched a lot on the internet. So far, it looks like this is the best way to do what I want:
- Download a MIUI theme (.mtz) that uses "default" gingerbread icons, and apply only the icons of that theme in the theme manager. I found a theme called "Android 2.3" (you can find it by typing in "android" in the theme manager - online themes). And hurray, it works! But only in the MIUI launcher! For some strange reason Go Launcher Ex decided to keep the square MIUI icons.
So what now? How can I change the MIUI square icons to the default gingerbread icons? How can I tell MIUI to just use the icons in the .apk files, and not their own themed icons? I'm sure it's possible, right?
Ahhhhhhh MIUI, my favorite rom. I've noticed the same thing....once you're themed, how do you go back? Default theme used to work but its lost its defaultyness. I found that "black ice 2.3" theme in the online theme section in your settings is pretty ****in close....give it a shot

I was wondering if replacing neutrino 2.7 launcher (which is go launcher) was as easy as removing the system launcher.apk and putting another launcher renamed to that.
I wanted to try this as a default launcher:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...DEwMiwibW9iaS5TeW5kaWNhdGVBcHBzLklDU1BsdXMiXQ..
EDIT: I was also wondering, if someone knew how to change the default lock screen as well, or how to change the theme all together, since my launcherpro wasn't working to change the theme for some reason (after flashing the theme changer enabler)
Just download another launcher, install it, and select to use it as default.
Get Widgetlocker from the market to change lockscreen.
