Evo 3D Rooted Remove Weather Lock Screen

Hey,
i have a evo 3d and even before i rooted it and put a custom rom on it, i wanted to remove that weather lock screen that always comes up when you power your phone on. The one that has phone mail camera messages icons and the Current weather, and you then have to drag a circle to the middle. That is the screen i want to remove or disable.
How can i do this with a rooted or stock phone?
I have seen the no lock app and the ScreenMode App which DO remove the Lock screen im talking about, but they ALSO REMOVE the security Pin / Pattern Lock screen also (which i want to retain.)
As it is now, i have to go through 2 lock screen when i power up my phone- The Weather Lock screen i speak of above and want to remove/disable - and the 2nd lock screen is my Pin/Pattern Lock screen which i can enable or disable via Settings->Security->Device Lock.
Please help me remove the weather lock screen,
tks
Widgetlocker is your answer
there's a couple ROMs in the dev section that have removed it, and are using the aosp lockscreen, go check them out.
Just go to setting personalize lock screen and change it to whatever you want no root needed
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
You have 2 options. You can go into system/data and rename HTCLockscreen.apk to HTCLocksreen.bak (rather than deleting it, in case you ever want it back). Or you could use Titanium Backup to uninstall HTCLockscreen
Widget Locker now gives me its locker screen, which is then followed by my Pattern lock screen (which i need, i only want the pattern lock screen).
If i go to Settings->Personalize (nothing happens, as in i get no options to choose), it just brings me back to the home screen.
I have Titanium Backup Pro and removed HtcLockScreen.apk and it removed it sucesfuly, but now the default Google Lock screen (with the lock on one side, speaker on the other) and you slide the lock to the right to unlock it.
Is there a way to keep WidgetLocker running, but set it to NO lock screen. Normally you would just un-check "Enable Widget Locker" in WidgetLocker's settings but doing this makes the home weather lock screen reappear.
or is there a way to disable the Google lock screen and keep the Pattern Security lock screen (this is how i had it on my EVO 4g)
Thanks for the help guys!

Hold your finger on the weather widget for about 10 seconds (untill the *trash* pops up at the bottom) and drag the sucker into the trash.
Took me all of the first day I owned this phone to kill that POS.
To remove the default HTC Lock screen?
Eitherway i dont have a Weather Widget on my home screen, nor can i add one (dont have weather or news listed under my widgets when i try to add)
tks for the reply

[Q] MiLocker with pattern lock possible?

Hello, all!
I recently installed MiLocker with a nice five-way app ring, and have it tweaked to use Dolphin HD instead of the standard browser, etc. Looks great, works great! I have noticed, however, that it disables the standard Android security lock (i.e., pattern, PIN or password). At first, I thought there was something in my Tasker profile or the CyanogenMod settings causing this, but I've ruled that out. It appears that MiLocker not only replaces the Android slide lock, but also the security lock.
Does anyone know if it is possible to use MiLocker in conjunction with the Android security lock? In other words, I would like the MiLocker screen to be displayed when the phone wakes up, I select the app from the five-way ring, and then my usual pattern lock comes up. As it is now, using MiLocker disables access security on the phone, which I don't like.
This is on an HTC Desire Z running CM7.
Anyone? It appears that MiLocker simply prevents the phone from locking at all, since none of the CM settings related to display and security lock are honoured (like lock delay).

Is there a way to disable the lockscreen on rooted stock?

Curious, as I find it rather annoying and rather pointless to have.
[Q] News & Weather Stock App - Rooted v1.4.3
I have not found a permanent way to disable the lock screen. There are several apps in the app store that will temporarily do it, I use a widget app called Widgetsoid where that is one of the controls you can set to have on the screen. I have found that the OS turns it back on at random intervals.
If you use CM7 there is an option in the settings to turn off the lock screen though.

Disable Default Lock Screen

Is there any way to get rid of the redundant ring pull lock screen? I'd like to be able to just have my pattern lock be the only thing I need to access the phone and/or keep it from turning on in my pocket.

No my friend. Apple can also disable quick lockscreen settings. Only pixels no. Oneplus, samsung instead yes. I used cerberusapp to disable the shutdown button and then I'm using Power Shade (paid) to block toogles from lockscreen
my quick settings are locked i cant do anything swiping qs unless i put in my fingerprint, or pattern password,
im not totally sure what steps i took, but i disable most settings, it seems to be in there buddy

It depends on which toggles you have visible, in the settings there is nothing about it.
But do you have a rom installed?
stock a13
hmm perplexing,
sometimes all qs comes up and i can turn on flash etc
sometimes it goes straight to lock screen
only features turned on lock screen are; show devices controls "maybe bluetooth related", and always show time and info

I'd suggest to keep an eye on the phone and be careful to avoid such mishaps
